Again - my advance apologies if I am being too intrusive. These are my personal reflections based on the episode today...
I have seen many Moms think - they should and must be the first point of call for the kids - they handle the problems... and they forget about whether Dad can do it well or not. Moms like to and often will ASSUME dads cannot... maybe its true that moms handle some things better - but surely it depends on the character of the individual...
And yet - I see many moms here in real life - where being the "GO TO person" for kids is sooo critical for them... so what is Dad is the first person they prefer to go to? What wrong? In some ways - it shows insecurities in the person - and theres nothing wrong - we all have our insecurities... but why do women tend to assume ki
a) They are best equipped to manage kids
b) They should be hte first point of call and they should control how dad is involved
c) If DAD is the go to person - something is wrong with them/feel guilty about it?
Isnt it great - that one of the parents is the friend - doesn;t matter which one? Surely - why should moms want to compete with dads?
