Filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt wowed one and all when he presented the TV show, Naamkarann which tackled an unusual concept initially.
And after having the show rolling and flagged off, the director took a backseat except visiting the sets on specific occasions.
However, it is being said that the makers have approached Mahesh Sir to return to direct the upcoming sequences of the show.
The current scenes in the show involve a lot of jail sequences and Mahesh Sir has been called in to share his insights on the same.
This is also because these sequences will be on the lines of the director's Gumrah which starred Sanjay Dutt and Sridevi back in 1993.
