Exactly!!! Beyond that brief while when she still expected Mohan to go back at Rashmi, from the point that Megha realized he was just going to take it like that - it was like she was itching to do it FOR him instead; and then it just jumped at her, the chance! She could never deliver ALL that she wanted to get out of her system and pile it onto that chit of a girl as a colleague or as a friend - because at some level it would actually come off as ... I dunno, standing in defense for him because he couldn't! Which is the truth, at this point - but Megha knows and realizes better than to give Rashmi that sadistic satisfaction and pulling off a Mrs. Bhatnagar and rubbing it in is OBVIOUSLY such an ace! So much for Rashmi's full blown meri jitni achi blah blah *mega rolls eyes*
On a side note - it's one thing that Rashmi is probably going to wonder how and when Megha became Mohan type choice (given that she treats herself as his once upon a time trophy win) but it makes me think back of Mummy's statement yesterday, about knowing that Megha isn't/wasn't Mohan's type! And somehow, I just feel bad for Mohan, because beyond a certain level, literally no one really understands what he's made of! ... Actually, well, there is always know it all Gurudev 😆 Khair, Mummy probably judges his choice based off Rashmi instance. But that's what is... I dunno, not a good feeling to me! Rashmi judging Mohan's choice having been that once is one thing. Mummy doing the same is just kuch zada hi shallow! Of course Mohan doesn't seem like he ever made an easy kid to be looked out for!
On another side note, I was seriously wondering how and why Mohan actually was even with Rashmi, ever, leave alone THAT serious about her! At some point I guess, they connected as two ambitious individuals - because when you think about it, they are both ambitious, only in very different ways. While Rashmi is the obvious kind of ambitious character with lofty dreams, Mohan has some serious and rigorous ambitions about fixing the society as an individual. His "idealism" as Rashmi calls it, is his obsessive ambition. He could easily have been that college student who dreamed BIG like most students do, but dreamed big for the big picture, and not just I, me, myself! I guess they came together as two capable and motivated people with a vision for themselves - except, the visions were never going to concur, and the fall out was evident!
Somehow, I just feel satisfied about the way Rashmi has been shown even just so far. She's not a vamp or a negative character. She is the kind of insecure person who in the hold of her insecurity can be led to drastic moves! Somewhere, just like Mohan and Megha are characters you can imagine as next door people, Rashmi feels like a very commonplace kind of person too - too warped up with her own self to ever actually grow! The fact that she let go of a guy like Mohan is testimony of how she doesn't really need an external force to harm her own cause - it's something she is wholly capable of all by herself! Not because Mohan is the lead of this show - but completely because of the person he's made out to be.
