Then he slowly opened his eyes and after realization he was desperate to hear her voice. So he immediately picked up the phone and then dialled her no. But there was some message network busy and when he asked at reception they told him it's due to bad weather all lines are dead and kept the phone aside in frustration.
Here Navya was too getting angry on him that he could inform her before leaving and even now he didn't call her once.

Chapter- 18
From morning Navya was busy at work that she didn't have time to breathe. Since the time she returned from Anant's house she was confused as she just couldn't able to understand him. Many times she noticed that he was trying to distance himself from her and sometimes try to behave normal in front of Nimmi. But every time she suppressed them thinking that might be it's bcoz of their fake relation. So as a result she engrossed herself in work to avoid such kind of erratic thoughts.
In afternoon she felt little tired. She sighed and closed her eyes while leaning her head on chair and flashes of last night were in front of her eyes. She jerked them open and it was then she realized that it's going to hit 3 pm. Her heart urge to meet him as she didn't have a glimpse of him since night forget about glimpse she didn't even hear his voice and this made her worried too. She tried hard to control her heart but finally she gave up and decided to go and check.
She came out of her cabin and started moving towards Anant's cabin when she was stopped in her tracks by Anant's PA.
PA :'Ma'am aap kaha ja rahi hain? '
'Anant Sir ke cabin mein' Navya replied with smile.
'Per Sir toh Lonavala gaye hain'
She couldn't believe on her ears so she asked in order to confirm'Lonavala?'
'Ya Ma'am he left in noon only' she replied and left from there leaving Navya in her thoughts.
Navya just stood there quietly in shock as she said that and then whispered to herself again and again 'Ek baar mujhe bataya bhi nahi' and quickly turned towards her cabin. She felt hurt as he didn't call her from yesterday night and now too he left without informing her.
It's been 2 hours since Navya came back to her cabin but she was unable to concentrate in work. And how could she concentrate as her mind was wandering over one question does he feel same for her? She was feeling too restless and immediately takes a file from table. She started flipping through pages without looking at it and bad luck to her fate that note slipped from file and she didn't notice that.
This didn't help and then she throws the file in frustration. She was angry at herself for feeling so miserable bcoz of him. Her trail of thoughts had been broken by the bell phone. She picked up the phone and then receptionist told her that she had a call from Ritz and she tells her to transfer the call.
'Hello !!'
Ritz:' Navya tum ne apna phone kyu switch off kiya hai? Sab kuch thek hai na?'
And then she noticed and lost in her thoughts 'May be Anant too called me'
'Navya , tu sun rahi hai na?'
Ritz voice bring her back from her thoughts and said ' vo actually mere cell ki battery khatam ho gaye thi shayad is liye'
'Kya hua Navya tu thek toh hai na?' Ritz asked when she sensed her low tone.
'Ya I am perfectly fine don't worry' she tried to convince her but Ritz understood that.
'Acha chal aaj shopping ke liye chaltey hain' Ritz asked while trying to cheer her up.
'Nahi yaar mere maan nahi hai..'
'Mujhe kuch nahi sun na tu bas jaldi se cafe mein aa ja mein aur Ranbir teri wait kar rahe hain' she replied sternly and cuts the line.
It's been 1hour since Ritz called her and she tried hard to concentrate on work but failed. Finally she decided to leave thinking that may be she feels better with them.
Ritz was continuously looking towards the entrance. She was worried about her and Ranbir noticed that.
Ranbir :'Relax Ritz!! Itne tension mat lo sab thek ho gaye ga . just calm down'
Ritz: 'tension kaise na loon ..'
Ranbir: 'acha toh ka tumahrey pareshan hone se sab thek ho jayega?'
Ritz:' toh kya karu aise hi chup chap sab kuch dekhti rahun..'
Ranbir: 'Ritz mein janta hoon ki tumhey Navya ki bahut fikar hai per meinAnant ko bachpan se ganta hoon vo bahut hi ziddi hai'
Ritz: 'toh kya vo kabhi bhi shaadi nahi karey ga?'
Ranbir: 'shayad..pata ..' he just left his sentence in mid way as she saw Navya standing there.
After hearing this last straw of hope broke down her eyes glowing with pain. She wanted to leave from there and get some time alone but she couldn't.
'Arey Navya tum kabh aayi?' Ranbir asked.
When she didn't reply both of them looked each other flushed faces.
'Navya!!' Ritz said while patting on her shoulder and she immediately came back from her reverie.
Navya smiled weakly and looked at Ritz. Ritz looked at her and noticed her stormy eyes that she was trying her best not to make visible to them. Seeing them silent Ranbir thought to broke the silence.
Ranbir: 'arey Navya tum khadi kyu ho batho na'
Then Navya sat besides Ritz.
Ranbir:' kya hua Navya ? bahut thaki hui lag rahi ho'
'Huh!! Aaj office mein bahut kam tha' Navya replied while trying to behave normal.
'Haan khud toh Lonavala chala gaya aur sara kaam tumhey karna pad raha hai' Ranbir chuckled .
'Matlab Ranbir ko pata hai and he didn't find it important to inform me' she thought angrily and Ritz noticed the change in her expression and immediately gesture him to change the topic.
In the meantime waiter came with coffee.
'chalo abh jaldi se coffee pe ker shopping ke liye chalte hain aur phir tum harey fav restaurant mein dinner.' Ritz said while trying to cheer her up.
Navya:Nahi Ritz phir kabhi..
Ritz: haan pata hai tu kahe ge ki tera mood nahi hai..ye vo..
Navya: Ritzzz!!
Ranbir: Come on Navya! Ritz itna kah rahi hai toh chalo na
Navya: sach mein aaj mere sir mein bahut dard ho raha hai..phir kabhi promise..
Ritz:Acha chal thek hai
Navya : Thank you. Acha abh mein chalti hoon.Ok bye. Bye Ranbir.
Ritz and Ranbir: 'bye' as she left Ritz take a deep sigh while thinking 'lagta hai mujhe hi kuch karna padega.'
Anant was lying on bed but still not able to sleep. He was thinking about Navya. He remembers the day when he first met with her and it brings a smile on his face. Thinking about her he didn't realize when he drifted off to sleep.
But things were not same at the other end. Navya 's heart was a flutter of emotions since he came back from cafe. She was sitting near window and looking at the moon and was thinking about him. There were many thoughts and questions running in her mind. Her heart was pondering over Ranbir's words. She closed her eyes to found answer to her questions.
Her heart and mind were fighting a battle both were running in opposite directions. Her heart is saying that he loves him but her mind was not ready to believe it. She didn't know to whom she listen. No matter how hard she was trying to ignore her feelings towards him but she failed. Many times she noticed Anant's nervousness when she was around him but she thought its bcoz that Anant's too love her. But now she didn't want to give unnecessary hope to herself.
'That means he hugged me just as a friend? That means what I read in his eyes was wrong? That means he don't love me?' Navya thought while leaning her head on window pain. And it's not her fault bcoz if there was anyone on her place then she too must have thought same way.
A call from Renuka brought her back to reality. She picked up the call.
Navya: Hi di! How r u?
Renu:Mein thek hun tu suna tu kaise hai?
Navya: mein thek hun aur gudiya jiju aur dadi sab kaise hai?
'Sab thek hai.. abh jaldi se bata tune kya socha?' Renu asked anxiously.
Navya didn't know what to say now ' Di vo..'
Renu: Naviii!! mujhe sirf yeh bata haan ya nahi?
Then after thinking for a while she replied while closing her eyes in pain' aap jaisa thek samjahey'
Renu: really?
Navya :hmmm..
Renu: I love you Navi. Thank you so much.Tere jiju suney gey toh bahut kush hongey.
Navya replied while trying to hold back her tears ' Acha Di mein aap se baad mein baat karti hun Ritz ka call aa raha hai'
Renu: ok bye aur apna dhayan rakhna and then she too cuts the call and broke into tears that she was controlling so far.
She slowly sits on the bed and picked up the picture of her parents that she kept on her bedside and traced her fingers over their face.
'Aap dono mujhe akela kyu chod kar chale gaye. Mein bahut akeli ho gaye hun . Mujhe kuch samajah mein nahi aa raha ki mein kya karoon. Mein har faisla aap se puch ker liya hai Papa. per aaj mein kis se puchun ' she said while sobbing her heart out.
' I m missing you Papa I m missing you Maa. 'saying this she hugged the picture tightly and started crying letting everything out of her heart.
Suddenly she felt someone is standing near her and caressing with his hand on her head. She instantly opened her eyes and found no one there but she felt little better after pouring her heart out and then wiped her tears. Thinking about them she lay on the bed while clutching their picture close to her heart and drifted into deep slumber.
As the sun ray fell on his face Anant woke up with new happiness of realizing his feeling towards Navya. He never thought that he could feel like this for anyone. He didn't want to get marry to anyone but after meeting her everything is changed. She was completely stranger to her just 6 months before but now she became an important part of his life. He had just come one day before and he started missing her badly. He was dying to hear her voice and to see her.
'I am missing her' he murmured sitting there smiling to himself but somehow he braced himself and gets up from the bed and got ready for the meeting.
On the other side Navya opened her eyes after restless night. Her eyes were looking red and puffy due to crying. She looked at her cell phone hoping that may be Anant texted her but there was no message. After struggling with her thoughts she finally decided to get ready for office.
In afternoon meeting was over and Anant decided to go back. He immediately picked his phone thinking to call her as from morning he was too busy and didn't get time but then thought to surprise her and kept aside.
Anant was very excited to meet her and nervous too. And the reason is his realization. He didn't know how to confess his feeling to her. Then he thought to take the help of Ranbir but shrug off thinking that he'll definitely make fun of him if I said that how nervous I am.
'Oh god!! aaj kitna traffic hai' said Anant as he drove towards office after reaching Mumbai. But truth is that today traffic is much lighter than other days but he was so desperate to meet her that he didn't notice that.
He stopped his car on red light and suddenly he reminds of something. He quickly parked the car on roadside and gets out and walks to florist shop. How could he ignore these as he remembers how much Navya loves orchids. He quickly paid for it and again started driving.
Navya was busy in wrapping up her work. Whole day she was copped up in cabin only. Many found her little disturbed and asked the reason behind it but she just said it's work pressure nothing else. Suddenly her phone rang.
Ritz :Hi!! Navya ?
Navya : Hi!
Ritz :How is ur headache now?
Navya: much better.
Ritz: acha chal jaldi se bahar aa tere liye ek surprise hai and before she ask anything she cuts the line.
After 45 minutes drive he finally reached the office and after parking the car headed towards office. As soon as he walked towards entrance his heart skipped several beats on seeing her in a pink chudidar. She was looking extremely beautiful and his eyes set on her.
Suddenly Navya felt a strange sensation and then she noticed Anant's gaze on her. Her stomach churns with butterflies and her pulse rate faster but soon she came back into her senses and thought 'when he came back?? He didn't inform me again.'
She was lost in her thoughts that suddenly a car came and stopped in front of her. She can't see his face clearly as he was getting out of the car. As soon he gets out of the car and she saw a young man wearing white t-shirt and blue denim jeans standing in front of her. Her eyes widened in shock and a smiled crept on her face .
Navya: Sushant!!!
Sushant: Hi Navya.
And then she hugged him. She was surprised no doubt but tears started rolling from her eyes unknowingly.
