Part 7-
2 Weeks Later-
Neil sat up in bed, his right leg up in the air, his face bruised, he smiled at Avni then grimaced
"You're an idiot, you know that, you are never drinking again" she spoke angrily, scowling at him
"God, you sound like my wife and we arent even married, im fine"
"Fine" she shouted "You could have died, you're lucky you got away with these injuries"
"My head hurts Avni, please stop shouting"
"Im going home" she muttered, standing up, she couldn't look at him like this anymore, it was to much
"Avni, stay please"
She turned back to face him, and her face crumpled
Tears rolling down her cheeks "I still hate you" she sniffed and sat back down
"Im okay Avni, honestly, im gonna get out of here soon, then we're gonna go back to before, we're gonna visit that couple and go on my radio station and you're going to admit your undying love for me" he winked
She had completley forgotten about their deal, she looked down
The majority of time had been taken up with him in a coma, yet her heart hurt more then, than it ever had when she caught her good for nothing ex cheating
There was no timescale on love, she knew that
But did she love him? Maybe.
Could she love him? Definitely.

"Avni, can you pass me the water"
"Avni, my nose is itchy"
"Avni, can you feed me"
"Avni, can you"
"Neil" Avni shouted, standing up "Please, you've been doing this all day"
He pouted "Well if you would talk to me, I wouldn't have to keep trying so hard to get your attention"
Avni felt bad straight away "Sorry, I just, I dont know why I wasnt talking, I had a lot on my mind"
"Oh, missing that jackass"
"What, no, of course not, im just worried about you" her eyes filled with tears
"Look Avni, if you keep crying for me, I might just think you love me already" he teased
"Oh shut up" she laughed, she pulled the blanket up against him
"A few more days Neil, then you're out of here, ill help you all I can"
He smiled "Guess i better say goodbye to winning that deal, I havent had enough time to charm you"
"You've done fine, you never know I might surprise you" she kissed his forehead and sat back down
"Goodnight Neil"
"Goodnight Jaan" he replied, his eyes closing
Avni smiled, her stomach jumped at his words

6 Days Later-
Avni pushed Neil's wheelchair into the studio, she pushed the brakes down and then sat down next to him
"Nervous" he asked
She shook her head "Nope, you"
"Haha, no of course not"
Neil pointed to the button "Just press it when you're ready to talk"
His heart was racing just worrying about what she would say
"Welcome to the radio station of love, today we speak to a friend of mine who is here to talk about her views on love" spoke Neil
Avni gulped, she pressed down the button "My views on love are, well, for a long time I thought I knew what love was, I was so sure I was in love with my ex fiancee, but then he cheated and it took me sometime to realise that I never really loved him, I just thought I did, I was in love with the idea of love"
Neil reached for her hand and squeezed it
"Then I met Neil, I was so angry with him, infact that I tried to knock him out with a bottle" she laughed
"We agreed he would have 30 days to make me love him, he took me on a date, a picnic but then we argued, he stuck up for me when my ex interfered and I was angry, anyway we found out my ex was going to have a party, so we went shopping to find something to wear and I spotted a thief, I chased him and Neil chased after me"
Neil chirped in "I told her it was a bad idea, but she didnt listen"
"We were surrounded, but managed to get away, we ran to the forest and I injured myself, we found a car, which Neil thought was a good escape route, I told him it was a bad idea, but he didnt listen"
Neil laughed
"We got stuck in the car ontop of a cliff, we managed to get out just before it fell and then while leaving the jungle we met a couple who allowed us to stay with them for the night till we could get home"
Neil laughed "We had to share a bed, she pretended she wasnt happy about it, but she was"
Avni rolled her eyes "Anyway, the next morning we danced with the little village because it was someones birthday and then we were taken home, we watched the sunset while eating ice cream"
She sighed "The next day was the party, my ex embarassed me infront of everyone by spreading malicious lies about me, but Neil stuck up for me"
"Then we kissed, dont forget that"
"Then we kissed" Avni repeated, her cheeks red
"We sat on a field and got drunk, we talked, we sang, we danced, then Neil had his accident" her voice broke, she coughed to hide it and looked away
"But the good news is, in a week ir two ill be out of this wheelchair" Neil replied
Avni nodded "So, I guess Neil made me believe that love does exist, we didnt get enough time, so I can sit here and say im madly in love with him"
Neil pulled his hand back, assuming the worst
She grabbed his hand "But I can say, that one day I will love him, because he truly is amazing, he's taught me so much and he reminded me that happiness is within my reach" she let go of the button and sighed
She pushed Neil's jaw up "Shut your mouth, you'll catch flys"
Neil raised a brow "So I won"
"Nooo, because I dont love you"
"You don't love me yet" he responded "I guess this is where I ask you if you want to be more than friends" he chuckled
She leant forward, pressing her lips to his "It would be my honour jaan" she winked
I know this story was short! But I only intended for it to be a short one, so I hope you guys enjoyed! Sorry the ending didnt end in a massive I love you, it just seemed better this way
