Lord Garuda can never hold enimity against adi sheshnaag coz having enimity with him is equal to having enimity from lord Vishnu coz adi sheshnaag is one of form of lord Vishnu himself.

In geeta lord krishna himself had said I m Anant amoung naag clan , maybe 4 Garuda too he had said this. How can Garuda have enimity from himself only . Infact once narada ask Garuda to see future of sheshaag which Garuda failed to do so .

So in short it’s because of Vishnu only.

If lakshman would had not killed meghnath then Vasuki would had not became king of naags again.

Why Vāsuki is more accomplished? Samudra Manthan, killing of tripurdahana demons, orchestrating events to ensure the protection of the entire naag clan with the help of his sister Mansa the goddess of all snakes, effectively helping contain the halahal poison etc.. I think there are more too. Oh like you said, he is also the real keeper of the naag mani.

It was the very last episode towards the end I guess both before and after Bela/Shravani finished off all her enemies and before Vish’s identity was revealed.

Raavan became king of all 3 loks with help of his son meghnath , indra was also defeated by meghnath , lord Brahma gave him name Indrajeet. After getting defeated by Meghnath Vasuki offered Sulochana 2 him who acc to some stories is his daughter , some stories she is sheshnaag's daughter who was living with uncle Vasuki . Later Vasuki complained sheshnaag regarding meghnath & raavan attack on naaglok & getting hold of naaglok . Sheshaag said he will avenge meghnath & get naaglok back . Later when he took birth as lakshman he only killed Meghnath thou there were many reasons to kill meghnath & naaglok went back to Vasuki .

Vasuki dint won naaglok on his own power , it was always sheshnaag who gave it to Vasuki , to in what he is more accomplished than his older brother.

Vasuki left d throne for very short period of time , lord shiv asked him to resume his duties as naagraj again & he had responsibilty of naagmani 2 . It was not like sheshnaag don't want to fulfill his duties but it's like he keeps lord Vishnu above everything & he never abonden his duties regarding naag clan , he made sure naag clan is well protected in his absence that's why he appointed Vasuki as king .

Sorry but Vasuki does not have a daughter, in fact I doubt he has any children at all. He is at the most close to his Sister Mansa and Sheshanaag. So I don’t believe in that story about losing to some Meghnath.

Sheshnaag had handed over the throne to Vasuki I agree, but that was because he had a higher purpose which was to serve lord Vishnu. Similarly Vasuki also had handed over throne to his younger brother Takshak when he had to go and adorn lord Shiva not because he lost a battle to some demon. Even if that was the case, that is him losing, that is still not the reason why his status changed.

@green you’re right it’s not a myth, it’s a belief and they differ from people to people. Similarly lord Shiva represents the entire universe and Vasuki who has adorned his neck as a garland is playing an effective role in containing the poison which both him and shiva consumed together along with all the other Naags. If it isn’t for Vasuki’s soothing effect then lord Shiva’s neck would have been irritated continuously besides that he also helps in preventing the poison stuck in his throat from passing down which would be disastrous for every one. Only after the consumption of the halahal poison the Amrit or elixir was able to emerge.

@red are you trying to say Vasuki does not care about lord Shiva the way Sheshnaag cares about Lord Vishnu? What are you trying to say?

U don't want to understand I can't help in it but it's a fact that won't change Vasuki lost naaglok to meghnath Varna naagkanya Sulochana would had never been given to meghnath in marriage , sheshnaag will never offer his daughter hand to meghnath who along with his father raavan was against lord vishnu.

Meghnath is not any ordinary demon , he was undefeated warrior he captured indra & was renamed as Indrajeet by lord Brahma. Lord Ram & lakshman found difficult to defeat meghnath once he tied both ram lakshman in naag paash lord Garuda help them , other time he attack lakshman with deadly weapon name shakti later hanuman ji brought Sanjeevani to cure lakshman, third time lakshman killed meghnath . If meghnath can give tough time to lord ram who was lord Vishnu himself & lakshman who sheshaag incarnation then he can definitely defeat Vasuki which he did & naaglok went under control of raavan . Raavan defeated all demi gods including 9 planets were under his control .

Try to search for meghnath vasuki's fight , Vasuki is not undefeated king.

Lord shiv asked Vasuki to resume his duties as naagraj , takshak was king of naaglok 4 very short period of time as Vasuki could not denied lord shiv , in mahabharat time takshak was living in khandavan & Vasuki was ruling naaglok bheem reached naaglok & met Vasuki .

As u say Vasuki abonden d throne what was he doing in naaglok & takshak d so called king of naaglok was residing in khandaprastha

I never said Vasuki dint cared for lord shiv , he definitely keep him above everything , that why he followed his order as lord shiv wanted him to resume his duties as naagraj again.

You know there are many versions of the same story, you can believe it if you want but don’t expect everyone to do so. I still hold to the fact that Vasuki does not have a daughter so no Vasuki was never defeated by any person called Meghnath less have anything to do in the tiff between Ram, Lakshman and Raavan.
