Today's Epi: Viren raises the hackles of a Naagin!

Hey everyone! 😊

I liked that today's episode was fast-paced. I think this being a weekly show has spared us from all the 'dragging' that happens on daily soaps and I'm happy with the show's pace, though I was waiting to watch Shivanya wipe the floor with Viren.

I missed the first 15 mins of the episode, so I might miss something.

Viren&RiVanya- Viren is a sleazeball of the highest order and his wife is a bimbette. What a match, really. It was Shivanya who led Rithik to Viren being the thief which I thought was a cool thing. I don't think Rithik should have let him off so easily, but I can understand the filial sentiment which made him do so. One thing I have to say is, I think the writers should get Tanvi out of the picture as soon as possible, 'cause personally, it makes me uncomfortable to watch Rithink making googly eyes at Shivanya while being engaged to Tanvi. It's not right.

Next came the scene where Viren tried to molest Shivanya. 🤢🤢 More than Sesha and Shivanya, this man seems to be metaphorical Nag who preys on innocents. Rithik saved Shivanya from him and I really liked the scene where he hugged her and Shivanya's eyes were a mixture of conflict, pain and anger. I think Mouni portrayed her anguish and also her confusion at Rithik's gesture very well. 👍🏼

Viren vs Shivanya- I was actually hoping that Shivanya would go for the kill today itself, but shucks, that didn't happen. Viren was just at the brink of drawing out Shivanya's Naagin. They are portraying Shivanya as the righteous, wronged Naagin, which is a bit disappointing, 'cause I was hoping Shivanya would be truly hellbent on revenge and kind of evil. At the moment, she is an antihero and the writers are making sure we are sympathising with her. I wanted to see Mouni play a negative character and also a slightly hatke story. The story will be slightly stale now- same old good vs evil.

One BIG MINUS was the total absence of Sesha. 👎🏼 She was the one who was adding spice to the show and the writers totally omitted her out of today's episode. IMO, she is the most powerful character on the show and I don't wanna see Adaa underutilised like this. I was hoping that Sesha would be as important a character as RiVanya. Without her, it just seems like a standard EK show and not a supernatural drama. Hope the writers introduce her backstory in the coming episodes and keep her at the forefront. Sesha is the more menacing of the two Naagins, so she needs to be there. Shivanya is soon gonna bet bitten by the love bug, so Sesha should balance it out.

Mainly, I wanna see two vengeful Naagins and hopefully a different story where the Naagins win. 😆

adaa was in negativee role in amrit manthan..shws r mainly belong to main leads but even if some bdy tlk abt amrit manthan today than adaa name come first...she is known as central chrctr for any shw she did but i dont knw y ekta is doing such blunder. adaa has more potential to rock naagin chrctr..nw ths shw is typical love story...girl has so many powers but still she need man to savee her...coming soon it will b SaaS bahu saga..when yamini vl turn negative

Definitley. Adaa is a star performer and I wanna see more of her. Adaa's performance really hooks you in. Even I rooted for her in Amrit Manthan despite her being the antagonist. As you said, she had the most impact. I hope today's episode was an anomaly and Adaa is not sidelined like this later.

@bold- God, I hope she doesn't turn this into a Yamini vs Shivanya Bahu show. NOOO! It would be better if RiVanya don't get married, 'cause I won't be able to stomach Tanvi and Yamini plotting against Shivanya. Let this be a supernatural show. We already have a supernatural saas-bahu show in the form of YHM.

i also want shivanya to be a bit negative and hateful. she is the main naagin na who was wronged by this people. she lost her parent's that should set her in fire. i don't like this softy type at all, if sesha is going to be sidelined then i want shivanyan to step up and create havoc. i am bored with those good vs. evil nonsense and i have said it before i want something totally different and surprising shock me but i think i will be in disappointment🤔 i was looking forward to SeVa scene but it was not up to mark either it looks like they are not even friends nor sister sesha nor shivanya interacted with each other nor give a small hug they are like in a mission separately which is not cool. i wanted them to fight this people hand in hand ( sesha helped shivanya to get back to the mansion but they didn't give each other sly smile or wink for their victory👎🏼)

i want to see more sesha b/c she makes me feel goosebumps to core. sesha has varity of shades she is dame amazing. she can be good but she can be very very bad which i like the mostshe is vengful poison to core.

At least at the beginning, Shivanya should have that bite to her character. She can soften up to Rithik later but she doesn't have the edge of a Naagin right now. She still looks like the little girl who is searching for justice in this cruel world. I guess that's her character brief, but it would have been nice to see something different from Naagin. This being a limited weekly show, there is loads of potential to do something different that totally chills the viewers. Instead, they are taking the same good vs evil path which is done in EVERY single show.

SeVa scenes- Yes, there should have been more of a bond between them, after all, they are united in vengeance. Wanted to see sisterhood between them. Right now, they just seem like two disparate elements connected to Rithik, but disconnected from each other.

Sesha- Yaar, you described her perfectly. ⭐️ I feel Sesha can be such a complex character and I wanna see her tortured journey.

yes she should have more like i want to see that till end. i want to see her blood thirsty for her revenge for her parent's.

i was so looking forward to this but it left me with sadness. i wanted to see them work side by side rather then lovey dovey stuff i am seeing this show for revenge love can happen but revenge is and has to be highlight of it all. i want them to connect with each other more. mouni and adaa are very good actress so i want their interaction more.

sesha is the dark bueaty of all, she brings the show to a different level. she does not believe in mercy at all and i want to see her love story and her backstory to, cvs better not screw it up😡

Yes that is true. Shivanya doesn't have the menace that Sesha has. That's probably because the CVs wanna portray Shivanya as the wager of a war against injustice while Sesha is supposed to be more cold and vengeful. Shivanya did seem a bit cornered, 'cause I don't think she is as ferocious as Sesha is. She is not as bloodthirsty as her, unfortunately. 😒 Plus, I guess they didn't show Shivanya like that, 'cause they needed to bring Rithik in to intensify their love story. If she dealt with Viren on her own, there would be nothing for Naagin Lover Rithik to do. 😆
