Avni had ran down the stairs away from Neil
She didnt know how to answer what he had asked

Hearing footsteps behind her, she slammed the elevator button, tapping her foot
Finally it opened
Sliding in she pressed the button to close it

Neil's hands pushed the doors back open and he slid in
Avni continued to try and push it


The lift doors close as it jolted to the side
Avni fell into Neil
"Didnt you say everything happens for a reason"

That was true
She had said that
She nodded, pulling away from him

"Then maybe this is a sign, to give me one more chance, im not asking for your love, just one chance to prove I can be different, if it doesnt work, fine I wont even ask for your friendship"

Avni thought for a while
"So youll take any chance I give, even if its just friendship"
No, that was not part of the deal

But they had started as friends before
Surely he could move it forward

He nodded
She put out her hand
"Cheers to friendship Mr Khanna"

He shook her hand, his warm hand sending tingles down her skin

"But remember one thing, youre on thin ice, one mistake and you never bother me again"
Neil nodded
"There wont be any mistakes"

Avni nodded
The lift jolted again, sending Avni into Neil

Without realising, in order to save herself, she had grabbed at anything she could
She paused as her hand hit something in his pocket

Picking it out, she looked at the charm she had given to him the first day they had become friends

She couldnt believe he still had it
Her eyes filled with tears as she pulled back

"Avni"
"Just dont"

Standing on her tiptoes she pressed a kiss to the corner of his lips
Then as the lift doors opened
She was gone

Like she had never been there
Never kissed him
But she had
He could still feel her lips near his
Her body pressed against his

"Avni, Avni wait"
Neil ran after her, grabbing her, he pulled her into the room

"What happened in the elevator was a mistake Mr Khanna"
"You cant seriously mean that"

"Well I do"
She closed her eyes as she took a deep breath

"I need time, please"
"Ill give you all the time in the world"
She nodded greatfully
"Look we have that meeting"

Neil nodded, following her to the meeting room
He sat down at the head of the table

Avni stood in a tight black skirt
He watched as the men looked at her as she bent over passing out the files

His fists clenched
"Avni"
She looked up and walked toward him
"Sit here"
"But"

His glare stopped her and she sat down
Neil grabbed her chair and pulled it closer

It was a show to the rest of his clients
She was his
Avni huffed, Neil had always been possesive
Except this time, she liked it

The men looked away
Neil was not a man either wanted to mess with

Avni watched at the way Neil changed when he spoke about his work, how passionate he was
It was nice to see him in this light

Smiling up at him, he grinned back
Maybe things had changed, maybe he did deserve another chance

As the clients dispersed Avni stood up
"I have to go, to get ready for the party, will you be there"
He nodded

"Ill see you then"
She walked to the door

Stopping when he called her name
"Thank you"
She smiled

"No problem Mr Khanna"
Neil sat back in his chair

He knew this would take time but he wouldn't give up

Neil walked into the party, his eyes fell on Avni stood next to Ali, this just would not do

Turning to his secretary he smiled, "Tell Ali I need that file tonight"
She smiled knowingly before approaching him

Ali apologised to Avni and made his way out of the party
Avni looked toward him raising her eyebrow

Brushing her arm against his she smiled
"Jealous man arent you"
Neil grabbed her, spinning her back into him

"God, you smell so good"
Avni smiled "Its all natural"
Neil's eyes darkened
"Youre really teasing me Avni"

"Oh I know"
His hand went to her waist, but she pulled it away
"No touching Mr Khanna, were in the workplace"

Neil looked on flabbergasted at her attitude
This Avni was daring, he liked it

Avni knocked her glass against his
"To new beginnings "
He nodded
"I want nothing more than to ravish you right now Avni"

"Mr Khanna, I believe you are drunk and relations with employees is strictly"
Then she paused kissing his neck
"Against"
She bit into his neck
"Policy"

"f**k policy" he muttered, nearing her
She backed away
"Not that easy Mr Khanna, take this as bittersweet revenge"
He rolled his eyes back in pleasure at her assault on his neck

"For what"
Running her nail across his wrist she smiled
"For ever thinking I cheated on you"

Stamping her foot onto his, she poked her tounge out
"Catch me if you can Mr Khanna"

Avni backed away, making her way up the stairs of the hotel, she didnt even have to look back to know he was following her

Arriving in a room, Avni led on the bed
"So, ravish me Mr Khanna"

Kicking the door shut with his foot, he pulled his tie loose, pulled it over his neck and pulled his blazer and shirt off

As Neil neared her, she tugged at his earlobe with her teeth
"I have no underwear on, and im so wet for you, as my boss I think you need to deal with it, as a matter of urgency"

He let out a low growl before leaning ovee her
Her hand pushed against his chest
"But be gentle, its my first time"

Neil smiled, happy no one else had touched her and had her the only way he should

And as the night went on, Avni was treated to many 'firsts' with Mr Khanna.


Apologies for no updates over the past 2 days, I had a lot of revision to do for an exam I have tomorrow
So I wrote this and one other part for each other story I had, (I have 6) at 1am in the morning, saturday!

Wish me luck on my exam! If I pass I will update, if not then I probably wont
I have tried to keep all my stories I have updated today as joyous as possible because I have kept you all waiting.

Avni awoke to see that Neil had gone.
Her eyes stung, had Neil had his way with her then left?

Standing up, she pulled some clothes on.
She couldnt believe she had fell for Neil's charm yet again.
It was her mistake, her stupidity

For ever believing Neil had changed
He was that same boy from college who only wanted one thing
The difference was, that now he had got it.

The door opening made her jump
Neil placed the breakfast down on the table
Standing up again

He looked at Avni's swollen red eyes and tear stained cheeks
"Avni, have you been crying"

"I thought you left" her voice broke
"Avni" Neil whispered, shocked

Walking over to her, he cupped her cheek, the pulled her to him
His hand was in her hair massaging her scalp

"I know its hard to trust me Avni, but I would never purposely hurt you or do anything to break your trust"
Avni smiled tearfully

"I do trust you, its just"
"I know, I know, its okay you dont have to explain"
Then wriggling his eyebrows he smirked

"Besides, did you really think after how utterly amazing last night was that I would leave and ruin my chances of ever doing it with you again"
"Neil" Avni admonished slapping his shoulder


"What, is it not true"
"Im not answering that"
"Does that mean yes"
"It means no"

Neil gasped "That was very very rude"
Avni poked her tounge out before running into the bathroom

"Wait till you get out here woman"
Neil smiled at Avni's laugh, echoing from the bathroom

"Want to save water and shower together"
Neil asked jokingly
He had already showered earlier and wasnt expecting Avni to say yes

He was very surpised
When she opened the door and beckoned him inside
He was a smart man

He wouldnt decline the offer
