Do you think the makers should work on the characterisation?

I think the charactersation of the supporting characters is very poor. Meera and Tapesh almost seem non-existent. I can't take Ponky and Monil seriously and can't accept them as powerful eagles. If any of you watched "The Vampire Diaries" you will know the characterisation of the supporting characters were so good. Every supporting character (Alaric, Jeremy, Tyler) had so much importance in that show. I know the direction, the scripts, the dialogues, the characterisation of American shows are better and there's no point in comparing them with Indian shows. But the makers of Naagin 5 should give at least a little attention to the characterisation of the supporting characters. What do you think?

Absolutely. Writers believe that focusing characterisation on Main lead be it Hero or Heroine pulls the show which is not the case. A story or concept is stronger only if the supporting actors contribute alongwith leads through well written characters. They are made to look like puppets despite their individual talent. Intelligent audience love the team of actors input rather than just the leads contributing and making supporting actors look dummy than supportive in actual sense.

Writers should know that Great ingredient make a good food.

I agree with you Shirsha. The supporting characters - especially Balwant, Tapish, Daksh, and Meera should be given substantial roles because all of these contribute to the story.

The four I named above are definitely very crucial to the storyline as powerful allies or foes. They need to be given a story, more background, more meat, and they can work out as sub-plots as well.

The main story will always be about the leads, but these other stories should be weaved in and support the main plot.

agreed, i think perhaps because sharad is off for a bit they'll start exploring some side storylines for the next few episodes? i hope so at least. it'll be fun to kinda see the dynamic of these other characters along with knowing the main characters' storylines.

Shirsha dear.. You stole my words babeee🤗

Balwant Tapish meera are some supporting characters who need more screen space than mayuri and shukla... Tapish is someone whom veer believes blindly. He's the only among all sighanias Whom veer respects similarly bani and meera have the same bounding like veer-tapish.

I agree to what you said.

Initially I was looking forward to watch Meera and Bani bond.

Even now I want the writers to explore the dynamics of cheel clan. All the secrets they have been hiding from Veer, the back story of Teer, why are there no women in the house except Baani. I want to see Veer's brothers in their cheel form.

Totally agreed with you.

I definitely want to see more of supporting characters especially Bal want, tapish, daksh and Meera. I want to see their background story. That why is daksh so serious, why ta pish and meera are so quiet. Why Balwant hates women?

I hope we will get to see more of them in coming episodes.

Shukla's role is still okay, but Mayuri's entry was not really required in the show. Ek to peahens mujhe bilkul dangerous nahi lagti, magar bar bar Naagin mein peahens ko vamps dikahte hain. 😆😆 In real world, eagles definitely seem dangerous but peahens do not look scary at all. If the makers had so much interest in introducing a vamp they should have brought a female eagle of a female hawk (baaz). Aur baaz size mein bohot bare hote hain (cheel se bhi bare), so icchadhari baaz would have been a menacing vamp. 😆

Totally! Especially when they have such good actors! personality and talent wise! Bani and jay's family members are almost non-exsistant! I don't understand this, if they never wanted to utilize so many characters, why to introduce them in the first place?😆 Why to introduce a 'hum saath saath hai' type family for jay?😆 His brother and sister are too good-looking and talented for being just 2-3 episode gimmicks!🤔 Jay's dadi is also a senior actor I guess! And ofc, meera! She could prove to be such a strong support to bani, as we discussed earlier! I even felt, they killed off naina too soon! Naina and Meera could have been great allies to bani!

At the cheel household, I find tapish too timid and monil, ponky as too kiddish! Only Daksh seems to be a sane one! Such a huge cast actually! They should totally work on them!

The thing I feel is, makers get swayed by the audience!😆 Now they know, that Veer-Bani is the highlight for everyone, toh bass in every episode, unhi pe focus rakho, which isn't bad, but solely unpe rakhna, becomes monotonous!

Though this is just the beginning! I hope they weave in interesting storylines!

17 episodes have already been telecasted and the makers haven't yet explored the characters of Meera, Tapesh, and Daksh. I would say it is quite disappointing.
