I understand that Neil is Mowgli's Father, but he should have used his brains and realized a child who lived with his Mother for 9 years and surrounded by other kids and aunt figures would not be happy being uprooted from his environment and transplanted into his! Full stop.

He could have asked for joint custody so the child gets to become more used to him, or visiting rights so he can see the child 1-2 times a week and the child becomes used to the idea of him being his Father and his second family of grandparents etc.

Neil would not be the first man who took a child from his biological Mother and while she is very much there, married someone else and made HER the child's Mother and he won't be the last! The fact is we cant stand it coz it's THE Neil Khanna whom we adored that is doing this. The only man on ITV who was a feminist! If not for Zain playing him, right now I would throw a chair at his face. That is how pissed off I am with him! But even for Zain, I can't contain my full anger. I was telling my husband that Neil got custody of the kid and he is marrying that "B***h" and he laughed. (Yes I told him about the track and he thinks Neil has been wronged). I agree he has been wronged, but two wrongs never make a right!

THAT is why Prakash is not supporting him. He can see that the decision that Neil made was NOT in the best interest of his son. No matter how he justifies it, living with him 24/7 away from his Mother is not what his son needs. It's what HE needs! Yes Avni kept him all this time, but Avni was his prime caregiver and she knows what's best for him. The child is under 10 and very sensitive. Especially forcing Mithali on him is cruel. He just found out who his parents are and instead of them being together for his benefit, they got a divorce and the Father is remarrying and trying to bring him a Rental Mother! The worst part is, his Dad is still in love with his Mom. (Though closeted) and insisting on moving on...Pata nahi kyon, coz it looks like he is asking for more problems, not less! Stupidity at it's worst!

But I like your story. Sounds like a Mills & Boon story! LOL. Also I don't understand this "Bhoot" of Bollywood ending? I know it's a story based on a BW Movie Zakam? But since Bhatt sahab didn't come to direct the last episode, WHY do they have to make it a Bollywood ending and cheat us all of the scenes we wanted to see? Just pathetic. Beyond pathetic! Sorry for the rant. This has been building up for days! I have still not fully come to grips with the fact that this is the last week of the show!
[/QU Neil hasn't been thinking ...he's been acting impulsively and saying a lot of things he doesn't mean...but it's changing now since his anger is disappearing. And yes Avni told him that he took Mowgli as revenge towards her for the 10 years pain and also that it wasn't good for Mowgli..so Neil is coming to his senses and he gives Mowgli back to Avni because Avni has him with her in the last episode. Also he's made 1000 false promises to cheapdi that hes bound to. If you see the wedding olv he's miserable ...so his acting in haste has come back to bite him. BecAuse realistically speaking he should have taken time to digest Avni and mowglis arrival and not rushed about proposing and getting engaged And custody battle ..etc. but the writers made him vengeful and impulsive...very different from our old Neil...Even today I found it hard to find anything of the old Neil in him..😭😭
