An Unlikely Transformation

Yesterday's episode took me through a gamut of emotions but provoked only one kind of feeling, 'Disappointment'

As much as I loved how beautifully they are taking the romantic story arc forward,

I felt the makers are digressing from the core storyline.

As far as I know, naagin 5 is a love-revenge saga. It kick started on the classic background of, 'Hero, heroine and Villain'.

Take 1: The Villain, 'Aakesh' killed the hero, 'Hriday' and so the 'heroine' took revenge by killing the, 'Villain'.

Take 2: All the three are reincarnated. The Heroine wanted to reunite with her soulmate, 'Hriday'. But destiny played its foul play and she ended up being, 'Aakesh' consort.

Now, it was completely fair till the time, Bani was planning with jay to INSTIGATE Veer. She wanted an open battle with him and complete her so called alleged revenge.

But what they have started from yesterday isn't revenge anymore. Its out n out betrayal. Bani always claimed that she wants to fight with veer saamne se! She was always of the principal, 'I would never attack Veeranshu in a back-stabbing way', it would always be on his face! What happened to her ethics yesterday then?

She was literally planning to kill veer by treachery! She was only supposed to set up the fight! Fighting it or not, is as much Veer's choice as hers!

Yesterday she came across as a evil woman who was scheming with her ex-lover to kill her husband in the worst way possible.

If she's so desperate to kill him, why not just reveal her naagin form and fight the ultimate battle, right then n there! He had anyways shown his true form to her!

Another thing, Veer falling in love with her, isn't her fault, I get that. But now when she can see, how much deeply he has started to fall for her, agreeing to jay's plan itself was a huge mistake from her side! I had expected her to say that laying a trap to INSTIGATE veer and Laying a trap to kill him are two extremely different things!

How is trapping someone to walk into land-mines be seemingly ethical? Bani is outrightly deceiving Veer, on an enemy level! This is the kind of enemy she wanted to be?

Isse peeche se vaar krna hi khete hai na?!

Veer apni burai gale mei leke ghumta hai, but bani is masking her devils under that pretty face of hers! I really found that disturbing.

I found her no different than jay yesterday!

Maybe she did it in peer pressure, but that doesn't justify her act.

This is the inconsistency in her character writing I always find. The last time she gave back to jay when he told her to kill off veer as soon as possible, was amazing! And that was like, 1 day back! Now suddenly she's ready to kill him off in the most meanest way possible?!

Its fine if she cannot reciprocate his feelings but atleast don't steep down to the level to plan to kill him, when he was at his vulnerable. Baring out every ounce of his soul infront of her.

'I would never hurt you', 'I wouldn't let any harm even touch you', 'Mein tumhe jee jaan se chahata hu'.

Veer doesn't get tired of expressing his love even when the timer is ticking on his head! Her revenge would have been valid if veer was equally hating her! Then I would have called the fight of equals! He's so emotionally invested in her now, it comes across borderline betrayal now from bani's side! Itna invest hone dena hi kyu hai, jab maarna hi hai usse!

I don't want bani's regret when the truth comes to light, I want her redemption for atleast this one act.

I get it, everyone's hidden demons come to light at some point in the worst way possible and bani's came yesterday, I feel. We could see her inner turmoil yesterday regarding how she felt for Veer, but her cold behaviour towards him, even after reaching the forest, made me uncomfortable. I was hoping she would refrain from going ahead. But on the contrary she was searching for that damn tree, from where Veer's death route starts!

I wasn't even able to enjoy the hug properly, since it wasn't 100% genuine from bani's side!😭

PS: I loved how beautifully they redeemed Veer's past life sins!❤️

Aakesh killed hriday in last birth, veer saved jay in this birth. Cause and effect both are fulfilled now.

PSS: This isn't a hate post on bani, alright!😆 The fact that she would never behave this unethically, made me more disturb about her! Woh hota hai na, safed kapde pe ek bhi daag, prominently dikh jaata hai!

Rest of the episode was, as we all unanimously feel,

IT WAS MAGIC!❤️ Words would fall short!❤️

I agree the scene when she agreed to kill innocent snakes just to full fill her revenge was mean. It is not a character of adi nagin.

But i still hope cvs will not show this and they will make it look like bani listened to jai to know what's his plan. She might not be ready to take veer there but since veer only insisted she might have agreed.

If cvs wanted to show bani as mean they could have shown a scene where bani wants to go place 'A' and veer wants to take her to place 'B'. Something like that happens and both will decide that they will go to both the places but coincidentally both the places are same. If you observe bani she is in no hurry to kill veer. She wants to listen his pov. She is trying to understand whether he is a good human being or he is as bad as aakesh. But now she got her answer. Veer is like a child. Who wishes good for everyone unless they harm him or his loved ones.

My major concern why didn't bani asked jai about pool incident I have a strong feeling she has already started doubting him.

agreed, i feel like either bani knows jay's truth or the writers wanted to write this just to get jay in her ear and have veer's reveal but they could've shown it some other way. let's hope we get some redeemable qualities next week?

There are so many scenes in yesterday's which was wierd and it's difficult to interpret.

Bani getting scared of bubbles..she was never scared of shakura. Why that scene came up all of sudden. Unless it will be used in future to make it as a flashback to show bani that she trusts veer and she feels safe in his arm.

Jai all of a sudden coming up with a plan and bani agreeing to it without even giving back like last time she actually showed jai his place. But this decision was bit dumb.

Veer asking jai if bani knows him being a cheel and when veer got to know about that condition that naagin can not attack unless they harm them first. Was that a reason why veer is so calm from the beginning? Does he know bani being a naagin (how can veer have so much patience😛 probably I need a reason to justify his patience.)

Meera's all of sudden dialogue which hints you can not hold on to ur love forcefully. Sometimes you need to let them go or else u will loose them forever.

What if veer and bani are together in this ?

Well, she wasn't eager to kill veer, but she was even cold after reaching the forest! Also, the fact that her intentions are still to kill veer, makes me irritated!

She has been living with that man for so many days now! Does he still deserve death?🤔

Yesterday, both, jay-bani only wanted to kill him only coz, he's an eagle! Aur koi reason laga nai muzhe! Basically, planning and plotting against him also isn't a problem,

I didn't like the plan as such and moreover bani agreeing to it! Taking him to forest, surrounding him with snakes and then attacking him, isn't this ethical fighting? I thought bani would contradict, she did, but it was strong enough, only that bothered me!

@Red: Yes, I found that weird too!😆 Whole Saturday's episode they spent on showing bani escaping Veer's house to talk to jay about only THIS specific incident, and when she finally met him, she forgot about it?😆 What was the Saturday episode then about?😆

Sweety, if I know Bani at all na, then she will push Veeranshu out of the way and herself step on that landmine. Her moral compass is too strong for this. I can even visualize Bani tossing those earrings away 😆and stepping onto that landmine, and asking Veeranshu to leave. And she hardly ever listens to Jai. I know it was frustrating to see this, but in her bid to prove to herself that she is still inclined to take revenge, she did this, but it won't happen period. Infact, mere dimaag me to woh scene chal raha hai, where she confesses that she is that child whom he had saved back then, and maybe she says she doesn't hate him but doesn't love him either. Probably also says that she brought him here to hurt him so she could prove that she doesn't love him, blah blah. Aisa hi kuch hoga mere hisaab se, and Veeranshu usse phir bachayega, and Jai ke plan ki "oh my mata" ho jaani hai, phir se.🤣Isiliye Navratri me popati Sardar banke aaya woh.🤣

Bold@ Yes, Bani agreed to Jay's plan because of peer presure. Sometimes, people do certain things because others instigate them to do those things. That's how people commit big mistakes and they regret those mistakes later. Jay was constantly provoking him so she couldn't even get an opportunity to think herself clearly. However, she didn't agree to the plan wholeheartedly. She didn't like how Jay thought about killing many innocent shape-shifting serpents and she said that to him. The greatest and the oldest serpent can never hurt other serpents. As she is leader of serpents she is affectionate towards them. So, ultimately she will not harm Veeranshu and shape-shifting serpents. I think Bani is also attracted to Veeranshu. She cares about him but she is not aware of her feelings. All of her feelings are burried inside her subsconscious mind.
