Today's episode was heart wrenching to say the least..The scene between Meeta-Navya stole the show for me..😭😭The silence did all the talking for the two and needless to say I was an emotional wreck..Keep the tissues close ladies.. 😭
Silence doing all the talking: As Resmi and many of us predicted Mandbuddhi's SMS ended with an ILU..Meeta making Navya read the SMS out loud did not go down well with me..Its bad enough that she read it, putting Navya through the humiliation was something that could have been avoided IMO..👎🏼Some things are always better kept personal..And Meeta should have realized that Navya is not a kid anymore and there are certain aspects of her personal life that she has the right to keep private..Meeta's following taunts about how they did not bring up Navya so that she could do this kind of stuff was again quite harsh..The way she said it made it quite clear that she looks at AnYa's relationship like its something indecent, shameful, obscene.. At this point her orthodox mindset was getting the better out of her, she had already made up her mind and no matter what Navya said she would not budge from her standpoint..Her anger and frustration coupled with the sense of betrayal finally got the better out of her and she slapped Navya..😭The precap yesterday had us all enraged at how Meeta can hit her grown daughter just because Navya said Anant loves her..But I didn't know the aftermath of the slap would be so heart wrenching..The scene did not have a single dialogue, but Meeta and Navya's silent reaction spoke all there was to be said..At first Navya just had disbelief etched across her face..As she would tell Ritz later, this is was the first time her mom had raised her hand on her..I didn't think Navya's tears were due to anger, or humiliation at being hit by her mom..She was crying because the slap was proof of how much she has hurt Meeta, and how much she has let her mom down..😔The same mom who never resorted to hitting her up to this point of her life did so this time..Now the gravity of the situation hit her harder than ever and her bitter cries conveyed how that one slap shook her up profoundly..😭The saddest part of this scene was what followed next..Seeing Navya shaking with sobs all the anger vanished from Meeta's face..I could see her softening up for the first time ever since she found the card..Seeing Navya's state she realized that she had gone too far..Meeta realized no matter what Navya did, she should not have resorted to hitting her..Navya's tears finally brought down the tough guard Meeta had built around herself..After all, she is a mother, and seeing her child in pain, and knowing she inflicted that pain on her was too much to bear, and the tears spilled over..😭I had to wipe away my tears when both of them were crying looking at each other..As if silently apologizing to each other for what they did..Both of them had hurt each other and both of them were hurting for the same reason..Meeta's reaction gives me hope though, maybe just maybe, now she will be able to hear Navya out without her orthodox believes, and the sense of betrayal controlling her decisions..Maybe her guilt will force her to look at things from Navya's perspective for once..👍🏼
A shattered Anant: The expression on Anant's face when Ritz told him about Meeta slapping Navya clearly conveyed how hurt, guilty, and helpless he was feeling..Hurt because his Navya was hurt, guilty because he brought this upon Navya, and helpless because he could not be with her, wiping away her tears, offering her a shoulder to cry on..💔Anant's tearful eyes conveyed how he couldn't bear the idea of her being in pain, of her being hurt-be it mentally or physically..I forgot to call him a mandbuddhi and instead said "Awww" when he tearfully told Ritz "Main apni Navya ko aisi waqt me akela kaise chod sakta hoon"..❤️Yes, he is a bit immature, yes he is desperate need of brains and a spine but the most important thing of all is he really loves Navya a lot..Its like these two are do jism ek jaan..She was one who got slapped, but he was the one hurting..CVs please don't keep them in sorrow for too long..I can't bear to see these two in pain..😭 On a side note: Kudos to Ritz for keeping Anant from resorting to his mandbuddhi acts..😃
Harsh's sensibility & Deepu's questions: Harsh behaved with such maturity today..He did not probe either one of Navya or Meeta for any information..He did not pull her leg for getting in trouble with mom..Instead he understood the gravity of the situation and even did his part in keeping this little episode private..👏This was the first time I heard Harsh calling Navya 'Di'..It was so moving how he told her to wash her face before coming outside and assured her everything will be alright..🤗Harsh was quite affected by the happenings between Meeta and Navya too..Deepu on the other hand questioned Navya on why Meeta was so upset with her..Navya is intent on telling him the truth but looks like for the time being Meeta has decided to keep the information to herself..I am so happy with this because sooner or later Meeta will be able to look at things from Navya's POV and accept Anant..Dads are a different story altogether..No man is ever good enough for daddy's little princess after all..😆
Precap: Meeta has accompanied Navya to her college and she tells Anant she will inform the police if he continues to talk or follow Navya around..*Sigh*..I guess we won't see Meeta melting before the mahaepisode😒
