Pallavi Subhash, last seen in Godbharai has been roped in Siddharth Kumar Tewary's Mahabharat. She will be playing the role of Amba, inform sources. Others in the cast include Sayantani Ghosh as Satyavati, a model-turned-actor Arav Choudharry as Bheeshma and Shaheer Sheikh as Arjun. A set has been erected in Umargaon in Gujarat and the shoot is going on in full swing. The serial slated on Star Plus is expected to go on air post IPL.
