As usual ahmazing update...ik i said I'll comment by night but i got busy somewhere!!😬

Sooo drunk bani huh...reminds of the episode where she danced on kamli..but with added bonus of bani really being drunk and drunkenly talking about her feeling for her patidev. That whole chapter is my favourite and very honestly I've read it thrice now!!😳 The way she's all gone into this seductive mode and for once veeranshu singhania is at loss because he so badly wants to let go of his iron tight control and devour his wife but alas..morals and ethics!!😂

Coming to markaat, jai really is b**tard. Bani should not have been so lenient with him.. dhaabevale really needs a good thrashing.

Suryash sweety, earlier you underestimated bani's strength and care for veer and now you're literally underestimating their love and this very literal fact that bani's priorities might just be a little different than what you're assuming. After all she might be adi naagin but she is also a wife. Why would you think that just to prove to some old ass naag naagins she would insult her marriage vows!!!🤪

I really hope that Bani doesn't let Markaat's Extreme stupid plan workout. This time i want bani to be the sharp tool in the shed and be like uh.. what's goin on?? Ye konsa raita hai be?? And sort everything thing out even if she has to do that by sheer show of strength in the naaglok.

Chapter 45

Bani groaned as her head throbbed terribly in the morning.

“Aaahhh….” She complained, holding her head in her arms as she walked up towards the dining table. Before Bani could pull a chair to sit, she was picked up in arms.

“Veeranshu…” She almost complained as he picked her up in his arms as he came running into the house. Just a millisecond after Veer, Sam came up. “Yeh kya hai?” She demanded.

“Kya? Apni biwi ko aise utha nahi sakta kya?” Veer asked her. “Waise, good morning, gharwali.”

The regular schedule of the boys to go for exercise before sunrise was on track. Ponky and Daksh were groaning as they showed up after Tapish.

“Veer bhai, aaj toh first day hai, thoda sa chutti de dete.” Ponky complained.

“Exactly. Aaj Day 1 hai saal ka, saalon. And what better way to start it then making sure you idiots on are schedule. Kaafi sustaane lage ho aaj kal. Jaao Shukla ko check karke aao.” Veer told his brothers. They knew well that they’re going to get their side of punishment for getting Bani crazy drunk last night.

“Aaahhh…” Bani complained with headache. Veer sat on a chair and made Bani sit on his lap. She put her head on his shoulder groaning in pain. “Aisa lag raha hai ki sar phat raha hai mera.”

“Hangover bolte hai, sweetheart. Abh jitni handle hoti hai usse itna zyaada piyogi toh hangover bhi utna hi hoga.” He teased her with chuckle.

“Bani bitiya, aap chai pi lijiye. Thoda sa better lagega.” Ramesh kaka set a hot ginger tea before her. Bani started sipping the tea. Tapish passed her a table.

“Kuch kha lo phir tablet le lena. It will help the hangover a bit.”

“Thank you, Tapish bhai.”

He chuckled at her. Balwant and Pawan showed up at the table soon enough. His eyes fell on Bani who was sitting on Veer’s lap. He hadn’t imagined to see Adi-Naagin in this form. Bani was sitting there on Veer's lap, wearing his t-shirt as a dress with bed slippers. Veer’s one arm resting on her thighs and other around her waist. They looked like a couple so much like that. She didn't seem to complain about sitting on his lap. Balwant couldn't relate her to the same Nageshwari who killed Aakesh.

“Aapka breakfast.” Ramesh kaka set her breakfast. The entire Singhania Family had to admit this. Before, Ramesh kaka’s eternal favourite was Tapish Singhania. Now Bani had seemed to taken the same level as Tapish. That said a lot because Ramesh kaka had seen Tapish grow up. He had worked for Singhanias for long. They knew that the family were icchadhari cheel and kept it to himself. The man held affection for the boys whom he had seen growing up before his eyes. But Bani, in her short time span, had become his favourite.

“Thank you, kaka.” Bani smiled at him. Or maybe it was the way Bani herself treated the man. He felt affectionate towards her. “Waise, aapki chai na magic hai. Main bol rahi hun.”

He chuckled.

“Yeh toh kaka ki speciality hai. Pure ghar ke logo ke hangover ko theek karne waali chai hai inki.” Tapish added. Veer opened his flask and Bani took it away.

“Ise toh mere saamne bhi mat lana. Mera sar dard badh jaata hai.” She complained.

“Excuse me, yeh mera hai. Meri marzi main piyu. Tumse handle nahi hoti. Main 5 bottle tak handle kar sakta hun.” Veer pointed out.

“Please. Mere saamne mat laao ise. Aisa lagta it is going to increase my headache. Ek toh mujhe kuch yaad bhi nahi hai.”

“Waise, mujhe apna timetable de do so I’ll start working.”

“Working? Woh bhi tu? Yeh aaj suraj kahan se aa raha hai? Janab hafte mein ek baar apne club jaake ke check karte hai ki kya chal raha hai. Aur suddenly aaj work?” Tapish asked.

“Yeh naye shauk kabse paal rahe ho? Man bhar gaya biwi se?” Balwant teased him chuckled.

“Dad, Tapish bhai, kya bol rahe ho? I’m not talking about business work. Mujhe Bani ne kaha hai ki use mere jaisa baby chahiye.” Bani almost choked on her tea as Veer threw the information. She coughed up. Sam patted on her back laughing.

“What the hell? Yeh kabh hua?” Bani asked looking at Veer accusingly.

“Tumne mujhse kaha kal raat ko ki tumhe mere jaisa baby chahiye. Abh mere jaisa baby toh sirf main hi de sakta hun.”

“Bani, meri request hai. Please… yeh saari requests mat rakha karo. Abhi abhi toh yeh idiot bada hua hai ki mere sar pe ek aur sar dard dena chahti ho?” Tapish complained to Bani. Pawan and Balwant laughed at that.

“Ek minute, Tapish bhai. Mujhe khud nahi pata yeh kya bol raha hai?” Bani told Tapish. She turned to Veer, “Yeh conversation kab hui?”

“Ramesh kaka, tumhare liye raat ko khana laaye toh tumne unse kaha ki who apne pote tarun ke liye cake le jaaye. Tab tumne mujhse kaha, ‘Veer, mujhe baby chahiye’.”

“Haan toh woh matlab tha ki jaise normally saari ladkiyo ko babies acche lagte hai waise. Ismein tumhare baby ki baat kya ghusa rahe ho?”

“Mere? Sweetheart, come on. Kisi aur ke saath mera baby aaya na tum yahan tandav kar dogi.”

Bani hit him. Everyone laughed.

“Main yeh puch rahi thi ki yeh tumhare baby ki baat kar rahi hun yeh thought kyu aaya?”

“Kyuki tumne specifically kaha I quote, ‘Veer, mujhe tumhare jaisa cute sa baby chahiye. Tumhari jaise aankhen. Tum bachpan mein kitne cute the. Bilkul waise hi. Jaise tum mujhe bohot pareshaan karte ho, waise hi who chota sa baby bhi thoda sa masti kare. Tumhare jaise cute ho. Tumhare jaisa smart ho’ Tumhare exact words mein.”

“Yeh sabh kuch mazaak hai. Tum mere saath prank kar rahe ho.” Her cheeks had gone red. She started to eat her breakfast not looking at anyone. Everyone laughed at her. She was super embarrassed.

“Abh dekho, sweetheart, tum deny kar sakti ho par nashe mein aksar insaan apne dil ki baat keh deta hai. Aur tumne mujhe aur bhi bohot kuch kaha.”

Bani’s eyes went wide in shock. She put her hand on his mouth.

“Haan theek hai. Please chup raho.” She had no idea how much more embarrassing things she had said.

“Aur kya kaha Bhabhi ne? Batao ne, Veer bhai, yeh interesting conversation hai. Waise, main aur Daksh ready hai chachu banne ke liye.” Ponky said. Bani threw a glass at him.

“Shut up. Tum pehle khao.” Bani hissed at him. Everyone laughed.

“But mujhe laga ki jis avatar mein Bhabhi aayi neeche, baby work must already be in way.” Sam commented. Bani glared at him.

“Arrey, Bani. Tere paas kya khud ke kapde kam ho gaye hai? Tumne damad ji ke kapde pehen liye hai?” Chachi made her entry at the exactly moment. After her were the Omg twins, Meera and her papa.

Bani looked at herself and realized she was wearing Veer’s t-shirt.

“Veeranshu….” Bani complained, almost embarrassed at how she was caught. Especially before her dad. “Pehle nahi bata sakte the ki maine tumhari shirt pehni hai?” She jumped off Veer’s lap.

“Mom, kya kar rahe ho. This is romantic. Saari ladkiyo ko apne boyfriend ke shirt pehena accha lagta hai. Aur woh toh jeeju hai, Bani ne pehen bhi li toh kya problem hai?” Mehek commented. Veer opened his arms, praising himself.

“Main bas abhi -” Bani turned to leave but her papa stopped her.

“Pehle kha le. Aise khana adha chodke nahi jaate.” He told her.

“Baitiye.” Tapish offered him. He sat down between Balwant and Veer. Bani sat next to Veer, severely embarrassed. She just couldn’t say a word. She suddenly felt that it was showing a lot of her thighs. She tried to pull it down.

“Sweetheart, kichne se shirt lambi nahi ho jaayegi.” Veer teased her running his fingers on her exposed thighs. She pushed them away.

“Tum please chup rahoge. Ek toh I don’t know how to look at my dad anymore after he’s seen me like this.” She complained. Veer chuckled. “Aur mujhe tumhari shirt pehnani zaroori thi?”

“Sweetheart, yeh tumhari hi request thi. You were adamant that you wanted to wear my t-shirt. Maine koshish ki tumhe tumhari kurti pehenane ki but tumhe hi nahi peheni thi. Kurti hi dur phek di. Tumne kaha, 'Mujhe toh tumhari hi shirt peheni hai,' Abh main kya karta?”

“Waise toh humesha apni manmani karte ho, kal badi meri baat sunne lage.”

Veer chuckled. He wiped away the cheese that was on her lips.

“Sweetheart, mere dad ko problem nahi hai, mere bhaiyo ko problem nahi hai, humare ghar mein kisi ko problem nahi hai. Aur how is it going to change the way your dad sees you agar tumne meri shirt pehen bhi li. Main tumhara hun, mera dil tumhara hai, mera ghar tumhara hai, meri saansein tumhari hai toh shirt kya cheez hai?”

“Woh mere dad hai, Veer. He doesn’t need to know that I wear your shirt.”

“Plan nahi kiya tha, Bani. Bas ho gaya. Wrong time, relax. Meri shirt pehni hai. Its fine. Mujhe koi problem nahi hai. In fact… I quite like the scene.” He winked at her. She looked away, blushing slightly. Meera sat next to Bani.

“Abhi kaisi hai. Kal bohot hi zyaada pi li thi tune.” Meera asked her.

“Thoda sar dukh raha hai but its fine.” Bani answered.

“Waise, tujhpe acchi lag rahi hai Veer ki shirt.” Meera teased her.

“Meera di, kyu ched rahe ho?”

“Bani, tu na hume bhi apne jaise dance karna sikhana.” Dehek pointed out.

“Bhabhi, Bhabhi, Bhabhi…. On that note, apko hum sabh ko dance karna sikhana chahiye. We couldn’t even catch up with you. Pura dance floor sirf apko hi dekh raha tha.” Ponky added.

“What?!!” Bani exclaimed. She turned to Veer, “Maine kitni pi li thi? Aur what the hell happened? Maine dance kiya?”

“Haaye, main toh pehchaan hi nahi paa rahi thi. Aisa laga koi aur hi hai Bani ke roop mein. Dance toh tune itna accha kiya ki bas sabh tujhe hi dekh rahe the.” Chachi commented.

“Maine kya dance kiya?” Bani asked Meera.

“Mera dil ruk gaya, sweetheart. Kaafi hot. I swear. Katrina Kaif bhi itni hot nahi lagi mujhe” Veer pointed out. “Shayad video hoga.”

“But just so you’re warned. Tumne sabke saamne Veer ko kiss kiya.” Meera told her. Bani had no idea where she wanted to run and hide.

“Kya Meera? Saara suspense kharab kar diya. I wanted to see her shock jab Bani video dekhti.” Veer commented.

“At this point, I’m actually begging people not to tell me what I did while I was drunk.” Bani complained. Veer laughed. He put his arm around her and kissed her cheek.

“Mujhe problem sirf itni hai ki, sweetheart, nashe mein kiss kya. Itna dil hai toh hosh mein kar leti. Main bhi enjoy karta.” Veer told her.

“Dekho… I really don’t know why I did that.”

“Kyuki, sweetheart, jitna main tumhara hun, utna tum meri ban chuki ho. Bas.” He answered. She looked at him. He smiled at her. Bani had now noted that he was able to pull back his wings.

“Your wings…” She whispered. He nodded with a smile.

“It was a bit better so I was able to pull them back.”

Bani got really happy knowing that. It meant that the base of his feathers had already formed and it was just left to grow them back. Bani smiled at him.

“You’ll be back soon.”

Bani ate her food and went up stairs towards her room and changed her clothes. She returned to meet her papa.

“Sorry, woh…” Bani tried to apologize.

“Koi nahi, beta. Theek hai. Jab tak tu khush hai, main bhi khush hun.” He told her with a smile.

“Papa, mujhe na aapko kuch batana hai.” Bani made him sit and showed him two photographs. One of her with her parents and second her entire family. “Main apni family se mili.”

He looked at her. He was extremely happy for Bani that her age old wish had come true but as the man who had loved her as his own daughter, he felt a little down. Now, would she forget him that she had found her own real family?

He smiled, trying to look happy.

“Mere mom aur dad mere saath.” She showed him the first photograph. She was around two and a half years old in the photo. She then showed him the other photograph, “This is my dadaji and dadi. My chacha and chachi. This is bua, Vanshika’s mom. Chacha aur chachi ke dono bete Rishi aur Kartik. My other bua and her husband.”

“Mujhe bohot accha laga ki teri itne saalon ki wish puri ho gayi.” He smiled at her. Bani didn’t notice sudden worry in his eyes. This was Bani. His beloved daughter. The child he had loved so much. Every father feels a bit emotional while sending away his daughter to her in laws. Even he was emotional but now, there was a whole new thing. She had found her own family now. The ones who are blood related. Blood is thicker than water. He worried that she’d forget him.

Meera noticed that. Meera didn’t sat anything but simply sat next to her father and put her head on his shoulder. He smiled at that. For this reason, he always felt really grateful that he had daughters. Almost all the time, they could just understand without needing words. The emotional affection that daughters give was something he couldn’t imagine from sons. Especially after knowing several of his colleagues who had boys and felt trouble while dealing with them.

In his eyes, even the Singhania boys were out of control. Not to mention they treated father as if he was their friend rather than father. So, relaxed that it almost didn’t bother them. He was surprised that Balwant didn’t even say a word at how Bani was sitting at the dining table wearing Veer’s t shirt. He just went about so casually as if it wasn’t a matter to bother on. To Mr Sharma, the Singhanias were an odd family. There were no rules in the family, no boundaries and no control. It seemed to him that Balwant had no control on his sons. Tapish was the oddball in his eyes. How could a boy so well-mannered survive in the Singhania House, he didn’t know but he was glad.

“Main bata nahi sakti kitni khush ho gayi thi. Chachu ne toh mujhe kitna kuch bataya mere bachpan ki stories.” Bani told him happily. As a daughter, Bani hadn’t ever imagined a situation where she’d forget her papa. The thought didn’t even cross her mind that her papa would feel such insecurity. To her, he was her papa and would always be. She had grown up with his name, she had learnt everything from him, she had received so much love from him. He was irreplaceable in her life.

“Bani, ek minute…” Tapish called her. She got up and left. Meera stayed with her father. She slowly started swinging the swing.

“Aapko darr lag raha hai na?” Meera asked him knowingly.

“Itne saalon se Bani ke zindagi mein baap ki jagah maine li hai. Khushi hai ki who apno se mili par ek ajeeb sa darr hai ki kahin main uske zindagi mein na raha toh? Mere liye toh who meri bacchi hai. Choti si thi jab use ghar le aaya. Itni pyaari si, abh jab use uske khud ke log mil gaye hai toh aisa lagta hai ki kahin meri importance nahi rahi toh. Ek baap apni beti ke bina nahi reh paata hai.” He expressed.

“Papa, aisa kyu soch rahe hai. Agar ek baap apni beti ke bina nahi reh sakta toh beti bhi apne papa ke bina nahi reh sakti. Bani aapse kitna pyaar karti hai, yeh aapse chupi nahi hai. Chahe jitney log aa jaaye uske zindagi mein, aap humesha uske liye uske papa rahenge.” Meera tried to assure him.

“Darr ka koi matlab hota hai kya, Meera?”

“Maanti hun, papa. Shayad aap apni jagah sahi hai. Mujhe bhi kuch waqt ke liye aisa laga ki Vanshika aa gayi hai toh Bani mujhe shayad itna yaad nahi karegi. Kabhi kabhi toh rona bhi aata tha. Waise toh Bani humesha mujhse der tak baat karti thi. Phir Vanshika aa gayi aur Bani uske saath bohot saari baatein karne lagi. Mehek Dehek toh humesha se hi khud apne mein rehte the par main aur Bani ek dusre ke saath sabh kuch baant lete the. Phir Tapish ne kaha ki naye logo ke aane se purane rishte kamzor nahi pad jaate. Naye logo ke aane se purane logo ki importance khatam nahi hoti. Sabhki zindagi mein unki bachpan ki sabse khoobsurat yaadein humesha hi khaas hoti hai. Unse kabhi dur jaana accha nahi lagta.”

“Tapish?”

“Haan. Thodi baat hoti hai humari. Tapish sabse bada hai toh aisa lagta hai ki kuch baatein samjha sakungi use. Ponky aur Daksh toh cheezein nahi samjhenge. Veer se baat karna hi ek muskil task hai. Jab tak uska mann hota hai, sunta hai, jab mann bhar jaaye chala jaayega baat beech mein hi chodke. Samrat abhi abhi aaya hai. Toh bas Bani ke baare mein Tapish se hi baat kar sakti hun. Pehle pehle Bani ki bohot fikr hoti thi aur samajh nahi aata tha ki kisse baat karun. Toh Tapish ko approach kiya. Bas abhi thoda sa comfortable hun usse kuch kehne ke liye.”

“Yeh mujhe samajh hi nahi aata ki Tapish Balwant ka beta kaise hai? Veer ko dekhke lagta bhi hai ki woh Balwant ka beta hai par Tapish alag hi hai.”

Meera laughed. He smiled at that.

“Aapko aisa lagta hai. Main bata rahi hun maine uska woh side dekha hai. Yeh jo aap dekh rahe hai, woh Tapish saare Singhanias ke Tapish bhai hai. Tapish Singhania toh hai alag.”

“Tumhe bohot pata hai.”

“Nahi par thoda sa idea hai. Ek baar… bas uss Christmas ke din mujhse baking mein thodi si galti kya ho gayi, humesha mujhe yaad dilata rehta hai. Itna irritate ho gaya tha.” Meera laughed at that.

“Meera di….” Vanshika ran and hugged her. She looked back and sighed. She went back out and soon dragged a woman with her. They recognized her quickly as Aishwarya Kashyap. “Meera di, mom. Mom, yeh hai Meera di aur unke father.”

“Namaste.” Aishwarya greeted them. Mr Sharma was surprised. Could a woman who looked relatively in her mid-thirties have a daughter who was in her mid-twenties? “Aishwarya.” She introduced herself.

“Namaste.” Mr Sharma greeted her. Aishwarya smiled at him.

“Aapko kya kahun yeh mujhe pata hi nahi. Aapne itne saal meri bacchi ko itna pyaar diya aur uske pita banke use humesha pyaar diya hai. Uske liye shayad mere paas words hi nahi hai kehne ke liye. Jo bhi kahun kam hi padega.”

“Mere liye toh Bani meri beti thi. Humesha hi uski Khushi chahta hun.”

“Beti hai.” Aishwarya corrected him with a polite smile.

“Aap humesha hi Bani ke papa rahenge. Bhale hi Bani mere bhai ki beti ho biologically par Bani humesha hi pehle Bani Sharma rahengi.”

He was surprised. No one would say something like that. They would be quick to correct that the daughter had their family name.

“Yeh toh aapki acchai hai.”

“Acchai nahi hai, Mr Sharma. Bas aapka haq hai. Main ya koi bhi aur aapse who nahi cheen sakta. Jitna haq mere bhai ka hai Bani par, utna hi aapka bhi hai. Aur jo Rishta hai aapka Bani ke saath uske wajah se, who humesha pehle Bani Sharma hi rahegi. Jabse usne hosh sambhala hai, who Bani Sharma rahi hai. I know the saying that Blood is thicker than Water, par rishte sirf khoon se nahi bante. Rishte pyaar se bante hai aur aapne Bani ko bohot pyaar diya hai.”

He smiled.

“Waise aap kya karti hai?”

“I’m a surgeon.”

“Aap toh wahi hai na? Kisi toh bhi newspaper mein aapki photo aayi thi.” Chachi showed up without a warning and asked her.

“Haan. Yeh meri mom hai. Dr Aishwarya Kashyap. Aaj tak har case ko successfully treat kiya hai. Isiliye she’s the best.” Vanshika said with a grin.

“Ji.” Aishwarya answered to Chachi. Chachi was surprised to see the woman in person. Chachi knew that Aishwarya herself was one of highest paid doctors. Not to mention Aishwarya Kashyap was extremely pretty.

“Aap toh apni beti ki badi behen lagti hai.” Chachi said with a chuckle buttering her. “Dekh ke lagta hi nahi hai ki aapki itni badi beti hogi. Matlab 25 saal ki beti hogi aapki yeh lagta hi nahi hai.”

Mr Sharma was almost embarrassed at that.

“Thank you.” Aishwarya didn’t know what else to say about that.

“Yeh meri maa hai.” Meera introduced.

“Oh…”

Bani came out and saw Aishwarya.

“Bua?” She was surprised but hugged her. “I’m surprised. Aap yahan?”

“Haan, bas kuch kaam se hospital mein aayi thi aur yeh yahan keech ke le aayi.”

“Andar aao na.” Bani insisted taking them all inside.

“Bani, suno. Iski zaroorat nahi hai…” She tried to tell but Bani refused to relent.

“Ramesh kaka, yeh hai meri bua.” Bani introduced. “Aap ek chai bana laayenge?”

“Bilkul, Bani bitiya.” He went to do the work. Tapish noticed Aishwarya. He smiled at her and walked up to her.

“Hello, gorgeous…” Veer walked down the stairs with a charming grin on his face. He had taken a bath and gotten ready. Bani assumed Veer was calling her gorgeous.

“Veeranshu, yeh koi -” Bani cut off herself when Veer passed her and went straight to Aishwarya. Veer took her hands and kissed her fingers. She laughed.

“Please, humari amazing host services ko test karne ka mauka toh de.” Veer took her hand and made her sit.

“Dekho, main yahan gappe maarne nahi aayi. Yeh toh Vanshika zabardasti mujhe yahan le aayi Meera se milane.”

“Ouch…” He looked at Vanshika. “How rude. Meera se milane laaye aur mujhse nahi?”

“Uff… New Year ki shuruaat hi itni acchi hui hai.” Samrat showed up.

“Aur mujhe yaha laga ki tum pahadon mein jaake thoda sudhar gaye hoge.” Aishwarya commented. Veer and Sam laughed.

“Kuch bhi soch leti hai aap. Hum dono sudhar jaayenge toh aapko entertain kon karega?” Veer commented with a laughter.

“Yeh meri bua hai.” Bani told them.

“Sorry, sweetheart, par humare liye toh yeh Dr Aishwarya Kashyap hi hai. Jinse milne hum kitni baar hospital pohoch jaate the.” Veer told her.

“Haan, aur aapke pati devi kaafi unchi unchi phekte hai. What was that? ‘Aish, bas life mein aaj ke baat commitment nahi deni hai mujhe. Jaan bachi toh laakho paaye. This try went horribly wrong. Matlab shaadi kaise kar lete hai log? Main bhi na tumhari tarah single hi rehna ka decision le raha hun’.” Aishwarya teased him.

“Things change na, gorgeous. Tabh tak main Bani se kahan mila. Tabh toh saari ladkiya yaa toh passing thi ya phir a little to clingy. Then I met Bani.” Veer commented with a grin. She shook her head.

“Haan, ek baat na tum bhi yaad kar lo, Veer 'Romeo' Singhania. Meri Bani ko agar zara bhi rulaya na, soch lo.” She threatened him with smile. Veer looked offended.

“Main Bani ko rulata hun? Please Bani bhi mujhe utna hi torture karti hai. Pagal ladki nashe mein pyaar ka izhaar karti hai.” Veer defended himself. Bani threw a pillow at him.

“Kya kaha tha maine. We are going just ignore everything I said yesterday.” Bani told him blushing .

“Ouch… Yeh dekho… yeh…” He told Aishwarya. “Matlab banda yahan mara jaa raha hai sunne ke liye ki biwi pyaar karti hai par very comfortably madam ne keh dena hai ki we’re going to ignore everything she said.” Almost complaining.

Aishwarya laughed.

“Abh pyaar mein phas gaye ho. It happens.” She said. "Isse pehle tumhe pyaar nahi hua toh tumhe fark hi nahi pada. Abh pyaar hua toh batli bhar bhar ke fark padega."

“Ek minute, yeh kya tareeka hai matlab? Abh pyaar hai toh madam mujhse puchti hai ki Veer tum mujhe pyaar kyu karte ho? Matlab pyaar hua hai toh hua hai. Yeh kyu wale sawaal puchna zaroori hai?”

“Hoga uske liye. Girls like to know what exactly about her made you fall in love with her.”

“Abh kya chahti hai main writer ban jaau? I’ll need like four books to finally list out everything.”

Ramesh kaka brought tea for her. She chuckled.

"Romeo, agar pati itna pyaar de raha ho toh har ladki bhaav khati hai. Its okay. Jaldi hosh mein bhi keh degi."

"Bua..." Bani blushed.

"Its okay. Use pata hai tum usse pyaar karti ho. Sabhko pata hai. But tum aur V dono ek hi boat mein ho. Pyaar hai but then you'll pretend all high and mighty." She teased.

"Mom, let's not talk about me. Please." Vanshika said.

“Tum yeh batao, achanak se apna plan kab change kiya? I thought you decided to settle down there.” She asked Sam.

“Bas aisa feel hua ki shayad meri zaroorat hai yahan toh, bas, chala aaya.” Sam answered.

“Anyway. Acha hai. At least abh mujhe har din Vanshika phone karke nahi puchegi ‘mom, aapko Samrat ne call kiya kya?’”

“Mom…” She complained. Everyone laughed at that. “You’re supposed to be my mother. You can’t throw out my secrets like that.”

“Itni fikar thi meri toh mujhe call kar leti.” Sam teased her.

“Sir, aapke phone pe na kuch 17,000 miss calls honge inke. Aapne uthaye hi nahi.” Aishwarya pointed out. "Isiliye madam mujhe call karke puchti hai. Come on, baby, mujhe kaise pata hoga?"

“Seriously?” Sam asked Vanshika.

“You know what, mom, chalte hai. I think you’re busy.” Vanshika decided.

“Oh, hello? Kya abhi I have several things to talk about.” Veer made Vanshika sit down. Bani had gone out to see off her dad, chachi and the twins. Veer pulled out his wings.

“Yeh kya haal kiya hai?” Aishwarya asked at the sight of those missing feathers. Veer sighed.

“Long story. Underlining event yeh hua ki the feathers got burnt toh they were pulled out. For a while main unhe wapas andar nahi kar paa raha tha but now its possible for me to pull them back. It is a surprising point. Kyuki usually aisa nahi hota. Maine Bani se yeh nahi kaha because she’ll get stressed.” Veer told her. The only person he knew who would know what to do would be Aishwarya Kashyap. She knew the anatomical and physiological make up both cheels and naagins. She put down the tea and looked at the wings.

“Veer, are you barking mad? If you wanted to remove the feather, theek se nikalte na? Yeh kaisa tareeka hai?” She scolded him.

“I didn’t do it.”

“Who did it?”

“Markaat.”

She stopped at the name. She looked at him in shock. She almost thought she heard it wrong.

“What?!”

“Bola na, it’s a long story. To brief it up, for a while Markaat got control of my body and that’s when this happened.”

Aishwarya sighed but checked up the wings properly. Till now, Veer didn’t know who to ask about this. If she had been around earlier, he would’ve gone to her but she wasn’t there at her hospital but now, he had the chance.

“Does it hurt?”

“Thoda sa dard ho raha hai but majorly its itchy. I keep feeling that I just want to flap those wings and itch it away.”

“Possibly new feather attachments sahi jagah pe nahi hai.”

“But you’re saying ki heal ho raha hai.”

“Haan. I mean feathers toh pehle bhi bahar aa jaate the. It’s a natural process but this is different. Jaise wings ki size badhti hai, waise hi feathers bhi change hote hai. This is deliberately pulling out feather. Its like clipping wings. And unfortunately, that idiot might have done it the wrong way.”

“Yeh Bani se mat kehna. She’ll freak out.”

“I still think ki she should know. Baad mein pata chala toh she's going to go crazy." She suggested but left it to Veer to decide, "You remember bachpan mein when you fractured your wing, toh wing exercise hota tha?”

“Haan.”

“Try to continue that. Shayad woh movement ke chakkar mein hi theek se feather attachment ho jaaye. I can change it surgically but it wouldn’t be something I suggest. Could be a little too painful.”

Veer sighed.

“But design malfunction toh hai aisa ki I shouldn’t be able to pull them back until it is healed properly.”

“Veer, agar Markaat involved hai then there could be more to what it seems. Tumhe exactly yeh icchadhari banne ki shakti Markaat deta hai.”

Veer realized where she was going with it. His hands shook a bit.

“If this is exactly what you’re thinking then aise ek ke baad ek lene ka kya matlab hai? He could take it down at once. Why do it slowly?”

“Has to be something, Veer. I don’t know that much about it but I know something is wrong. Jab tak puri tarah samajh na aaye, try with wing exercise.”

“Honestly speaking, I don’t know what I’d do if he takes away all my cheel powers. I hadn’t imagined that side. But he’s always been behind my body but if he takes away the powers, how will he be able to get them? If I’m not a cheel anymore, its entirely a moot point for him. He can't do that.”

“Agar koi hai jo uske plans ko samajh sakta hai toh woh tum ho.”

"Darr lag raha hai, Aish. Agar sach mein main cheel nahi ban paaya toh?"

"Tumhe acche se pata hai Veer. Agar woh shaktiya cheen sakta hai toh de bhi sakta hai."

"That isn't an option, Aish. If I have to choose my cheel side, I have to let go off Bani. Ek baar uske liye jaan de chuka hun. I could have still taken a flight to the caves and survived but I didn't want to. Woh nahi toh matlab nahi hai mere hone ka. How do I give up on her when I'm this far that she is in love with me now?"

"Toh bas have faith."

"I'm not one to be a religious zealot. Agar har cheez ke liye bhagwaan ke paas jaana pada then there is nothing different in me and a regular eagle. General birds live on his constant mercy on them. We have a choice to be able to decide for ourselves and do something about our situation on our own."

"Faith isn't about being a religious zealot. It is having someone to turn to when every door seems closed for you. Faith is having hope that even in the darkest night, we can have some amount of light."

Chapter 46

Veer was walking down the stairs. Bani was happy and prepared lunch. Just as he had gone down halfway, he stopped feeling his wings. Even with their wings pulled inside their shoulder, they could feel the existence of their wings. Its is just like how every bird know they have wings even while sitting down and sleeping. Veer stopped feeling his wings anymore. He stopped and tried to pull out his wings but they didn’t come out. Veer looked at his trying to bring out his talon but they didn’t come out either. Second day of the year and he lost his cheel powers.

The whole ordeal shook him from the inside, he tripped and fell down the stairs. He had seen the signs. There were too many feathers molting but he was in denial.

“Veer!!” Everyone shouted running towards. The edge of the stairs hit head and a cut formed.

“Veer…” Tapish caught him before he could be severely injured and helped him stand back up. “Kya hai? Theek se toh chalta na?”

“Bohot zyaada chot lagi hai kya?” Balwant asked.

Blood pooled down his leg as he madly tried to do something to bring out his powers.

“Veer, kya kar raha hai?” Balwant asked.

“Veer bhai…” Sam shouted from the top of the stairs. He ran down the stairs. The brothers shared a look.

Veer felt his panic for the first time. If Sam had seen it, it has to be true. Everything he had seen comes out to be true. Veer ran his hands through his hair. He knew this was coming. Aishwarya had already told him before yet he wasn’t prepared for it to come this soon.

“Veer, kya ho raha hai? Tum dono mein se koi kuch kahega?” Balwant asked.

“Meri cheel ki shaktiyan cheen li hai Markaat ne.” Veer answered. Silence filled the whole house. No one knew what to do at this point. No one could think of anything. Veer was dealing with the loss to think of anything to fix this. There was no way to fix this. Veer knew it. Only Markaat could give him his powers back and for that Veer knew he’d have to sell his soul.

Bani looked at Veer. He looked broken. She knew if she tried to assure him right now, he’d get angry thinking she’s sympathizing with him. He hated to be sympathized. His ego didn’t let anyone sympathize with him. She didn’t know what to do. She knew the hell of a nightmare it would feel to lose the powers that were their greatest strength. He was still her Veer Singhania. Bani pulled up his tracks to check the injury that made blood flow down. It was a large cut and blood flowed out from it. Bani brought the kit.

“Iski zaroorat nahi hai.” Veer tried to tell her. He didn’t want sympathy.

“Veeranshu, chot lagi hai. Sahi waqt pe theek nahi karoge toh nishaan reh jaayege.”

“Chot toh dil pe bhi hai, jab uska ilaaj nahi hai tohi se theek karke kya matlab?” He commented, the soft anger in his voice visible.

“Dil pe lage choto ko theek hone mein waqt lagta hai par kabhi heal nahi honge aisa nahi hota hai.”

She cleaned the blood and pressed her hand on would, healing it. Soon enough, it was healed.

“You can’t heal a lost appendage. I lost my wings and my talons. You possibly can’t fix it.”

He walked away with that. Although she healed the wound that was external, she could almost feel him bleeding through the hole inside him. Veer loved his wings. Bani knew that. To every bird, their wings were the most important part of their identity. Losing them would not allow them to know who they are anymore.

“Bani, please don’t mind him. He’s just angry at losing like this.”

They heard things breaking and crashing. Bani tried to go upstairs but Balwant stopped her.

“Gussa hai, Bani. Nikal jaane do. Andar daba ke rakha toh khud ko chot milti hai.”

“Abhi bhi chot lag sakti hai, daddyji.”

“Yeh chotein theek ho sakti hai, Bani, par dil pe lagi chot ka dard nahi nikala toh andar hi andar khaa jaayegi use.”

Bani went up regardless. Veer had almost destroyed the room. The rage on his face. He was bleeding through the injuries left on him while destroying the room. She passed him a vase and he flung it out of the window. Bani winced at the display of rage. She hadn’t seen him that angry before. The whole room was a mess of rage. She didn’t interfere as he continued to destroy stuff.

“Please jaao, Bani. I’m not in a mood to have any interaction with anyone.”

Bani walked in and made him sit on the destroyed bed.

“Agar tumhe yeh sympathy lag rahi hai toh yeh mera problem nahi hai. But mujhe sirf tumhari chot dikh rahi hai. Mana ki jis dard se tum guzar rahe ho who bohot zyaada but shayad tum bhul gaye. We had promised to share everything. Khushi bhi, dard bhi. Bas. Mujhe chot lagti hai toh tum mujhe dawa lagate ho toh tumhe chot lagegi toh main hi dawa lagaungi na?”

She patiently cleaned the wound and wrapped bandage around him. Bani had come to understand that the way Veer dealt with emotional pain was physical pain. He’d go rampant and hurt him while destroying things. To interfere it would seem to him as if she was sympathizing with him. Until he could feel that physical pain to counter with the emotional pain, he wouldn’t just let himself breath. He wasn’t someone who dealt with emotional pain by crying his heart out.

Veer grabbed Bani and pushed her out of the room, closing it on her. If he was adamant and angry. She was going to be ziddi and patient too. If he was going to be Bani Sharma. She was going to be Veer Singhania. She sat next to the door. She wasn’t going to move from there.

“Bani, kyu yahan baithi ho?” Tapish asked.

“Kyu Veeranshu ne mujhe kamre se bahar nikala hai.” She answered.

“Bani, khud ko kyu pareshaan kar rahi ho. Let him be for a while. Jab gussa utar jaayega toh khud hi aa jaayega tumhare paas.”

“Nahi, Tapish bhai, woh ziddi hai toh main bhi Bani hun. Main toh yahin baithungi. Who hota kon hai mujhe humare kamre se nikalne wala?”

“Bani, zid mat karo. Aao.”

“Na.”

“Veer ko puri raat lag sakta hai, Bani. Kaise neend aayegi yahan? Ek toh bohot thandi hai.”

“Toh iske baare mein Veeranshu pehle sochta.”

“Bani, dekho…”

“Nahi, Tapish bhai. Yeh meri zidd hai. Main bhi dekhu ki who mujhe kaise dur karta hai.”

“Listen… I don’t need anyone’s sympathy. Bekaar mein khud ko yahan baith ke agar pareshaan karna chahti ho then your wish. I don’t give a damn.” Veer told her. His anger was shooting out. Tapish knew he wasn’t in a state to listen. Veer was always like that. Once he decides not to listen, he wouldn’t.

Veer walked away. Sam stopped him at the gate.

“I’m not going to stop you from going out bas itna kehna hai ki ghar aa jaana jab puri tarah chadha li ho. Don’t just go missing like me. Because if you don’t get back, we can’t fix this. If we can’t fix this, I’m going lose my mind.” Sam told him. “Drink to your heart, destroy stuff as you please but just do remember that Bhabhi is waiting for you. Single hote toh kabhi sawaal hi nahi karta ki kabh aaoge. Par aapki biwi hai, Veer bhai. Just don’t run away. Do come back. Even if it takes hours for you to get out all your anger.”

Veer nodded and walked out. Bani just watched him from the corridor.

“Aa jaayega, Bani.” Tapish assured her.

“Tapish bhai, yeh suddenly kyu ho raha hai?”

“Bani, hum saare icchadhari cheelon ko Markaat se shaktiyan mili hai. So, he does have the power to take it away from us. Bas, gusse mein shayad le liya hoga.”

“Doesn’t make sense. Use toh Veer chahiye tha. Without those cheel powers, why would Veer be useful to him? Markaat itna bhi stupid nahi hai ki Veer ko chod de kyuki 12,000 divya varsho se usne Veer ka wait kiya hai. Itne dur aake usne chod diya apna mission? Nahi. Use lagta hai ki shaktiyan cheen lega toh Veer uske paas chala aayega. But do you think Veer chala jaayega Markaat ke paas?”

“Bani, mujhe sach mein nahi pata iss baar. Veer ke liye uski cheel ki shaktiyan sabse zyaada important thi. He loves his wings and his freedom. Abhi bina cheel shaktiyon ke aisa hai ki uski identity chali gayi hai.”

“Uski identity yeh hai ki woh Veeranshu hai, yeh nahi ki woh cheel hai.”

“Bani, uske liye toh Veer aur Cheel ek hi hai. Its not different for him.”

Bani sighed.

“Just when I was thinking that things were going well, we’re off on this.”

“We’ll all get through this together. Abhi problem sirf woh nahi hai. Veer Cheel Rajkumar tha. Uski absence mein kisi ko woh place lena padega or else, everyone will go out of control.”

“I can’t imagine that idiot back to being Cheel Rajkumar. He’ll leave every single down to Markaat. After that there is going to be no hope for cheels at all.”

“Exactly what worries me. Ek toh mera bhai hai, jo mujhe bohot pyara hai aur dusri taraf the thought of what is going to happen to all the cheels if Nikhil is back.”

After several hours of Veer not getting back, the Singhanias set out to find him. Bani thought for a moment and went to the place that Veer had once brought her. Veer was staggering. He was drunk. Standing on the edge.

“Veeranshu.” Bani ‘s heart stopped as he let himself fall down the cliff. She instantly, turned into her Naagin form and caught him in the air. She got back to the cliff. Veer saw the large red snake with its coils around him.

He started laughing. Once they were on a safe distance from the cliff, she returned to her human form. “Veeranshu, pagal ho gaye ho kya?” She shouted angrily. Her eyes were red. “Kuch samajh bhi ata hai ki tum kya kar rahe ho?”

He staggered. Bani held him.

“Kyu yahan aayi ho, Bani?” He asked drunk. He was holding the bottle of vodka. She took it from him and threw it away. The bottle broke, wasting away the alcohol. “That is a waste of some really good alcohol, sweetheart.”

“Tumhari himmat kaise hui yeh harkat karne ki? Tum samajhte kya ho khud ko. Na kisi ki fikar na kisi ka khayal. Aise kud jaaoge? Tumhe kuch ho jaata toh?” She scolded him. Her temper was flaring. He tilted his head looking at her. He put his one arm on her shoulder and with other hand, he brushed away the hair on her face. “Main kuch puch rahi hun… Yeh kya harkat hai? Mujhe nahi pata tha ki Veeranshu Singhania itna kamzor hai ki aisi harkat karega.”

“Main wahi Veeranshu toh nahi hun na. I’m lost, Bani. So lost. Haar gaya.” He confessed. “Haar bardash nahi hoti, Bani. Nahi hoti. Aisa lag raha hai ki kisi ne mujhe mera ghamand cheen liya hai. I was always proud that no one could defeat me but look at me. I lost.”

“Toh kya aise kud jaaoge?”

“I was hoping that reflexively it would come out. Agar I jump and try to feel the same rush of the air, they’ll come out.”

The way his voice sounded so broken, it broke her heart. Bani held his face.

“Tumhe kuch ho jaata toh meri jaan nikal jaati, Veeranshu.” She wrapped her arms around him and hugged him. Veer drank from his flask and hugged her. Resting his head on her shoulder. She wrapped her around him as if she’d protect him from the world. “Tumne na kitni pi li hai, Veeranshu.”

She made him sit and checked his injuries. She healed some of them. He stopped her.

“Please. Rehne do.” Veer requested her. “Shayad iss dard se hi dil ka dard feel na ho.”

Bani sighed and sat next to him. The two rested against the tree. He continued to drink.

“Veeranshu, tumhe bohot pi li hai, please bas karo.” She tried to tell him.

“Abh bas yahi toh bacha hai, sweetheart. Life mein toh bas abhi yahi reh gaya hai. Daaru.”

“Acha? Really? Hum sabkha kya?”

“Sabh uss Veeranshu se pyar karte hai jo pehle tha. Abhi toh bas yeh bacha hai. The shell of something I used to be. Dad ko bhi who Veer pasand tha. Mere bhaiyo ko bhi bas wahi acha lagta hai. Who Veer jo kabhi harta nahi tha. It isn’t me anymore.”

“Aur main? I’m nothing?”

Veer pushed his head back against the tree’s trunk and laughed.

“Tum? Sweetheart, I don’t have words to explain what you are to me. Par tumhe bhi toh uss Veer se pyaar hua hai. Iss Veer ko kabhi accept nahi kar paaogi.”

The way he looked at her, Bani would have given everything to him.

“How about you let me decide that and not make decisions for me?”

“Kyu, Bani? Kya bacha hai mere paas?”

“Unfortunately, mere paas na ek deewane ka dil hai. Jo use wapas hi nahi le raha. Jab main samajhne ki koshish kar rahi thi ki uske dil ke saath kya karna hai, tabh tak chor mera dil le gaya. Now he isn’t giving it back. Na toh apna dil le jaata hai aur na hi mujhe mera dil lauta raha hai. So, I’m with you as long as you decide to keep my heart with you. Just be careful with it, theek hai? It’s a bit fragile.”

Veer chuckled and looked at her. He took her hand and locked his fingers with hers. It is almost as if she could feel his inner pain through her touch. He turned to her and put his head on her shoulder, almost as if hiding away.

“I don’t know what to do, Bani. Pehli baar aisa lag raha hai ki mujhe nahi pata main kya karun. I had always been someone who knew how to fix stuff but I don’t know how to do this. Jabhi aasmaan ko dekhta hun, I wish I could fly again. Aasmaan ki chahat khatam hi nahi hoti, Bani. It feels like I’m slowly breaking. I had always been someone who always loved winning. Abh haar bardaash nahi hoti.”

Bani had never seen him like this. He was a man who always won. At every step of his life, situations were thrown up on him and he came up victorious. He had gone through so much but never broke but this broke him. He wasn’t being able to find himself anymore.

“Veeranshu, agar tumhare liye aasmaan important hai toh chale jaao Markaat ke paas. Woh de dega tumhe tumhari shaktiyan.”

Veer chuckled at her suggested.

“Do you know what that means? Going to Markaat is like selling your soul for that life to him. Whatever he says you are indebted to do and he ends up being your master and has every control on you.”

“Kya fark padega, Veeranshu? You’ll get back your wings.”

He looked up and stared into her eyes. Slowly tracing her form in his mind like it was a beautiful memory. His eyes filled with a whole cocktail of emotional. Pain of loss, love for her and his madness for her.

“Sweetheart, jabse tumpar meri aankhen ruki hai, us din se har ek din bas tumhe dekhne ki chaht hui hai. Tumpar toh meri jaan bhi qurbaan hai. Agar ek din bhi tumhe na dekhu toh mera dil nahi manta. Tabhi toh itna pagalpan hai. Isiliye tumhari haan thi ya na thi, tumse toh mujhe shaadi karni thi. If I die and the last thing I see is you before my eyes close up, I’ll be fine with leaving the world forever. But as long you’re not the last thing my eyes see before I close them for death, I would have this wish to see you again. You keep asking me why I wasn’t scared of you when you threatened to kill m. Yeh isliye kyuki meri zindagi par tumhara sabse zyaada haq hai. Abh tum marzi ki jaan leni hai ya apni jaan banana hai. I know going back to Markaat is having to leave you behind. Tumhare bina toh marr hi jaaunga, sweetheart. Agar zinda laash hi banna hai toh jeene ka matlab nahi hai. Kaise kisi aur ko apni zindagi par haq de dun jo humesh se hi tumhara raha hai. Tum mujhse kuch bhi kaho, main woh kar jaau. Iss tarah tumhare saamne jhukna manzoor hai par kisi aur ke saamne aise nahi jhuk sakta.”

“Veeranshu…”

“Bani, yeh main kaise hi samjhau tumhe ki tum mere liye kya ho. Meri jaan ho, meri saansein, meri dhadkan, mera pyaar, mera pagalpan, meri zidd, sabh toh tum hi ho. Apna sabh kuch chodke aasmaan mil bhi jaaye toh aasmaan ke saath karun bhi kya jabh uski azaadi na ho. Tumhare pyaar mein puri tarah phas chuka hun phir bhi azaadi lagti hai par Markaat ke saath rahe kuch din bhi mere liye pinjare jaisa tha.”

He looked at her like she was the first rays of sun after living in darkness forever. Like light had illuminated the most beautiful scene before him. Just as much as he loved the memory of his first flight as a cheel, he loved the memory of the first sight of her. Both of them ingrained in his emotions.

Veer closed his eyes and closed the distance between them. He kissed her. Bani held his shirt near his waist. His arm was resting on her shoulder. It was the passion with which he always kissed her but rather emotional. He wanted stop feeling the paining. He wanted to let out all the pain but didn’t know how to do it. It just wasn’t in his system to cry. Since his childhood he had been trained not to cry at all, now the reaction just wouldn’t come out. Bani held his face, caressing his hair as she kissed him. He wanted to feel her being there with him. It wasn't his lustful kiss that could blow away her mind, it made her feel his feelings. How heavy he felt. Like he wasn't being able to carry his own weight.

She could feel his pain. A lone tear escaped her eyes.

“Why are you crying?”

“Because you’re hurt. Tumhe chot lagti hai toh dard mujhe hota hai. Tumhe rona nahi aata but I can’t help the tears.”

He wiped away her tears.

“Please don’t cry, Bani. Accha nahi lagta.”

Bani hugged him. He softly put his hands on her but Bani made him hug her back tightly. As if she was letting him feel her heartbeat through the hug. Veer tightly captured her in his hug, feeling her. The tighter he held her closer to himself, the more he was letting go off the anger that was causing him injury. Bani kissed his forehead and put his head on her shoulder then kissing his head.

Finally, the Singhanias found them. Balwant sighed a relief that at least he was safe. They pulled away and Bani stood up, giving him her hand. He stood up. Staggering up a bit but he started walking with her.

“Kya baat hai. Itna pyaar. Sab ke sabh mujhe dhundhte hue aa gaye?” Veer joked. “Mujhe laga ki next main aap sabhko khud ke final rites pe dekhunga.”

“Haan. Phir se aise gayab hua toh main hi tujhe maar dunga. Sabhko pagal kar rakha hai.” Balwant commented. Veer laughed. He tried to give Balwant a fist bump but couldn’t do it in his drunken stupor.

“Abh yeh bhi nahi ho raha…” The way he said, it made every worry for Veer. He laughed madly and walked ahead.

“Bani, kuch hua tha kya?” Tapish asked.

“Idiot cliff pe se jump kardiya yeh sochke ki aise reflexively pankh nikal aayenge. Idiot. Time se nahi aati toh neeche gir jaata.” She told him. Tapish ran his hands on his face sighing.

“Yeh suicidal tendencies kabse aa gayi Veer bhai ko?” Ponky asked.

“Suicidal nahi. He's in a bit of denial that his cheel half is gone for good. He is just trying to get it back. Jo nahi ho sakta hai. Na toh bhulna chahta hai na hi Markaat ke paas jaana chahta hai.” Bani answered.

Sam helped him as Veer staggered.

“Easy, Veer bhai, easy.” Sam told him. Veer noticed that the flask was now empty.

“Khatam ho gayi.” He complained.

“Haan piyoge toh khatam hogi hi na. Woh flask hai Akshay paatr nahi.” Sam commented dryly. Veer laughed.

“Good one.”

All them returned home. Veer and Bani slept in the guest room while Balwant had to get their room repaired. The shock and anger had passed, leaving pain and sadness. Veer didn’t want to speak anything at all.

The morning came and Veer silently returned to his daily routine of exercise. This time he didn’t wake up his brothers for exercise. Sam, Veer and Tapish went for exercise but it was a silent ride. They didn’t speak at all. Daily lapse and exercise. Tapish and Sam didn’t fly either knowing that seeing them fly, Veer would get even more hurt.

They returned home and Bani was already awake.

“Kya khaoge?” She asked.

“Bhuk nahi hai, Bani. So it doesn’t matter. Jo bhi bana do. Tum zabardasti khilaogi toh matlab hi nahi hota kya khau.” He answered. Bani felt a bit sad but tried not to work up herself over it. It was understandable. He was in pain.

Sooo drunk bani huh...reminds of the episode where she danced on kamli..but with added bonus of bani really being drunk and drunkenly talking about her feeling for her patidev. That whole chapter is my favourite and very honestly I've read it thrice now!!😳 The way she's all gone into this seductive mode and for once veeranshu singhania is at loss because he so badly wants to let go of his iron tight control and devour his wife but alas..morals and ethics!!😂 Veer hadn't expected her to get seductive and wasn't prepared for it. 😆 She knows how to get back at him.

It is coming. Bani's fire is going to show up. I know this seems like the track in the show but I have planned it differently. There's a side of Bani to see from this track. She's going to prove herself and herself learn something from this.

I'm happy to see your comment though. Aise lambe comments padhke maza hi aa jaata hai. To read what you've enjoyed the most from the chapters. 😊

Let the comments keep coming ❤️

This is getting amazzzzzzzzzzzzzzing!! Its been intriguing also!!

Best part of this fiction you are giving two parts in a go!!

Very well researched and the way you are explaining by combining with mytho is commendable!!

Dont mind if I am asking this questions ...not sure , if I had missed something while reading...

1. yeh markaat kaa maksad kyaa hai?

2. What does he want to do with Veer?

Stalkers could have followed this, series would have reached around 70 episodes...kaash aisa hotaa..

Great Job!!
