My mom prepares it with a different filling! Broken Channa dal boiled and mashed with jaggery syrup! I prefer this one than the coconut! Anyway whenever I try this the stuffing becomes very runny 'cos of the jaggery syrup so I end up eating the covering and stuffing separately 😆
