Anya Honeymoon Part 13- Walking with the lions

They walked along a little river hand in hand with the moonlight shining with their smiles. Navya laid her head on Anant's shoulder as she felt his heart beating for her. "Anant thanks so much for this! I really am lucky to have you!" Navya looked up at him as she brushed her hand through his hair. He touched his nose with her and smiled. "Silly girl you don't just have me but I'm the luckiest guy in the world to have got such a sweet, lovely wife that's not only beautiful on the outside but beautiful on the inside too!" He hugged her tightly and kissed her forehead. "Navya lets go back to the hotel because we still have a week left we need to get moving and seeing everything in this beautiful country!" They walked back to the car and drove back to the hotel. They went to their room and then went straight to sleep as they were knackered.

It was 8am and they were both still sleeping comforted into each other's arms like magnets. Navya slowly crept opened her eyes to see the time on the wall. Her eyes bulged open as she saw the time. She jumped out of the bed but was drawn back because her mangalsutra was caught on Anant's t shirt. "Ouch!" she was pulled back with such force that she almost knocked Anant out. He woke up in shock "What happened Navya!" he was still in shock as he rubbed his eyes. "Anant, my mangalsutra is stuck on your shirt can you please untangle it?" Anant looked down and realised his wife's problem. He smiled naughtily and he pulled Navya closer. "Why are you in a rush to go away from your husband let me be close to you, or do you have more important things to do?" he looked away and she felt guilty immediately. He did this every time to try and get close to she and she fell for every tease he did. "Anant what is this? I need to go and have a shower and get ready you were the one that wanted to explore Mauritius and now you are not even helping me!" Navya tried to untangle the mangalsutra herself as she was not going to get any help from Anant. Anant smiled at her stubbornness and admired her cuteness. She untangled the mangalsutra and she stood up and went into the bathroom when Anant held her hand. "Navya, are you angry with me?" he couldn't bear her not looking at him, she meant everything to him and she always wanted to see her smiling. She didn't look at him and she went into the bathroom. "I think I am going to have to make madam happy again I know just where to go today that will make her mine again!"

She walked out of the bathroom hoping that Anant would come and try to make her happy and take her in his arms. But Anant walked straight into the bathroom not making eye contact with her. She gaped in shock at Anant but was worried as well. She thought I was only joking with him I wasn't really that angry. Oh god what have I done now! She worriedly got dressed and Anant looked at her to indicate to come with her so they can go out. They sat in their rented car and there was complete silence. They reached the Casela Nature and Leisure Park it's located in the western part of Mauritius and is one of the biggest leisure parks here. Navya looked out of the window and it was beautiful it was surrounded in beautiful exotic plants and flowers and there was also a beautiful restaurant called Le Mirador which had a stunning view onto the west coast. It was like heaven to Navya's eyes and Anant mesmerised her happiness through the corner of his eyes. He thought I'm glad she likes it! They parked the car and Anant and Navya walked to the entrance to get the guide tour booklet and also to pay for entry. Anant looked at all the prices and he came across something very unique he spoke the woman at the desk and she explained each one. "Okay thanks I'll have the full package then for 4000 rupees!" Navya looked at Anant shocked it was too expensive. "Anant this is too much!" she was worried that Anant was spending too much money lavishing away. Anant didn't take notice and moved her to the side. "Navya please we have come on a honeymoon, couples spend as much money as they want and enjoy cant we do the same for this last week?!" Anant got quite angry and Navya started crying and got very upset. "Navya look I'm sorry I shouldn't have shouted at you please stop crying people are watching us as they walk by I'm doing all this to make you happy after this morning, I don't care how much this costs I just want to see you smile and if that means spending crore rupees I am ready to do that!" Anant pulled Navya into his arms and he got teary eyed too. He wiped Navya's tears and said to her "Never let these tears fall from your eyes ever otherwise I will have to suffer from making you hurt, so please Navya just smile for me once!" Navya punched his chest and started laughing and smiling. She hugged him tightly again "Anant I'm sorry I shouldn't have got angry in the morning so easily I was only playing and I thought that you would try and come close to me then but you didn't! It's my entire fault I should be the one apologising not you" she kissed his cheek to apologise and hugged him lightly. They forgot their misunderstandings and went to explore this beautiful place. They walked into the zoo and it was packed with people, young families and the atmosphere was brilliant. It was a peaceful well laid out zoo with over 150 types of birds, sea animals, elephants, giraffes, lions. There were so many animals to see that Navya became a little girl again she ran into the zoo wanting to see every animal. "Navya wait for me!" Anant ran after her smiling and they slowly made their way round the zoo. There were flamingos and this caught Navya's attention first they were just like her in nature pure. They were walking around near a small pond and Anant thought to take pictures. He bought his special camera and he took a few pictures with the flamingos near the pond. There was a small gate which you could open to get in with the flamingos as they weren't violent animals and a zoo keeper would keep an eye on you. "Anant lets go inside I want to take pictures with the flamingos!" Anant smiled and opened the gate for her. She stood with the flamingos almost stroking them and Anant took pictures of her. He gave the camera to the watchman to take of them both and they hugged in the pictures. They quickly moved on and took pictures of exotic birds including parrots. Anant got an idea he spoke to himself my dad used to tell me that parrots repeat what you say when you say something in front of it. He looked at Navya. "Navya, I love you, you are beautiful!" he giggled and the parrot spoke "Navya, I love you, you are beautiful!" Navya went shy and a shade of pink that made her soft cheeks all the more stunning. Anant kissed her cheek and whispered in her ear "Navya now even the parrots at the zoo know that I love you!" a small tingle ran through Navya's body she was so used to these three words being said by him but every time they meant something different to her. She knew he meant it every time. She spoke out loud "I love you too... my bhandar!" the parrot repeated what Navya said and she giggled away. "Navya this is not on I said something nice and you were all horrible!" the parrot repeated it again. She still giggled "Anant I was only joking after all I was only making you feel at home as there is your whole family here!" Anant got angry and he chased after Navya. "Navya!" he grabbed her duppata and she came trailing back very slowly. The parrot repeated what Navya said again and she couldn't stop laughing "Shut up parrot!" it replied "No!" Anant got angry and he rustled the cage. He grabbed Navya's hand and walked off. "What does the parrot think of himself?" Navya smiled at Anant and cupped his face. "Anant it's only an animal why are you getting angry? We came here for fun right so let's have fun!" Navya dragged Anant into the sea centre where there were lots of sea animals. There were lots of sea turtles, sharks, whales, dolphins, seals and fishes. It was magical. "Navya I think we should have a sea tank in our room where we can watch some fish swim around freely wouldn't it be so cool!" Anant smiled at his idea "Anant it is a good idea but who's going to clean that tank out and do you really think Bua Dadi will let us keep that in our house?!" Navya was looking at Anant "What Navya? It's our room we can do what we want and its not even Bua Dadi's house she's just here because she is nosey and hasn't got anything else better to do with her life other than ruin our romance!" Anant looked at Navya and pulled a face and Navya shook her head "Anant she is our Bua Dadi you can't say anything bad about her like that its bad manners" Anant carried on sulking and Navya told him off.

" Navya stop being an adarsh Star Plus bahu, if she objects I'm still going to have one and that is final I'm Anant Bajpai remember!" Navya was impressed by his speech and his words. "Wow! Anant Bajpai I have to say, someone should learn to be as confident as you!" Navya pulled Anant's cheek and then they carried on looking at the sea creatures. The dolphins, fish and sea turtles were beautiful and they both took some memorable pictures. "Navya let me swim with the dolphins please!" Anant demanded like a little child. Navya was worried, she had never really known much about it and she wasn't sure if it was dangerous. "Anant but I don't know if it's dangerous, what if you get attacked by them, you can watch Anant but I don't want you too, what if I lose you!" Navya held Anant's hand. "Navya its completely safe look everyone is doing it and they are absolutely fine!" Navya looked over and they all seemed fine. She never wanted Anant to be sad or upset so with a heavy heart she nodded her head in agreement. Anant hugged her tightly and kissed her cheeks 100 times. "Anant are you going to stop kissing me or are you going to go and swim?!" Navya looked at Anant and smiled. "Well Mrs Bajpai, I would love to stay but the dolphins are calling me!" Navya was shocked by Anant's words and she muttered "Mr Bajpai we will see how confident you are when you come back to me! Because I won't let you close to me!" she smiled naughtily at her plan. Anant took a dive into the round pool and the dolphins were swimming closely to him. Navya was watching happy to see Anant smiling but worrying like mad inside her heart. She was mentally praying to god for his safety and clutching on to the symbol of her love, her mangalsutra. He was swimming away happily when the dolphin accidently hit him when it was moving near him. Anant drowned more into the water and the blow hit him "ANANT!" Navya got scared and she ran to the man who was looking after Anant "Please can you check if he is okay!" the attendant nodded and jumped into the water. He helped Anant back up and he finally came out of the water. Navya ran to him and straight into his arms. She didn't care if he was wet. "Anant why did you have to put yourself in danger like that, what if something had of happened to you then? What would have happened?!" Navya started crying and a crowd of people rushed towards them. Someone spoke from the crowd "Is she okay?" Anant nodded and they blew a sense of relief. "Navya calm down I am fine, infact it was a great experience, the dolphins are lovely it wasn't their fault either!" Anant wiped Navya's tears and she smiled a little. Water droplets fell from Anant's face onto Navya's and she got her duppata and wiped them off his face. The crowd of people smiled at the happy couple. "Wow such affection and love, Indian couples really are so innocent and pure!" a young couple spoke and this bought smiles on Anant and Navya's face. They walked off happy and Anant got changed again. It had been a couple of hours and they had looked at all of the animals and took so many pictures. There was one last thing to see and they were the fierce, extravagant lions. This is why Anant bought Navya here. "Anant look at the lions people are inside with them aren't they scared?" Anant laughed at her innocence and excitement. "Navya this is a speciality in Mauritius that you can walk and stroke the lions, you can't do it anywhere else in the world, so why not make this special too!" She was a little scared but she was with her Anant so she could face anything and not be scared. She nodded with a cute smile. They entered with the zoo keeper and they explained what to do. Anant stood behind Navya. "Don't worry I'm with you!" she smiled up at him and his reassurance. They firstly observed all the lions and what they did and how they behaved with other people ahead of them. "Anant look there so gentle and they are not even reacting to the people touching them!" Navya was amazed and a permanent smile was on her face. Anant sneakily took a few pictures of her when she was observing the lions with such love. It was there turn to be able to go and stroke the lions. Navya held Anant's hand but Navya was getting scared. "Anant what if it eats me?" Navya hid behind Anant as the lions looked at her and then looked away. "Navya watch me and then follow!" Anant slowly crept nearer towards the lions he put his hand out and stroked the lions gently. Navya peeked through Anant's shoulder to see what they were doing they didn't do anything. "See Navya they are lovely come here give me your hand!" Navya was hesitant but Anant pulled her hand. He held it and then left Navya to stroke the lion. It roared at her and Navya jumped behind Anant "Anant lets go its getting angry!" Anant was a bit tense he too stepped back "Don't worry it is a good sign it means that the lion likes you!" Anant smiled and Navya was still extremely scared and clutching onto Anant's shirt. "Navya did you hear that the lion thinks you're beautiful as well! I'm really jealous now!" Anant bought Navya to the front and hugged her and the lion calmed down. She smiled and went to stroke it again confidently. It roared at her again and she giggled again like a little girl. She truly enjoyed this experience and then they walked around with the lions watching them sit with their families and the little cubs and they exited the area.
