I only agree with you on two points. One being the mismatched choices of music on piansh or ansh like when ansh was walking through the fire. The music is too peppy and sort of happy for the serious scenes, and tere naam doesn't suit piansh or any of gul khan's shows to be honest for some reason. Also like you I loved the part where ansh reminded them of his marital status. Shows that his morals are still in tact despite his feelings for pia... unlike another channel's/ shows current male lead (You guys will probs guess this, but don't say it, for we don't want comparisons to other shows as it's against forum rules). 😆Vedashree is shocked and scared of seeing this daavansh side of him, as it is this dark side of him she has tried to repress all these years with her upbringing. She wants to prove to mohana that ansh is no killer and not evil like her, as he has her upbringing despite mohana's daayan blood coursing through him, whilst mohana has made it a point to prove to ved that despite her bringing ansh up, he is mohana's son and he is like her.
I'm sorry but although I like mohana, when it comes to ansh and being a good mother who will be by his side, vedashree without a doubt wins mother of the year award for ansh. One reason being despite knowing he is a daayan's son she decided to never have a child of her own so that she would give all her motherly love to ansh-kaajal (although the latter is never given screen time).
The second reason is that mohana wants his daavansh side to over power his human side just so that being a powerful daavansh, she can have him by her side. She treats ansh as an asset and property who will go on to be a weapon for him. Mohana's love for ansh is based heavily on conditions, expectations and personal gain. She wants him to be evil and on her side, whereas vedashree doesn't want him to be evil. So for this reason vedashree is the unconditionally loving mother.
Mohana sided with ansh yesterday as she was fearful of ansh losing his daavansh powers because of the pataal ketki, and she has shown this fear for the second time now, but I also agree that she does have a soft corner for her son and also seems in pain to see him get hurt, but not anymore than ved feels.
