Ritch: Very well written: the dilemma! the issue & the thinking!
It was interesting to read your take on this issue! As being current young generation - what do you think! If ever faced such circumstances!
Like you, I am happy that atleast - finally - this question has been raised on this show: why marraige so early!
It is a key to many of the issues! Including the still not clear MU.
My main concern now is:how sensitively they handle this! Question by Amar is not invalid, or inappropriate or wrong!
Neither it is selfish or intruding in N's personal matters! Any boss , comfortable & friendly with his employees wud do this!
Hope N is open & comfy enough with Amar to discuss out families beleifs! Hope she communicates properly, taking Anant in her side!
Hope both of them as a couple can discuss their situation with Amar! Nothing wrong with it!
It all depends on Cvs how they manage this whole scenario!
I personally relate to it - As when we got engaged I was already working - and my boss - just 10yrs senior to me, was as wonderful as Amar. I am still in touch with him. My husband still jokes he has soft corner for me - and we laugh about it!
After engagement when my inlaws wanted me to give up on work - Me & my husband both talked to my Inlaws- how I can not just give up! ANd I talked to my boss how I wil gradually wind up after finishing up projects in hand - mainly because I had to go out of country after wedding. Things worked out -- the middle way was the right way for us!
Though in Navyas case - it cannot be! She has already commited to bajpayees- not to work after shaadi! Wondering how it all is going to develop!
& hoping this alongwith Renu issue doesnot add ever prevailing tension to long awaited shaadi!
