I don't know... I gave up after a few episodes. But I guess, he was her biological father, although I'm not 100% sure...
Yes, the child abuse issue was a good touch... Uske baad, they spoiled the story.
Besides, I could not tolerate the ML for long... So, I gave up.
No biggie! Truth to be told, for some reason I have never liked the hero. I mean I understand he is hot by common criteria but never really liked him and never saw him in any of my favorite shows, so don't know about his acting.
But Shivin - I found really good in those scenes you mentioned.
Ashish - at points I felt he came across a bit artificial with voice modulation. But my personal favorite scene was when Rudra came with Maya! 😈 😈 😈
Frankly speaking, I don't have much to say in this aspect... I have only watched Koi Mil Gaya and Hrithik Roshan was awesome in that.
Apart from that, I haven't watched any show with this story cos these stories do not interest me. A mentally challenged person needs love and constant care. Somehow, I am unable to imagine a love story with this plot.
But yes, I have to say this:
In real life, a mentally challenged person needs proper medicines and treatment with a proper care. The way they show the mentally challenged leads being cured just by the 'magic of love'... I find this completely absurd. Such kind of things do not happen in real life. Agar aisa hota to psychiatric clinics and hospitals kab ke band ho chuke hote and all the patients would be cured with the magic of their respective spouses' love...
That's what I asked mainly. Not just Koi Mill Gaya; watched a couple of episodics of my countries too on love between physically/mentally challenged person and a normal person. And like many say 90s was the golden age of ITV, I would say 80s, 90a and the beginning of 2000's decade was the golden age of Bangladeshi TV shows as the actors were fabulous and the scripts were crisp.
Anyway, the point is, at that time due to the acting and everything, as a kid and later as a teenager, I used to think may be it's possible and the opposing guardians are villains.
But now when I think about it as an adult, I feel such concepts shouldn't be telecast to glorify this type of love because at the end it might not end well. First impression is one thing but in a relationship there is all sorts of need and dependence. I can understand if a person is physically disabled because even then he is in his sense and knows how to provide support to his partner.
But with the power of love a mentally challenged person can be okay - that is totally rubbish.
