We punjabis do it the money way, take some money, do that round around the head stuff *you must have seen it in movies* then throw the money away... technically not throw...workers etc pick it up!!

But I've seen people do the round around head thingi with dried chilli and burn it to ward off the nazar..

We do the money thing but not around the head- we just give it to charity and make it clear what the intention is. I have seen the chilli one my maasi does it sometimes on me. And I am like babe trust me I am ok.
