Thanks, Manali๐Ÿค— So glad to see you writing more for the show these days...out of lazy hibernation at last? :P loll

Thanks anu ...Haha I guess so ๐Ÿ˜› Ek to I can't write as well as you guys do... so I just like to read..kyunki what do i add...you guys write sooo well...you, Jzee, LadyM and everyone else... plus I really loved the last two epis...isliye thoda laziness durr karke I wrote so much ๐Ÿ˜† (for my standards ๐Ÿ˜†)

Yeah it seemed like they dubbed for Megha in the last scene although I have to say that compared to most shows where they choose a VERY different voice for dubbing, yahaan the dubbing wasnt' that bad...not jarring atleast.

Ya it wasn't very bad...the voice was like jaise megha ko zukaam ho gaya hai and then she is speaking ๐Ÿ˜† so it wasn't too bad...

WORD to the bit in bold...I love the way he looks at her...so much affection and love in it without him realizing it...loll...his face literally sunaaoes the whole daastaan...and yeah Megha too smiles back at him but in a different way...there is affection there now as well but obviously Mohan is gone on a higher level๐Ÿ˜†

Loved that bit you pointed out about Mohan being impressed by Megha's haazir-jawaabi too...loll...kya smoothly she was making up lies today...Mohan ko bhi maat de di nautanki mein...as if he wasn't already so madly in love with her, now there are even more things about her impressing him๐Ÿ˜†

I think Megha must have been very mischievous and full of life before Amar's death... yeah Mohan to total latoo hai..I guess he will realize that he loves her very soon

I love that back and forth too...that each time Rashmi would bring down his spirits, Megha would revive them...that dementor/Patronus analogy really is perfect๐Ÿ˜†

Yeah it was funny...how he will start smiling the moment megha speaks ๐Ÿ˜† I can definitely foresee this Rashmi trying to enter Mohan's life again...aaj hi pata chal gaya that she is not exactly with her life in NY ...tabhi wapas aayi hai

You know I HAD to tease you about it ever since you told me your family calls you angrez over it...LOLL...couldn't resist.

I'm a just a keeeding yaar๐Ÿค—๐Ÿ˜†...just read your essay for today...awesome as always๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘...loved how you described Mohan's thought process in the first scene and like you said yesterday only that he wouldn't be comfortable going with this drama any longer...and I love the nuance in his expressions even as he's in awe of Megha while listening to her as you pointed out...it's not a standard "smitten" expression...there is just SO much in it...on multiple levels...yes he's falling for her but WHAT he admires about her is just SO sweet...and honestly I also loved listening to Megha in that scene...kitne achhe se samjhaa rahi thi๐Ÿ˜†...and yeah that "theek hai?" and good boy nod in response from Mohan is totally becoming their thing...lol

AWWW! Yes another awww epi ... its amazing how they end the week with an awww epi letting audience keep that aww feeling fresh till the forthcoming Monday ๐Ÿ˜†
Awesome episode today ... As usual loved Mohan-Megha scenes to the core (when do I dont?๐Ÿคฃ) ... I think today the script was really really strong ... like the dialogues ... and even editing ... they cleverly added the Renu and family bits and it didnt bore me at all! LOL it was actually fun watching her trying to become saleem ๐Ÿ˜†

Coming to my MM scenes, I loved the bit in the first scene where Megha tells him it becomes necessary to sort out some leftover things even after a relationship ends ... bang on! wonderful thought and wonderfully portrayed in the rest of the epi! Even that bit was so cute when they both leave office back to back ๐Ÿ˜† Prateek for sure is into some plot making sooner; but I want to forget all that for time being :D What an awesome jugalbandi of Team MM v/s Team Rashmi! ๐Ÿคฃ I was all the way grinning ๐Ÿ˜† I esp loved Mohan say main jhaadu lagata hoon aur ye pochha ๐Ÿคฃ Oh my God the way Rashmi was totally shut up ๐Ÿ˜† The scene where they both get FB of their first meet was adorable ... aww the smiles they both have on their face! priceless! Like always the thing that gave a natural feel to all this not making it OTT were the natural reactions of both Kunal and Akanksha when either were flaunting Rashmi

What I hated was Akanksha's dubbing It wasnt quite ruining but its like we are used to her voice and it kept popping up in my mind every now and then that oh its dubbed its dubbed ๐Ÿ˜†
At some places I really liked na bole tum with lyrics in the bg ... but thank God they played the de re na at the places it couldnt have been replacable! I like that music more ๐Ÿ˜ณ๐Ÿ˜† The end was "hilarious" ๐Ÿ˜† yup it was actually hilarious to see the kids running towards MM and MM's expressions turning into what the ... ???๐Ÿคฃ On Monday Nanhi is gonna contribute her bit in avoiding another meeting but seems like we shall be having another rocking meet when MM wil meet Rashmi's fiance ๐Ÿ˜† I really cant wait for it and I know it probably wont but I still hope it takes place the next friday only because it makes my weekend too good *ducks to avoid joote* ๐Ÿ˜†

Dude the moment that coffee vs chai came up, I smacked my head - ke Nur ko toh milgaya mauka ๐Ÿ˜† ab itna main tumhe jaanti hu ๐Ÿ˜†

Khair - was rewatching the scene and I just realized MORE to gush about!!!

Mohan: ab toh aisa lagta ke paida hote hi tumse shaadi hogayi thi

Rashmi: Mohan jaise unromantic aadmi
Mohan: looks away
Megha: Sach?! Aise the ye?!
Mohan - Shoots right back up with "ab kya naya pata chalega mujhe about myself, I wonder" ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ ๐Ÿคฃ ๐Ÿคฃ ๐Ÿคฃ ๐Ÿคฃ

Megha - Mohan se zyada romantic to koi HO hi nahi sakta ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ ๐Ÿคฃ ๐Ÿคฃ ๐Ÿคฃ ๐Ÿคฃ
[Okay - is ke reaction mein EK BAAR replay audio to banta hai!!!]

Yaaar!!! The script for this scene was ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ ๐Ÿคฃ ๐Ÿคฃ ๐Ÿคฃ ๐Ÿคฃ

But agreeing with you Nur, the opening MM scene still wins! There was just... so much MM movement there.

Btw, I how cute is it, that MM sitting on a coffee table have a moment of awkward silence, esp Megha, before Mohan breaks ice - but the moment Rashmi comes in, Megha is like HIGH on endless acting potions ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ ๐Ÿคฃ ๐Ÿคฃ ๐Ÿคฃ ๐Ÿคฃ Ghar par biwi free ka show dekhraha hai, yahan Mohan bhaiya ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ ๐Ÿคฃ ๐Ÿคฃ ๐Ÿคฃ ๐Ÿคฃ

LMAO oh what an EPIC contrast from that "LOWE" wala RANT of his๐Ÿคฃ

btw on a more serious note, I did feel SO bad in that bit when Rashmi called him unromantic and it's like it hurts...not that he WANTED to be romantic or whatever but Rashmi just counting out his "shortcomings" or whatever but then Megha saves the day by calling him THE most romantic guy ever๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜†...in all this I love how it isn't even about him being "unromantic or romantic" but simply that Megha said to it to make him HAPPY...to bring that SMILE back on his face...awww๐Ÿ˜†

So it is Megha's time to return the favor - and she does it with an aplomb! Megha clearly took the baazi IMO from convincing a very petulant Mohan to seek closure with Rash to fighting a war of words with Rash. We got to see Megha's spontaneous, spunky, yet stately side today. Even Mohan could help but be amused with her contradicting Rash's outlandish statements. Today I did not see a vulnerable Mohan as much as I saw yesterday. I mean, yeah, his hurt is apparent. Old wounds do not heal that quickly. I saw a very awkward and even slightly embarrassed Mohan whenever Rash opened her icky mouth to say something provocative - as if he was almost introspecting what made him fall in love with a girl like Rash in first place. I don't know may be its too early to say. But every time he looked at Mirchi Madam, he looked at her with new founded respect, admiration and even a hint of love, as if Rash the brash mouthed female is 10,000 miles away and he is alone with Megha. Even Rash must've realized it, as she kept on getting pricklier, making Megha even more defensive. All in all, it made for a very awkward coffee...oops chai date.

Excellent point Lady M ๐Ÿ‘ I was even thinking of how interesting it is/was that for all the OTT romantic mentions and claims that Rashmi made, Mohan did not seem "embarrassed" at being revealed as being that kind of guy once! Everytime he looked away, it was more about, like you said, like his brief moment wondering what his past had REALLY been about, and if all the present he was investing to that loss was even worth - maybe not thinking it out so explicitly, but Rashmi's extended claims DID make him think. And everytime he looked to Megha post one of the loud claims, there was a moment between them, which was SO comfortable, and that is how far they've come! Imagine someone telling Megha about Mohan's "romantic dates" some weeks ago, and his utter jumping shock at her reaction and all that? Today - there was a mutual understanding between them, of how the descriptions were from when Mohan was once a boy, and how Megha just shrugged off that part, because everyone is once a teen - and interestingly Rashmi's emphasis to all that now, makes her someone who never grew beyond that immature age!

Oh and - I was also thinking of how Rashmi makes ALL their love memories sound SO dreamy... it's almost like she's baiting them without realizing to ask her, WHY she walked out of something that was so ideal to her! Something that she's STILL gushing about like it wasn't an EX bond, but something about her present!

You know just on a different note...taking off on the point Jzee made about a MATURE story...it was so visible today also even in what was otherwise a nautanki light-hearted scene...but it was HANDLED maturely...the way this show has managed to depict MM as a pair that doesn't need "ooh aaah you touched my hand, your dupatta blew over my face and we're in love" kind of crap...

There is such MATURITY in the way they even LOOK at each other...so many shows on TV claimed to have brought in "mature" stories ki revolution...but THIS is the only show that has managed to get it right...and ironically HOW? With the male lead being this bindaas man-child and the female lead being this dignified widow...you couldn't find a more unconventional pair dhoondne se bhi...and THEY are the ones that show more maturity together as a pair than many of the so called "mature" pairs on TV.

Exactly Nur! This could have been SUCH a cliche and juvenile track, because when you just think about the idea objectively, there is a childish impulse to it. But that's where the "handling" comes to play. And Megha's character is being shown with such a strict boundary about her purpose here - which is SOLELY to lift Mohan in his OWN opinion! The fact that it MUST be done using Rashmi as a medium is a given, because she a singular pull down factor in Mohan's history - but the way Megha continuously focuses not on getting back at Rashmi but elevating Mohan is evidence of her maturity as opposed to Rashmi who - as Lady M aptly put - gets more pricked by the second! I like that Megha never loses sight of her purpose, and even as she gets an evident kick out of the "drama" she never needs to exceed it beyond need! Point after point, she strengthens Mohan's position, before Rashmi, and more importantly, in Mohan's own opinion - because he's REALLY in need of this boost! He's been in need of it for a long time, the reappearance of Rashmi has only made that need visible in a raw manner! While Rashmi is insecure in an opportunist sense, Mohan has lived with this wound of "not being worthy enough" so long, that even though he manages to live day after day without being constantly aware of its weight, it takes a mere mention or reminder for the thought to flutter back, and he may have locked it up to lay latent in some corner inside him, he has never really managed to get rid of it!

And that's the closure he really needs! A good and final riddance of the notion that his worth could be so questionable! Megha reinstates that faith - JUST like Mohan did for her, in her position where for the nth time, she faced an ugly betrayal in yet another form!

And SUCH a bond, is mature. The bizarre overlap of adult and mature on so many other shows which claim to be mature is such a misleading concept - and the sad irony of convincing the audience that the same drama from a teen show wrapped up in a new pack with older leads becomes "mature" is ... well, a ridiculous farce!

But let's stick to NBT. I guess the most natural part of this "mature" show is the fact that they can balance the existence of a child within each adult at some point. Whether they are little girl fears of Megha beneath her poise, or the blatant klutzy boy that Mohan is, despite his sheer acumen otherwise - they make for credible characters, who have their weak childlike sides, and their strengths of having lived through times and circumstances! And the way they both bring out both the innocence and the sensibility in each other to the best, is such a wonderful bond to watch blossoming! โ˜บ๏ธ

--
*Edit*

ps: was watching the opening scene yet again - and the blend of Mohan's boy like reverence and man like admiration for Megha is just... so... beautiful! Sigh...

WORD...beautifully said...this is what you call WELL ROUNDED characters...who have all kinds of sides to them...and they both balance each other's respective sides out so well...when one's a child, the other's not...perfect balance of innocence and wisdom or sensibility as you said.

And yes the handling of this track...which can be SO nautanki on paper is SURPRISINGLY natural...as you described perfectly in this post...the counter reactions from Megha to Rashmi...strengthening Mohan's position...the way Mohan looks at Megha...impressed by her steady stream of lies, touched by the genuineness of friendship and care behind them...all of it...it floors me that we are getting natural evolution b/w this highly unconventional pair of individuals...that maturity of the thought process here is what I especially love.

*Edit: He's TOO adorable in the first scene...the grumpy sulky boy๐Ÿ˜†...and the way he said, "kyun nahin rakhaa phone?"๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜†...and then the segue into the reverence for her as you said...beautiful.
