CHAPTER 10

AVNI POV

It was four in morning and I just wanted a mattress to drop down but Ash had it easy cuddled in my arms sound asleep not a care of world,

We arrived at the airport and the driver opened the door for me as we exited the car, he retrieved our luggage from back and wheeled it to see us off.

"Ma'am your flight has been already announced. You just have to walk through the doors."

"Thank you. Tim we woke you up so early just to drive."

"Not a problem ma'am I had to see off Ash. Here let me help you with the luggage." And we walked the gate to get seated in plane as our luggage was handled.

Perks of being rich, you can get first class luxury in travel.

I settled Ash in his seat who was fast asleep but mera chaine toh odh gaya tha.

Ja rahi thi wahi, jahan sab chhodakar aayi thi, I was breaking inside out to face a certain police officer who I loved till now but now our situation and conditions were way different. He loved Rhea and maybe was happy with her. I had Ashneel who I loved and when it comes between two. Ash always comes first. Always.

My mind was going haywire I was considering all scenarios.

To confront him but no, then maybe meet Neela ma and papa ji but no they would try to convince me to stay.

Then maybe I should meet Ali and that was a obvious no he would ask question whom answers I don't want to give and go caring to obsessive which was annoying.

Then came Nanno and Bebe, pata nahi Kya soch ti hogi Bebe mere bare me nahi kar sakti face unhe aur Nanno woh nahi ye situation handle kar paaye gee she would burst thinking of Ayesha ma and my life similarities.

I should go meet Aman he should be all grown up in college, in last year of his course. But what if he too didn't see my situation and do something rash.

Only option that came to do things smoothly without disturbing Ash childhood in drama was to go quietly and do things there without any meeting from relatives, a quick go come and go from Mumbai. Resuming our previous lives without any interference and burdens.

The flight landed and it was 6 pm in Mumbai. Ash was jumping holding my hand and I was exhausted but he slept on the whole flight and I thought the whole flight plus jet lagged I was ready to drop.

But entering the terminal from runway, all memories flooded my mind.

Ironic it was the gate no.2 from which I exited my previous life and turned my back on someone specific was now our gate to enter this city.

I could see him again in my mind running toward me desperate for me to stay, shouting wait. But no that gate I turned cold to him then and will turn back cold from it now too.

We spotted a suited man with sign of my name on it. Seriously people who does that it was announcing my come back and for people observing information to know.

We walked to him and he greeted us very warmly and took our luggage and opened the door to the car.

The ride was silent mostly except Ash occasional ohhs and ahhs staring at the monuments in the sunset light and chatter of plans to visit them.

We arrived at company's hotel and found our suite.

I busied Ash in his favorite remote control game on the LED in the bedroom and took a power nap on bed in the background sounds of Ash cheer and game to face Mumbai preparing myself what comes tomorrow.

FINALLY. AVNI AND ASH is here in our city MUMBAI. Coming update will lead us to some anticipated confrontations.
