It's been since long and it has not effected any TRPs till date ... but all do not have access to Hotstar Premium and u have to take a monthly subscription at an extra cost ...
Hotstar is available abroad also - so viewership of Star Plus Shows get a broader audience ...

I've not subscribed to premium but still I can watch it and I remember someone else also said this for another show

Yesterday one thing occurred to me. When I am on wifi it was showing premium. Then I switched to jio and it became visible to me. Then I switched off jio and back to wifi of my cable internet. But still that episode was visible to me
