Anu,FAB stuff👏
Megha does have that kind of power over Mohan ...that he likes to sort of get toyed around and it stems from the pt where Megs openly did not accept his proposal and he rebelled by marrying Miss Psycho and what thus followed was disastrous in more ways than one ...I think his present personality does stem from that mayb ...all that bit about low self esteem and masochistic stuff ie .Whenever I see Mohan with Megha i remember the following line :-
Zindagi mein to sabhi pyaar kiya karte hain ,main to mar kar bhi meri jaan tujhe chahoon ga😳😆
As for Megha I think she always perceived Mohan as the Mr Imperfect not worthy kid adult who fell for her and because her perception was more of like Amar types being the Perfect ones ... thus the whole lack of respect etc etc flowed but like some intelligent soul said
Dhoond ujde huye logon mein wafa ke moti
Ye khazane tujhe mumkin hai kharabon mein mile
Tu khuda hai na mera ishq farishton jaisa
Dono insaan hain to inum itne hijaabon mein mile
Aww thanks, Pooja😳
Such lovely lines...getting to see you in shaayari mode after many days🤗
I didn't quite get the meaning of the last line though...thoda simple kar ke samjhaao na, pleej😳😆
I completely agree with the rest of your post...the colossal massacring of Mohan's character that was the Rondee track did leave a huge scar...so he does have something to be guilty about for the rest of his life I guess...but isn't the whole show now supposed to be about pretending that Rondee and the rest of the crap never happened? LOL like Addu was just the be all and end all of the show since forever?
And yes, for Megha...RESPECT was only reserved for AMAR...and the idealism he represented...Mohan ofcourse was never that, never fit that definition so her "love" for Mohan didn't require respect she probably thought...he was always a nasamajh baccha that she thought she indulged briefly and now is blaming herself for that indulgence since it apparently cost her her son.
The thing is, the writers DO have some threads that can be woven together to actually make a CREDIBLE soulful story...about two imperfect ppl and the mistakes they made but are still perfect for each other...sadly that doesn't really come across...Mohan understands the meaning of loving someone inspite of, heck even FOR their flaws...He rises SO above in all this...he understands Megha's masochistic tendencies too...but Megha never gives him any credit for anything other than just ruining everything...
In season 1, this was shown in a light-hearted manner with her fumingly calling him MUSEEBAT...season 2 is all about making that light hearted banter into TRAGIC "reality"
