Harshit Saxena was one of the many contestants who participated in Voice of India, the most watched musical competition in India. His passion for singing began showing in his early school days when he was in class 8th. He was and is a diehard fan of Kishore Kumar. After Voice of India, he was a contestant in Jo Jeeta Wahi Superstar (2008) and now he is there on Music Ka Mahamuqqabla in Shaan's team.

Tell us about your journey in Music Ka Mahamuqqabla?
"Up till now, I am enjoying my journey in this show as the concept of the show is very unique from other shows. This show is all about teamwork. It is a great learning experience from my captain Shaan."

Who according to you is your best competitor in the show?
"No one, because all are showing their talent and I am hoping the best team will win this Muqqabla."

With whom do you share a good bonding?
"I think my team and so off-course Shaan sir has become very close to me because from him, I have learnt so many things about life, industry and so on."

What has been your proudest moment?
Still waiting because I haven't yet witnessed such a moment in my life but I am sure I will get my proud moment."

What do you think of Music Ka Mahamuqqabla as a concept?
Frankly speaking, it is one of the biggest reality shows in the history of TV, where great music stalwarts come on the same platform and display their talent.

What message would you want to give to your fans?
"Keep watching Music Ka Mahamuqqable and keep cheering for Shaan's Strikers and of course me."

Any Bollywood projects?
"There are few but its too early comment on my playback projects.."

Harshit Am a Great Fan of urs from VoI 1 season..U D One Who gets many appreciation from the judges who is senior to all judges from MKMM..Harshit ur voice is really a man voice..but peoples r trying to baised on u lot with ur marks and performance in MKMM....God Will Be with U Harshit..

I would say that ur Performance from JJWS and VOI 1 r really amazing and on that season ur d VOI w/o any doubt..

Harshit in MKMM ur Performance " Kurbaan hua song,and shankar mahadevan song" which u sang in first episode was mind blowing.."Maula maula" song too superb but u dint get points wat u deserve..

Ur Dj Round song from Love Aaj kal was good,zara se dil me was good..

But i want to see ur more performance as u used to do in VOI,JJWS and as Kurbaan hua from MKMM was Mind Blowing..

Am Damn Sure u r going to Rock in semi's By Grace Of God..God Bless u Harshit ..

In MKMM My Fav Male Contestant is Only U Harshit..U R D Best Performer..will see u soon Rocking..

Nowadays i start liking debojit too..Debo doing great..

In Chupa Rustum..Shadab and Rehman was amazing..

I haven't followed Voice of India, but I heard from so many people that he was the best and deserved to win.

I'm so glad that he came back with a bang and won the singer of the day. Am waiting to see his and Anwesha's duet performance.

Yes, I heard that it was for the duet. They should have also given it to Anwesha in that case. But I suppose they got tired of giving it to her every time.

awww lovely post afreen and sumit kumkum, m so happy to see him back .... and i assure u if once Anwesha and Harshit came for Aamne samne round they will surely rock the stage .. they have such an awesome voices... they could'nt wn in past but m sure that this time Shaan will help them alot to win and they WILL win!!! INSHAALLAH. My best wishes r with them.🤗

😆...it just shows your blind bias towards Anwesha. You havent even heard the song she sang with Harshit and say that she too should have got the best singer award!!😕

I too like Anwesha's singing but not blindly.

He surely was the best singer during VOI (with due respects to Late Ishmeet) and deserved to win. I fail to understnad why people say that he copies KK. Every established singer has some idol to look up to and get inspired by. Even KK had KL Saigal as his idol and in his initial days, his singing had a lot of influence of KLS.

I can understand him supporting Vineet but not at the cost of trashing Harshit's singing. Vineet n Harshit both have the strongest potential to come in main-stream playback singing and they will near future.

To that extent, I am really glad that Harshit n his singing has been finally recognized. I am waiting to hear him.

When is the telecast...Saturday , right?
