Avni was wrong there is no two way about it. Yes, she was scared for life of her happy family & then her unborn child but still it does not justify the unintentional pain that it caused to the people involved. It does not justify the hiding of a son from his own father. Avni has lied to Neil, broken his trust in her. Avni has done every wrong thing with her life partner but she has never stopped loving him, she has always being loyal to him, she never moved on from him to other man no matter what circumstances she was facing, she always had only one man in her life & that is Neil Khanna. She has broken all the promises in her life but kept that one promise through out that Neil would be the only man in her life ever...But she took a decision 10 years back & have to live with it's consequences.
Neil is completely justified in being betrayed & not trusting Avni anymore. He has been grieving for 10 years for his supposed dead wife & suddenly she appears in front of him anyone would be angry in his place. He being angry & not able to get to terms with the truth of Avni betraying him is completely justified. He was suicidal at one point of time just to be with her & that says a lot why he feels what he is feeling right now. From what he knows Avni is not at all justified in hiding about her supposed death drama & then hiding his own baby from him for past 10 years. He has missed the initial beautiful phases of his baby's life all due to Avni's decision. No husband or father in Neil's place would forgive Avni easily from whatever half truth that Neil knows.
He choosing to move on from Avni to Mitali is also fine from his perspective. He believes that Mitali would give him that love, truthful & peaceful life which Avni failed to give him so he has decided to get engaged & married to her. He is now committed to Mitali for life, he himself has chosen this life ahead for him. He himself has chosen another woman in his life in place of Avni. He has taken a decision & have to live with it's consequences.
What happens when the complete truth is out...Everyone will know the reason why Avni did what she did. She was protecting her family fiercely from the devil by sacrificing her own happiness in the way. She took all the insult & hatred directed towards her but still protected the man who rightly deserve it. Neil has called Avni opportunist, manipulator & lots of name, will she be able to forgive him for thinking so low of her. Avni would be standing in the same place where she was, she would still have only one man in her life but that man is now committed to someone else. He has chosen to move on from her & now is engaged to someone else. He willingly wanted to give their son a new mother. Neil is man of words so he has to live up to what he has promised to Mitali. Even if Mitali backs out, will Avni be able to forget that Neil chose other woman to take her place in his life & heart? Will Neil be able to forgive Avni for all those painful 10 years? Will he be able to forgive Avni for hiding their son? Even if he or she forgive but will they be able to forget & get back with each other? If in reality, the answer will be NO. Avni & Neil will have to live with the consequences of their decisions. Some times love is not enough for a happy married life ever after, Neil & Avni are prime example of the same.
As AvNeil fan I want a happy ending for their love story but if I see it from story point of view I don't see any. I see them co-parenting Mowgli & living independently.
