Part 3

Avni was sorting her clothes and Neil was trying to talk to her.It has been nearly 55 mins since Neela had left but he heard no word from Avni's mouth.Neil suddenly noticed a file from Parekh Industries and thought that Neela had forgot it but than also thought that maybe Avni was working on it.Neil decided to start talking.

Neil-What did you do in New York ?

Avni (glaring in Neil's direction)-What is it to you ?

Neil-Come on Avni I am trying !

Avni (calmly)-Fine I attended my College reunion.Met my best friend Malvika Talvar and cried through rest of my trip.Ok Happy.

Neil (Trying to turn her shoulders)-Avni for once look at me.

Avni (Jerks his hand)-Donot touch me right no ACP Neil Khanna.Do you understand.

Neil-Avni I am really very very sorry for what happened.I just panicked hearing Juhi had committed suicide.It was after I had reached the hospital it dawned on me what I had done.

Avni (strongly)-Do you still love her Neil ? Because what you did it seems like you still love her.

Neil (angrily holding her shoulder)-Avni never question my love.I would never do that with you.I love you.It was just a case.

Avni-No Neil it is not just a case.It is your ex-girlfriend's case.Had it been any other case I would have let you go.But this is a huge mess.Remember since Juhi has came how many times have we sat together or talk to each other.Infact we have been fighting more and more.Do you think all this is normal case ?

Neil-Avni come on we fight.Everybody knows we fight.And we make up as well.

Avni (angrily)-You had absolutely no concentration that 2 weeks.You and Mom had huge fight because she refused to keep juhi at house and you got angry.You had no attention on me or the family.You know what go back to Juhi that would be more better for all of us.

Neil (shouting)-What the hell are you talking about ??

Avni (angrily shouting)-You know Neil before you came along I was absolutely fine.No love No Man in life.(And now in tears) But than you messed up my brain and now I am so heart broken I cant think of anything except that day.

Neil (Trying to hold Avni)-Shh Avni calm down relax.

Avni (Jerking his hand angrily)-Dont touch me.You broke my heart !!

Maybe tumhe mere saath rehne ke liye mujhe sab se pehle suicide commit karni chaiye maybe that would grab your attention.Right ACP Neil Khanna !! Because aaj kal suicide tumhare liye bahut matter karta hai.

Neil (Angrily)-AVNI !!

Avni-Why what happened ? Felt bad.Did it hurt ??A Pinch in heart maybe.That's how I felt.

Neil (Pulling her near him)-Never ever talk about dying Avni Ayesha Khanna.You want to punish me fine.Do that.But never talk about dying.

Avni-Get Out of the house !!

Neil-Avn...

Avni-Out !!!

Avni-I am his wife Juhi.Agar next time mere husband ke aas paas kahi dikhi mujhe toh mujh se boora koi nahi hoga.Aab tak tumne sirf Avni Ayesha ko dekha hai jo tumhe bachane aayi thi tum aab tak Avni Ayesha Khanna se nahi mili ho.

Short chapter but as always very very well written. I really feel for Avni... I feel neil needs to do something special to make her see that he has truly moved on from chuhi...am not sure what he can do but I understand avni's heartbreak and inability to forget everything...the precap makes me as frustrated n angry as Avni must be to see chuhi in her house! Guess it will only make Avni feel worse although she is haq jataofying on Neil by addressing herself as Avni Ayesha Khanna...

Neil needs to realise how terrible Avni must have felt to be left standing at the altar like Ayesha had been left by Ashish...his actions have really cut her deep...so sad n heartbreaking for her.

Firstly, let me just say that I thoroughly enjoyed this update. I think nowadays, in most shows, women are shown as the "mahaan aurat" types who end up sacrificing their love for something or someone else. I think what you've shown here is a very realistic reaction that any woman would have if her husband's ex returned to his life and he started behaving like that... I want to see a strong Avni that fights for her husband and not just gives him up😳

Yes Neil needs to realize what he has done is monstrous and he will soon know that he has opened her old wounds.
