The news that he won the award for the duet was given to me by the same person who posted the results of Shaan's win immediately after the shooting. Since earlier both Debojit and Anwesha won for the duet, "Tere Mere Milan ki ye...", my logical thought was that both the persons who sing the duet normally get the award.

If he has actually won it for an individual song, I apologize in advance, but my post was solely based on the news I got.

Well, I too really dont know if its only Harshit who got the award. Yes, you are right when you talk of logic w.r.t. Debo n Anwesha extendling to Harshit n Anwesha.
However, not always the male n female voices can sing the same song equally well to leave an impact on listeners' mind n heart.
Some examples I can think of are...

- ek din bik jaayega maati ke mol - sung by Mukesh n Lata. Mukesh's voice n singing left a far lasting effect on listener's mind n heart.

- Mere naina saawan bhado - Kishore n Lata - Kishore got award for this but not Lata. Also this song suited his voice better n the haunting effect came out better than a female voice

- Kuch na kaho - Kumar Sanu got award for this but not Lata

Similarly, its not necessary that both voices get the award for same song, sung as duet or separately. |coming to Harshit n Anwesha, lets wait till we hear them sing...😊

It's just that when I heard that both of them got a standing ovation from the judges, I naturally assumed that they both created magic in the duet.

I'm extremely happy for Harshit.👏 And I'm also very happy that each and every member of Shaan's team got an award. Just goes to show that Shaan is the best captain and has lead and guided his team so well!
