It is a heart-wrenching episode and how!
Neela is the only person Neil confides in, telling her what Vidyut has proposed. Vidyut calls up Neil again and tells him, I want ''my'' Avni. Don't worry, I will treat her like a Queen. In fact, I would make a palace on her name. Just imagine IPC 302 charges would ruin her so much, she would have to stay with bad company, etc.
Neil is all riled up and in a fit of rage takes his gun and wants to go kill Vidyut right away. Neela tries to stop, but he is a bundle of rage, so she has to slap him to stop him.
Ali and Avni conclude that the latter is badly trapped by Vidyut and they figure out chronologically that she was set up.
Avni comes up with one solution: And that is to run away, because in her words, Neil would break down if he has to arrest her and she can't put him in that misery. So she decides to flee.
A broken Neil asks Neela only one thing. Only if ''she'' gives her permission, he would go ahead with what he thinks is the only way of saving Avni (which is to arrest her). An inconsolable Neela says yes.
So, yeah. It's only Neela and Neil in this.

From the cliff confrontation, Avni feels Neil has doubts on her, so in their bedroom she is ready with the polygraph test. A rather aloof looking Neil comes and she says I just want to prove my innocence to you.
Your heart would go out for this girl, who wants nothing but Neil to trust her, but the guy is so broken from inside, that he has put on a stern face to conceal it.
He says, he wants something else from her, since he wants his birthday to end on a happy note and asks her to close her eyes.
When she opens her eyes, the polygraph equipment is gone and on the table lies sindoor, a new mangalsutra, and the waistband that Bebe had asked Neil to make her wear.
It is a beautiful scene, and the one from the spoiler pics.
They share a beautiful intimate moment, which we all need to reminisce for a long long time now, since after this an AvNeil intimate moment will come god knows when.
He makes her wear the new mangalsutra and for a reason of his own, keeps her original mangalsutra with himself.
(Maybe after leap, it will be her relic for him to cherish)

With each kiss, he tells her, how they could have lived a normal, simple married life. But it was his fault that he let his past take a toll on his present, all because of Juhi. (yes Neil, der aaye durust aaye!)
He also tells her, that it is him who loves her the most.
This was a very cute side to Neil I believe, where he knows other vile men are eyeing his wifey, an so, he gives her his own testimony like a child, that I am the one who loves you the MOST!
In his words, ''Main tumse sabse zyada pyaar karta hun. Aur sabse zyada hurt bhi tumhe main hi karta hun.''
They both lie down on the bed, Avni is tired, she cuddles close to Neil, but a rather helpless Neil withdraws himself, and says to himself, that what I am going to do, maybe you will hate me Avni, but I will love you and only you.
When he is gone, Avni says, no matter where we are, I will always be yours. I can love only you!

DD discloses about Avni 's prior plan B to escape with Mishti to Neil, saying it would have come out during investigation anyway so he chose to inform him beforehand.
Neil gets upset hearing this.
Vidyut calls him up again and says, I am wondering which car should I come in, since I am going to get my Avni!
Neil acts with him like he is actually giving Avni to him.
Vidyut guys, has actually turned full on Avni ka deewana.
He is desperately waiting outside Khanna Mansion to take Avni and says, I am sure Neil would make this sacrifice in exchange of her freedom.
Avni and Ali try to escape but the precap from yesterday plays.
I don't want to write much on this because I am still reeling in the meloncholy of it.
He wipes off her sindoor first.
Then takes off her mangalsutra.
He arrests her, shocking the hell out of entire Khanna Family and Vidyut, of course.
You can see the agony in his eyes, but his words defy it as he looks stone-hearted, and Avni looks like her reason of existence itself doesn't exist anymore.
Precap showcases a glimpse into the leap, where Avni is in the prison, in the yellow outfit that we had all seen the supposed new entry wear. She is beating up a girl right left center, and Neil sees this, and stops her.
She is a bundle of adrenaline, while he is a force to be reckoned with.
Their clash is magnetic and massive, both at the same time.
Avni doesn't look like Avni anymore. She is only Ananya Verma.
And I am putting a dollar on this, she will try by all means to escape from jail.
Her misunderstanding on Neil looks way bigger than we had possibly thought.
This is an episode that leaves a damn deep mark.
Good and bad both.
So brace yourselves.
