If the makers had so much interest in introducing a vamp they should have brought a female eagle of a female hawk (baaz). Aur baaz size mein bohot bare hote hain (cheel se bhi bare), so icchadhari baaz would have been a menacing vamp. 😆

I was just going to make a different thread regarding icchadhaari baaz or giddha

Yes there should be another female vamp in the show from the cheel clan or from other hunter bird clan. Falcons or hawks are definitely a good option for that. they are known for their super fast flying speeds compared to cheels.

If you have seen all episodes of naagin 3 then you must remember there was vulture bird played by Aly goni. I want such character in this show too. It would be good element for jealousy track😆

Yeah, given its a finite series, they should pace a little now, if they even plan to introduce alternate storylines!😆 There focus is only on the negatives!🤔 Bass drama chahiye unhe show mei!😆

Yes, I watched Naagin 3 except for a few episodes (some episodes of Hujur and Hukum) and I remember that villain very well.

Vultures are quite menancing! But I doubt they would bring two similar bird species! Though eagles and vultures are different in attitude but both are hunting bird breeds! Cheels par se focus kam ho jaayega!😆 Maybe, bani ke team mei koi cunning animal aa skta hai! From Reptile animal kingdom!😆 Like a chameleon maybe!

Hi, just started watching the Show a few days back.

Hence, new to the Show and new to this Forum too..

On topic,

Absolutely.. Especially now. Given that Sharad will be absent in the Show for a while, it will be right time for the makers and their creatives to give attention to other characters and etch out a proper storyline for them all. Teer, for example, even for a brief appearance added so much to the storyline for the plot to move forward. The same cannot be said for Ponki and Monil though. Take them out and the Show will be just the same. Proper characterization happens when each character has a plotline that ultimately adds something the core storyline. But alas!!

Likewise, it is also high high time for them to explore the dynamics of eagle clan. Right now we only know that Shukla is a black sheep of the clan. But how about showing the real bond between Balwant and his younger brother, the mystery of womanless household. Even in Jai's family dadi seems to be such a mysterious character. It will be interesting to watch her dynamics with Singhania's.. I remember the looks she gave to Balwant on the day of Jai and Bani's supposed wedding. It looked more than a simple look of disgust, IMO. Likewise, Tapish is a very interesting character too.. That mysterious, secretive aura that he exudes - I wish it doesn't turn out to be fizz with no real substance. Manisha is another character that has quite a potential, IMO. Introverted, taciturn and the one with low self-esteem. She can add a lot to the mix given the makers also concentrate on her individuality and personal journey.

Coming to Mayuri, I agree when someone said that her character is neither interesting, nor menacing, except for Ekta's need to have heavily-made-up vamps in each of her Show. Not only that, the characterization is totally wrong too. Because peacocks are male species as peahens are female. And this is how peahens actually look.

If it is a peacock, it should have been a male character..

P.S : They'll also need to work on other aspects of the Show.. For example why do writers think that all that the eagle clan do is go on a long night-drives, booze neat shots one after another, wear blingy clothes, especially blazers all the time or have parties day in and day out?

Yes, I know how a peahen looks. The tail feathers of peahens are dull coloured and much shorter than peacocks. The makers probably showed long and attractive feathers because they looked beautiful. I mean I am not saying it is right to show a peacock's appearance for a peahen. But I think peacock's attractiveness can be the reason for showing Mayuri in that manner.

Bold@ Yes, I said that about Mayuri. Peahens do not look dangerous in real world at all.

Bold@ I completely agree about Ponky and Monil!

Bold@ Who is Manisha? Did you mean Meera?

Every supporting character (Alaric, Jeremy, Tyler) had so much importance in that show. I know the direction, the scripts, the dialogues, the characterisation of American shows are better and there's no point in comparing them with Indian shows. But the makers of Naagin 5 should give at least a little attention to the characterisation of the supporting characters. What do you think?

Totally agree with u...they should really work on supporting characters...Balwant Meera Tapesh monil ponky shukla all of them...these characters should be built strong and have a specific role in the story...I agree...even Jay, he is one of the leads, and he needs lots of improvement, if he is gonna be the villein then his reason for turning and his dids should have been more strong and less lame...Teer should get his story told, kaun tha kaha se tapka aya and mar gaya, he deserves a storytelling atleast...

But I am totally not expecting any improvement...Veer and Bani k characters and story acche se likh le bohot hai mere lie...I mean come on, ek to ITV upar se mata ka show...yaha morni k morpankh nikal gaye hai...cheel logo ka pata nehi night se and shamshan se kya connection hai...😆😆aur din mein nikalne se kya dikkat hoti hai...😆 aur vo s1 se aj tak sare naag naagins apne fangs k badle toung se bite karte aa rahe😛

So u see u cant really expect things like logic reason proper characterization of all characters in ITV...u definitely cannot expect TVD or any other CW tv show level writing here....But yeah all u said is totally valid and if someday they actually rectify themselves I would be so happy...but they are not gonna...😛

If you remember Naagin 1 and Naagin 3, the characterisation of the supporting leads was pretty good. Even in season 4 Manyata’s characterisation was quiet impressive. It’s just here where the supporting lead characters are somewhat non existent and that’s why it’s not very exciting as it could have been. Supporting leads are known to help the show keep the audience glued to the screens and that’s kind of just not there in this season.

I think what happened is that, Naagin5 was probably bought back to cover up for season 4 which could not get continued because of budget issues, so they changed the entire cast and got actors willing to work on a lower budget in the name of a new season. Other wise do you really think they would launch a new season of Naagin without taking a seasonal break? And the reason they are not focusing on the supporting cast is because they are rushing to finish the episodes as per the contract with the channel.
