Only dragon can cum up with such posts😆 interesting actually😉
It's difficult to identify flaws in Neil but yes I have one or two
He used to call Avni criminal
No Matter wat he was always like rhea ki koi galti nahi hai..
These two taughts were totally wrong and equally dumb...he failed to identify both of thm Avni is not criminal and rhea is not bechari she is a criminal actually..he realised tht now

Its interesting actually and since Neil is not like those typical psycho, man-handlers, he kind of is flawless. Maybe being flawless is a flaw!🤔
While writing, I thought for about five minutes and I didn't find any problem with him that would ring alarms. Maybe since Avni was the one with issues and flaws, they had to make Neil flawless.
Its not realistic. He should have some short comings..

I think the one flaw he has is his strict law-abiding, go-by-the-book approach. At times he can become too fixated on following things through in a 'lawful' way, which isn't necessarily bad, but he tends to lack understanding towards a person, where abiding by the law may not be best suited to a person's situation. He sees things as either right or wrong, lawful or unlawful, good and bad, but at times fails to understand that there may come a situation where doing the right thing may not be an option, or the best option, as a person's situation can force them to take a middle route that, although isn't a route treaded on with wrong intentions by any means, in practise it can seem to be the wrong solution to a problem, but necessary. He's basically a loyal and almost blind follower of the law and rule books, who often can't seem to see the flaws in those laws/ rules, so judges a person who he feels may not be abiding by them laws.

I think one of Neil's flaws was that sometimes in his "Not doing injustice" to anyone chakkar, he was not identifying the reality of a situation. Like the whole Rhea thing. Ali kept telling him her family were lousy and not to marry into that family. But did he listen? No. It's not Rhea's fault her family is not good etc was his stance. Also being in the Police he did not listen to Ali's experience with that family and them being criminals. (Because hey...there is NO evidence to support it). Yes Ali didn't have evidence, but is he insane to say all this if it's not true? Being in the Police he should realise there is such a thing as corruption and people can hide their crimes if they wish which is what Daya was doing.

Rhea was a selfish Bimbo, but she was not really a bad person, and this was also a business deal. Neil was OK with this marriage coz after Juhi he thought that he could not fall in love again, so why not do an arranged marriage? He was SO naive to think he was the kind of person who can live in a loveless marriage and still be fine. He was so not seeing things for the way they were and how eventually he would have been unhappy with Rhea anyway. But maybe he saw his parents compromise in their marriage and didn't think this was an issue. But Shweta and Prakash do love each other I think?

Then came Ananya / Avni into Neil's life and he was suddenly totally obsessed with a stranger. He didn't realise this obsession was more personal than professional and continued to pretend his interest in her was all coz he thinks she "May" be a criminal? Like seriously? LOL. I used to laugh at his self-talks about how Avni is someone who's hiding something (which was true) and that is ALL he cared about and that's why he was pursuing her. Totally willfully blind to his actual feelings. He was totally "Into" her from day 1 and that was really the actual reason he was chasing her. But admitting it to himself was more than ACP Neil Khanna could handle, so he just kept lying to himself. He had the "Rare" occasion (like the shower scene) where he told himself "She's a criminal Neil, you can't empathise with her". What he was Actually saying to himself was "She may be a criminal Neil...You can't fall in love with her!". But he didn't want to voice it.

Since I am a keen observer of Neil, I have seen all these flaws in him. Yes he is an ideal guy in many ways. But he is not by any means perfect. He also has flaws and the biggest one is not wanting to accept some truths about himself and his feelings which he likes to keep hidden, or should we say "Prefers" not to confront. One reason may be his guilt over Juhi and possibly moving on. I think he IS over that. But it has not been explored. The day Neil Khanna says to himself "I am in love with Avni and it's perfectly OK to be so!" then that's the day he has come out of his biggest flaw his "Denial mode!".

Hope you have some answers to give your friend now! 😉

Yes he is Inspector Jervais of Les Miserable sometimes. A follower of the Rule Book. But what Neil fails to understand is that not everyone who breaks the law is a "Criminal". Intent plays a big part in a person's actions. Even Case 123 is a Robin Hood, a Vigilante. She steals from corrupt politicians and gives to anyone she feels needs the money. Like the hospital. I think she may have robbed banks too. But whatever it is, she didn't do it for profit. Yes she broke the law but not with criminal intent.

One day, I hope Neil realises this, just like Jervais realised that Jean Val Jean is not a criminal. He broke the law, but he was compelled to do so.

Ananya was playing DVM and her family not coz she was a bad person who wanted to bring them down. But she was trying to get justice. For that she and both Neela took foul means and even broke the law. They impersonated and even played games with the press etc. But they did it ALL for a good reason. So you cant just say "Wrong is wrong" and be done with it. Not all things are black and white, Grey is a valid shade too!

Totally agree ... but the major flaw iis when such law-abiding Neil made a decision to have a fake marriage with Rhea to expose dayawanti... he supports it by telling that the mantras by Pandit will be wrong ...but being a ASP himself he should have known that it's not valid reason to annul a marriage which happened in presence of lots of people... but I will blame this flaw on CV's than on Neil😊. Otherwise for me Neil is a prefect Gentleman who know how to respect everyone...giving space to all
