Interestingly enough, no, Navya is not my story. Interesting because my parents might as well be similar, I am not sure but Navya definitely doesn't stand a chance to have me identify with her. 😆
The thing is, I totally catch the point and I agree, most girls and parents have to combat this same thing allover. It is indeed real. Though in my case, you could say I am too much of a no nonsense tomboy, the wishes of a girl next door don't match with mine. Hence, I have a different way of dealing with my parents.
They dun trust me, but more than that they dun trust the world I am subjected to. They want to protect me and their own respect of the worldly harms, it's typical and my parents are ordinary too. But unlike Navya, I am not a hesitant and simple young lady. I am her stark opposite but true, I live in the same society as hers.
