how are the rights of any IPS officer being affected if Neil gets promoted to DCP. I don't understand what was so offensive about it that people have to bring up legal notices or write mails to star plus. take a chill pill omg.

i have read that article.

this is a simplified version of what that article says.

Promotions and ranks that you will get after completing a fix duration of your service : When you will join then you will be a fresher as junior scale officer in this department and your promotion depends on your hard work and activities that you will perform while being in job and ranks are following that you may get after becoming IPS Officer in India :

>> Junior Time Scale - Assistant Commissioner of Police
>> Senior Time Scale - Deputy Commissioner of Police/ Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police
>> Junior Administrative Grade - Senior Superintendent of Police/ DCP/ ADCP
>> Selection Grade - Senior Deputy Commissioner of Police if get post in selection grade
>> Super Time Scale - Additional Commissioner of Police
>> Super Time Scale - Senior Administrative Grade - Joint Commissioner of Police
>> Above Super Time Scale - Special Commissioner of Police
>> Above Super Time Scale - Apex - Commissioner of Police ( State)

as i said the names can vary a little bit from state to state

this is genuinely so annoying and bothersome. It's just a frickin show??? it is not violating the rights of anybody?? why make such a hue and cry over absolutely nothing. there have been so many more illogical things happening in nk, how is this even an issue.
and before people come at me with pitchforks, I also belong to a family of IPS officers and this still remains inoffensive to me.

yes i have my own family members in IAS and have seen them constantly working with IPS officers.
You probably know more about the IPS ranking.

But yes it is very annoying how this whole issue has been taken up.
this is just fiction.
In reality these IAS and IPS officers especially in their initial careers when they are posted in the fields work very hard and have lot of risks to their lives.

So why didn't they get the ranking right in the first place? Can someone be promoted for arresting his wife? Lol

Anyways, what's he going to be now? SSP?

SSP is a big way to go .
DCP is the next post .
I was laughing when they edited DCP as IPS Neil . Never thought this thing will become an issue that they will raise a petition and promo will be edited / taken off by SP .

Actually it looked a bit odd when Vidyut congratulated him . The news was for promotion right 😆
