In previous episode Prakash, Neil's father had signed on agreement. But the way he took the snacks to eat seems that he is pretending to be rich so that he can get daughter in law from wealthy family (unaware of Mehta family financial condition ). I feel that Daya has over estimated Khanna family status.

I think you missed the part when the man said that it is because of her (daya) that he is now this wealthy and owes it all to her, Meaning daya did favours on people like him and that guy working in the bank who came and gave her mortgaged jewellery to her, who got the job in the bank because of her, and helped prakash become rich, but now that she is going bankrupt, which he has no idea about, she wants to use him to get back her financial stability.

The family is rich but yeah the way Neils mum and father act...its hard to tell they are indeed rich.

I think that food scene was there just for laughs

Daya has done her home work, she's found the richest family for her debt problem, I only hope the deal falls through some how and she is embarrassed in public and the truth of her debt comes out.

I think Prakash and his wife are very careful with money; they didn't have much money when they got married and now that there son is getting married mum want to splash out a bit, the sad think is daya is using them as a deal, hope Avni saves the day
