I totally agree- NBT has been THOROUGHLY satisfying for me, as a viewer this whole week- kudos to the entire unit 👏
Loved the first MM scene...possibly my fav. in this epi even though the last portion was great too...but this scene I LOVED...Mohan grumbling to Megha..."maine kaha tha na phone rakho"😆...and Megha patiently hearing out his ranting...and the bit where he goes, "Kal 5-10 minute ke liye yeh naatak theek tha...*pauses...remembers...smiles*...aur mazaa bhi aaya"...TOO ADORABLE a bit😆😆...and the return of aap/tum in this scene...YAY! I loved the way Megha replied to him that this was necessary to exorcise the ghosts of his past...that when relationships break up, there are latent feelings/misunderstandings left that need to be cleared out to achieve peace of mind...and Mohan listening to all this in awe...and thinking in his head, "aap jo bhi bolti hain woh sunne mein itna achha kyun lagta hai?...aur dil karta hai aankhein band karke uspe vishwaas kar loon"...awww Monuuu tu toh bilkul kaam se gaya beta😆😆...He's beyond lattu over Megha now😆...and I loved the end with Megha telling him that they need to finish their work and leave by five and he nods like an obedient good boy finally...He should KNOW that he has to fall in line ultimately...Megha ki baat toh maanni padegi😆
Anu, what I ABSOLUTELY LOVED about that bit was the way Mohan was nodding sweetly like an obedient kid listening to his favorite teacher when Megha was telling him all that, although he protested that they should not be taking this drama too far, initially. And you know what, I especially loved the dialogues there - they were not random diaolgues just thrown in to make Megha-Mohan meet Rash somehow, they had a meaning and were sensible, Megha immediately sensed that Mohan is yet to make his peace with his past and she explained that to him very sweetly without being too obvious 😆. I am toh COMPLETELY FIDA over the way Mohan said "aur mazaa bhi aaya" , it was TOOO ADORABLE!
Renu and her attempts to become SALEEM🤣...freakin HOWLARIOUS...I have to say the family scenes today were fun to watch even though I was mainly waiting for the MM scenes...but these bits didn't feel filler-ish...Renu's fab comic timing...the entire family having fun at her expense...it was hilarious to watch
Tell me about it , I did not feel like it was a filler either , when the chair broke and Sanjay blames her WAJAN for that I was🤣. And Jeeji's dialogue about calamity and 2012 when Renu was trying to skip over the ropes to get SALEEM had me holding my tummy in laughter, and also when Renu keeps saying everyone is just jealous of her being HEALTHY 🤣, the only thing that didn't make any sense to me there was Guru's entry, I thought he would also join in the family's amusement somehow but his appearance did not have any purpose to it 😆
Back in the office, more progress in the Amar investigation by Karan-Mohan...good to see...and the way MM slipped out of the office ek ke baad ek...LOL cute...but Prateek's dialogue was ominous...he's noticing the co-incidences...he'll get back at them soon I guess.
Hmm yeah- see this is what I love about NBT, there's BALANCE, the makers did not forget Prateek merely because that fiasco was over nor are they dwelling on it too much with Prateek acting like a vicious villain. Plus they also showed some progress with respect to M's investigation about Amar! Whoa! So one of the three guy's with Amar is dead now, seems like Dinanath is capable of going to any length to save his name. It makes me think Anu, is it *gulp* possible that the script for this show had been written much in advance and the makers are sticking to a bound script without falling prey to the TRP pressures? The last few episodes especially, have given me that feeling!
You missed the bit where she shows her watch to Mohan and sort of commands like a wife that it is 5 now - a glimpse of M-M's future anyone? 😆
To finally MM's unintentional little coffee-date😆...Mohan pulled out a chair for Megha to sit! Awww😆...Loved the initial awkwardness b/w them in that bit as they realize that they are unintentionally out for a coffee together until Rashmi shows up😆...Mohan grumbling about Rashmi and her excuses of being late...followed by Rashmi showing up and making those EXACT excuses...and MM turning to each other in shared bemusement...adorable...honestly that SHARING was the theme of the entire last bit...Rashmi would come up with random things from time to time and each time in response, MM would turn to each other and have their own private silent communication going on that Rashmi could never be privy to in a million years😆...
I LOVED how the whole Rashmi interaction kind of painted a picture of how their relationship progressed over time -from their first encounter to being Mr and Mrs. Vyas..oops Bhatnaagar now 😆, the silent communication is what makes M-M CLICK- that is what the THEME of the show is , isn't it? I must say, Akanksha stole the show there, she overshadowed Kunal in that department- she showed varied expressions only through her eyes- from naughty to bemused to sweetness it was really enjoyable watching them together, playing Rash, as a formidable team 👏
I loved MM reminiscing back to their first meeting when prompted by Rashmi asking about their love story😆...what a different take for both of them now as they look back and smile over it together...there was such FONDNESS there now...pehli baar mile the toh they hated each other😆...Megha saying she thought he was a lafangaa...and Mohan accidentally making that "Mrs. Vy" wala slip and Megha KICKING him under the table🤣...
OMG! That was another favorite bit of mine- it was such a spontaneous reaction from Megha, something which we get to see very rarely from Megha, because usually she weighs everything out before reacting, I doubt if she is going to apologize to him for that later 🤣🤣🤣
so he amends it to MADAM...aww I was hoping he'll say Megha again😆...anyways beyond all this there were just so many moments of shared smiles, looks b/w them today that it's hard to list all of them out...lol...another one I loved was the one where Rashmi tries to make a jab at Megha's simple cotton saris and Megha turns that around on her and says I used to wear jeans...Mohan's expression in response to this😆😆...but then Mohan wanted me to wear saris so I wear those now...lolll...awesomely written scene...
The way I describe that scene is Rash throwing a dart at her, Megha catching it effortlessly, neatly wrapping it and throwing it back at her with FULL FORCE. Megha was enjoying playing that game with Rashmi, the more Rashmi got insecure, the more it boosted Megha's confidence, she was an unstoppable force, she was like a sports car that had picked up its full speed 😆
Megha continues to be in top form moving further in the story from yesterday's scene...haha...so today we do see glimpses that Rashmi is lying about her "perfect" life when Mohan asks her about her life in NY...but she keeps turning the convo around to making jabs at MM or talking about her own past with Mohan...
I swear Megha is in top gear right now and I AM LOVING IT. Obviously Rash is hiding something about her "perfect" life, I have my doubts about her oh-so-awesome fiance too!
To finally the end as per the promo/precap...the 'din mein 100 baar ILU' line...haha...and the kids showing up with PERFECT timing😆...and as expected, the epi ended there...now we have to wait till next week...loll...MM's shared looks of "ab hum kya karein" in the end were awesome😆
And also the way , M stepped up for himself for the first time when he retorted "woh jhaadu karti hain aur main poncha" in response to R's "tum sabzee laatey hongey aur Megha khaana banaati hogi" dig 🤣🤣🤣. I liked the fact that they did not cook up some weird story about their first encounter in an attempt to oversell their drama to Rashmi, M-M seem so comfortable in their skin while playing this all out while Rash is the one feeling so uneasy and insecure
Oh and the precap...with Mohan again almost calling her Mrs. Vyas and amending it to MERI Mrs😆...and it seems like Nanhi is in on the act full on already and is helping him to avoid Rashmi but it seems like now the ENTIRE Bhatnagar family will have to go to this farmhouse together...woah😆
Hahaha that was expected wasn't it? Nanhi would immediately start playing along, I am SO waiting to catch Monday's episode. I WANT TO see how Nanhi is going to handle Rashmi, it is going to get all the more interesting with Megha glorifying her "hubby" and Nanhi glorifying her "daddy" , the TRIO collectively rubbing Rash's condescending nose in the mud - OMG, I CAN'T WAIT! 😆
