Naagraj Vasuki

I feel it really weird in all naagin series sheshnaag is mentioned infact season 1 & 2 sheshnaag made a guest appearance but naagraj Vasuki is never mentioned.

I agree sheshnaag is actual king ( real naagraaj) of all snakes but he is associated with lord Vishnu . He dedicated his life to lord Vishnu that's why passed his duties to his brother naagraj Vasuki.

Naagraj Vasuki is ruling king of naag clan , snakes respect him a lot infact lord shiv is wearing naagraj Vasuki on his neck. Naagmani is under his protection not sheshnaag. As sheshnaag has Really tough job , he serves lord Vishnu , he takes birth to assist lord Vishnu & earth dont get disbalanced so he had lifted earth on his hood.

I know they glorify naagrani in d serial but naag clan is ruled by naagraj not naagrani .

I have no idea regarding this

Vasuki had made an appearance at the end of season 3 before both Shravani and vish.

What do you mean by actual king of all snakes? From what I’ve heard and been told Vāsuki is the king of all snakes while Sheshnaag is the king of Naag clan Both are supreme. If Sheshnaag represents the body, then Vāsuki is represents the life force. Now I Actually don’t know much but from what I understand if you are shaivaite I guess you would consider Vāsuki greater and vice versa if your Vaishnavite, hence I guess it’s debatable. But if it’s regarding the show I guess they just find a multiple headed snake more attractive, although in the Tamil version the Sheshnaag is replaced By Vāsuki.

I guess here is where my mythology expertise begins. Sheshnaag is the first ever Naag to be born. After him there is Vasuki, Takshak and others down from their. The first 100 naags are the first race of naags and hence first generations. Till the second generation, they had this biological ability to have a humanoid form. They're not icchadari like in the serial. They have one specific humanoid form. Icchadari refers to being able to take whatever form they like. This is a blessing Lord Shiva gave to these Naag Naagins who had been devoted to him for several years.

In accordance to my knowledge, most Naags live in Naaglok majorly out of fear of Garuda. Only a handful appear out of Naaglok. One, Sheshnaag who serves Lord Vishnu. Two, Vasuki who serves Lord Shiva. Out of all Naags, only Sheshnaag worships Lord Vishnu. Rest of the naag devote themselves to Lord Shiva because he offered them his protection.

About being rulers of Naaglok, each clan has one king. Like Takshak is also the naagraj of one tribe of Naags. In Mahabharata, Kauravya is also refered as Naagraj of his tribe of Nagas. His daughter Ulupi marries Arjun. So, there is no one ultimate Naagraj as such. Sheshnaag and Vasuki are generally refered as Naagraj because they're the most powerful of all Naags and the eldest ones. Also, because their position of superiority that they serve the Gods.

Naagraj and Naagrani are set on the same grounds. Naag clan is ruled by both of them. Naagrani takes up the duty in absence of Naagraj.

This is what I know from mythology. I don't know what sequence the serial follows.

I don't know about ancient times, but I am glad it's Naagrani/Aadi Naagin all the way!!! Women on the front is so satisfying !!

I guess u have heard of raavan putra meghnath & vasuki's fight , as meghnath marrying nag kanya Sulochana.

Some stories say Sulochana was vasuki's daughter , some say she was sheshnaag's daughter.

After getting defeated by meghnath & loosing naaglok , Vasuki complained to sheshnaag regarding this later sheshnaag said he will avenge meghnath.

Lakshman was re incarnation of sheshnaag

Sheshnaag is called adi sheshnaag coz he had unlimited hoods. I don't think Vasuki has unlimited hoods , Vasuki had enimity from Garuda , as he was very much involved with his brother in asking to bring amrit from Garuda , there is another fight also Vasuki & Garuda regarding naag protection.

Yes I know there were many snake born & adi sheshnaag is eldest but eldest doesn't make u king , as Garuda is king of all birds but he younger to his brother Aruna as he serves lord Surya but Garuda is more famous as he is associated with lord Vishnu.

Amoung all snakes brother only 3 brothers r most famous . Adi sheshnaag , Vasuki & takshak . Takshak is famous 4 his notorious activities .

Other naag brothers r king but they all come under naagraj Vasuki who is king of whole naaglok. As naaglok is not a divided in different part , it's one only. Its like ek kingdom ke under small small kingdoms hai

Lord Brahma asked naag clan to live beneath d earth. Some of them do rebel & started living on earth .

Acc to my knowledge sheshnaag passed his duties to Vasuki . It's like he is king of all kings that's why I said he is original naagraj.

In Telugu they keep mentions "Vasuki "only (Dubbing)

Mm when DraShiv in mission makki -honey mountain 😛 Guruji given Poison bottle stating it's Karkotak naag poison which around Shivji neck - no mention vasuki 🥺
