Articles have said sharad's character will turn positive as story progresses, and even before reincarnation that elder cheel said of prophecy that indicated that aakesh will be led towards the path of light eventually... something like that. So all hints are pointing towards aakesh-nageshwari love/ hate love story in their rebirth as veer-bani, and that veer in his love for bani will turn good.

The intriguing part is if that is true, what will happen to hriday/ jai, because we have all seen that before re-birth, hriday was barely given any focus along side nageshwari and a love connection was not even built properly, which was clearly intentional by writers, because writers were putting all the focus on aakesh's one-sided love and obsession for nageshwari where he was even willing to happily be beaten up because he was so lost in nageshwari, whilst then also focusing on nageshwari's hate for aakesh. Hriday since the start has been sidelined and writers have not built up a connection between hriday-nageshwari to show them as each other's true love.

Defo ekta decided to go a different route and instead show the naagin falling in love with a natural enemy of hers, rather than the typical human or naag. And visibly it is doing the trick given the positive response aakesh/ veer character and his chemistry with lead naagin has been getting. This is what is setting this season apart from its predecessors, and if ekta is smart, seeing the positive response to the cheel-naagin pairing, she will make veer-bani as aakesh-nageshwari rebirths as the true pair of the show.
