Sorry about the spam of topics today. I usually wouldn't make so many different posts.
I had mentioned this as a comment as well..no matter who enters or who is shown as the Mahanaagrani/Mahanaagraj and other characters like that, nothing can change the fact that the success of Naagin 3 is attributed to its team who were there right from the start up until now.
Ekta Kapoor might not acknowledge this but N3's story wasn't about Rivanya or Roshiv, it was about Bela-Mahir, Vishakha-Vikrant and Sumitra. They were the centric characters and the actors who played these roles as well as the captain of the ship Ranjan Sir along with the rest of the cast and crew made this show top the charts for close to 6 months. At times the sloppy writing was purely saved by the director and the actors.
Fact remains that the concept of Naagrani was not even there in Season 2. If anyone is entitled to be the Mahanaagrani it has to be Bela's mother (Naagrani Maa AKA Melanie Nazareth) or her grandmother whose potrait used to be shown often in the haveli.
Giving credit where it's due is only fair. Businesses are run by and for money but at times it isn't so much as money that helps but the goodwill and support of the people you have worked with...acknowledging and appreciating the efforts of your team is the least you can do. Ekta Kapoor rarely did that for the N3 team despite of the gains she made from the show and its success.
