I really loved the Shiva Trilogy.Especially the 1st two books. It was written in such an ingenious manner.
My favourite characters were Ganesh and Kali. But I really loved Shiva too.
I loved the manner in which each and every feeling of Shiva was described vividly.

I don't know whether I am satisfied or not but seriously I cried while reading most of the chapters.
Especially Sati's chapters

No I am not.
But I know author can't give happy ending since it will be distorting mythology.
At end of vayuputas I gives you an itched feeling it could have ended better way

When she dies with combat with assassin and killer feels she was his final kill that scene was touching.

The scene in which Sati died was heart wrenching. But I think that Amish could have ended it with Sati surviving since in his trilogy,Sati and Parvati are the same person. And it wouldn't have been a mythological distortion too
