very true... he is not a teenager or even an younger adult... he is at age where his inherent wiring is about thiking, analyzing and until everything looks perfectly planned he cant act....
but these feelings for Vidhi have stirred up that planner in him.. he wants to act on his emotions... but shudders by just imagining the long term consequences ...
and today's monologue was so powerful to portray that fear of him so well....
i just want him to use SW's motivation and act upon his feelings at least once so that it wont hurt him that bad... baad me jo hoga dekha jayega... abhi ke liye he has to speak.. nahi to this unexpressed love will kill him inside
You have written things so well!👏
But tell me dear, what's in the writer's brain, when his inherent planning trait vanishes in thin air and he agrees for marriage to Amba in a jiffy? SW jo bol rahi thee, uska dialogue mujhe bahot achcha laga...."This self sacrificing act of yours is good but not Right!" Dev said earlier that I care for our family and Amba is not the right person for me; then what happens now? Ab kaha gaya uska shrewdness, his planning, his business tycoon trait???
His monologues and his pondering has gone on for quite a while now. So he decided Arjun is good for Vidhi. Then why get uncomfy so much when Vidhi takes his name or praises him as a friend?
IMO: Writers are not being able to keep any consistencies in characters; pehale HP ping-pong tha , kabhi iss side kabhi uss side.
Now Dev is becoming "Kabhi na, Kabhi Ha!"
But the acting from Iqbal is on point. Dil jeet liya Iqbal ne!
