Anwesha is an upcoming singer while shreya is a well established singer..
Wats there wrong in comparing Anwesha voice as shreya and wats wrong in that if legends like shankarji said if there is any singer after shreya goshal that should be Anwesha..

Guys just feel proud on her,this Angel really amazing,so she getting praised wat she desrves,sure by god grace ,she will shine in her singing career as shreya..

we should proud on her and being a fan of her we should ve to give her ideas and strength to fullfill her dreams,yes we all Anwesha fans think as after shreya is thr is any singer it should be Anwesha..there is nothing wrong in that bec MD as shankarji too said those words..

She got a lot of offers for stage shows etc. but she chose to concentrate on honing her skills. She got great guidance from her Gurus and tremendous support from her parents. Then she also got the best possible break and became an overnight star. Still, she did not get many offers after Devdas and had to wait till Jism came her way and she proved her versatility. Rest as they say is history.

Now, people start looking at Shreya's achievements at such a young age and start comparing her to legends like Lata ji and Asha ji etc. However, she herself is humble and considers even Alka Yagnik much better than her let alone Lata ji. I believe this humility has helped her in maintaining her focus. Anwesha too seems to have the same qualities. So, my final comment is give her time and lets see where she ends up, because talent alone does not lead to success. People said Vinod Kambli was more talented than Sachin and we all know what happened there. Anyways, so i wish Anwesha all the best and hope she achieves gr8 success in life.

She has always been on the top of my favorites list since the past decade. And one day somebody sent me a link of Mere Dholna sung by Anwesha. And with regards to creating her own identity, as I see her grown up, I see a jhalak of Kavita Krishnamurthy in her voice especially when she sings Kavita's songs. I would consider Kavita as another great singer of today. A combination of Shreya and Kavita would be mindblowing! But yes, she really needs to cut down on her shows and concentrate on her riyaaz so she can fulfill her dreams and ours for her.
