Aditi's POV-

I could see Zain watching me from the corner of my eye. For the last three hours of shooting he had continuously tried to get my attention, but I wasn't having it. I felt weary of his constant insults and then meaningless apologies, he was merely another actor in the show, one I didnt need to talk to as Aditi, only while acting as Avni.

"Shoots over, take a break"
I looked down at my watch, maybe I could see if my phone was ready yet.
"Hey Aditi" I heard Zain call from behind me, I really didnt want to talk, so I decided to pretend to be oblivious
"Aditi, I know you can hear me" he called again, now slightly closer
I walked outside, shoving my hands in my pockets when I was span around fast

Zain's POV-

I was clueless as to how I had been completley ignorant to the fact that Aditi was the woman I had danced with. Now as her chest was pressed against mine, I wondered how I hadn't noticed that her body fit so well against mine.
She tried to release her arm from my grip and push my arm from around my waist, I couldn't help but smirk at the way her cheeks darkened in her anger at her failed attempts at getting away from me

"Listen to me and I will let you go"
"Dont you think you've done enough damage with your words, why should I listen now" her eyes lit with annoyance at me for not letting go. She huffed in frustration "Zain, I need to go and get my phone, please"
"What I said earlier, I didnt mean, at all, it was in the heat of the moment when I was worried that you were badly hurt"

She frowned, "If worrying about someone makes you this angry, I fear what you actually caring about someone would make you act like" she pulled away from me hesitantly and turned around.
She paused before walking away "Lets just agree to never talk to eachother unless necessary, it will cause less hassle and mean we can do our jobs properly"
"Im afraid, I cant agree"

She turned back so quickly to face me, I was sure the wind that flew my way as she whipped around nearly knocked me off my feet.
"What do you mean, you can't agree, why can't you agree"
"Because, im afraid, if I could only speak to you when it was necessary, I would be a little bored"
"Bored" she laughed, "I had no idea I interested you that much"

And, there it was. That fire in her eyes I had been longing to see, I enjoyed challenging her, irritating her, just to see that spark, because then she was the woman that danced with me, not the woman she acted like to hide who she really was. But why she hid it, I would never understand.
"Well, you do"

She gasped loudly, her mouth agape at my reply, clearly an unexpected one and I couldn't help the smile that made its way to my lips. She narrowed her eyes "How"
I shrugged "There's just something about you that pulls me in"
"Pulls you in" she squeaked "Well that isnt my intention, so if you would just"
"Let you go get your phone, of course, you seem desperate to talk to someone, maybe a special someone"
The blush on her cheeks was enough to let me know I was correct and with those last words, I walked away

Aditi was looking down while walking, muttering under her breath at Zain's weird change in behaviour "Manne samaj kon padhey" (I dont understand)
"Bak bak band karo" (Stop your chatter) replied Zain, as he stopped infront of her "And what were you saying anyway"
She raised her hand, biting her thumb nail, she let out a nervous laugh
"When I am nervous I speak Marwari, the language spoken in Rajasthan where I was born"

Zain smiled, stepping closer, he tipped her chin up, so her eyes met his "What's got you so nervous"
Without sparing any thought she replied "You"
"And why's that" he raised his right brow
"Uh, you, uh" she stuttered, unable to look away from the powerful eyelock they shared
"I guess, I just dont know why I interest you, im just plain old Aditi"
Zain was astonished "Plain old Aditi, I dont think so, there's so much more to you"

Aditi raised her head in surprise "How do you even know that"
He tapped his nose "Its a secret"
She was stood so close to him, she wasnt sure if it was her heart racing or his, though it was probably hers, she always got like this at the slightest compliment
He looked her up and down slowly "I like what you're wearing, it really suits you"
"I uh"
He chuckled softly "You're so cute when you go all shy"

"Im not shy" she retorted
"Hey" he raised his hands in mock surrender "Im not saying its a bad thing"
"So its a good thing" she asked
"Of course, but with that firey attitude of yours, it doesnt seem like you're the shy, sensitive type"
Aditi gulped, this was to much, he was to close and beggining to understand to much
"I have to go"
"Why" asked Zain

Without an answer she walked speedily away leaving a very confused Zain.
