Hey Bamboo.. loook i dont have anything against Shaan... but i just dont support his emotional gimmicks to get votes.

it doesn't matter whether he annouced it before or after the voting .. it was still uncalled for.. why bring in any type of familiy drama or issues in a singing show... Honestly i wouldn't have cared if the show was on Debu's personal ram kahani.. 🥱..

Anyway each one can have their favourites.......there is no need to attack members just because their favourite is different !!!

Hahah.. Susan.. thats what happens when people write in a ballistic "fake" manner.. they can't seem to remember what they've written in the past or what they stand for presently.. 😆

Thanks bambooshoot,some few peoples r living in this world who dono the humanity,and a new born relationship between a father and a daughter,just think how they using such a wonderfull moment to sympathys,dramas,that shows their talent and views of wat kind of peoples they r..bambooshoot god will takecare of them,just leav,they just give their best to use such a wonderful situation to dramaqueen or drama and is a man called be as dramaqueen,or sympathy..arguing to brainless people is full of waste..they dont ve humanity and they will call drama for a father and daughter relation to sympathy many more that too wen captain encourage to his teammate after giving points,wen things goes on them they will understand bambooshoot..give ur best comment for ur fan shaan..

I don't agree shaan can b categorized that way when it's himeshs field of talking all the way.. Even mika tried to take sympathy votes by public outburst.. Coz debojit did sing exceptionally n got good score he reasoned the motivation of his to proove his child n it was only once.. The repeated chilana n sympathy drama queen is himesh.. Of all the captains he is not arrogant nor bootful nor dominating nor irritating but infact very balanced captain who knows to support his team in this game show without over doing, to b tactful n have ease with words is not wrong nor bad.. That's his experience lessons n he's good at it.. Atleast better than being arrogant ignorant n bigmouth .

Shaan is a drama king? Indian reality show mein drama?! NAHIN! Never seen that before! As Himessbhai would say: 'IT'S A MISTAAAKE!'

Cumon guys - drama is what these reality shows are made for. MKMM is just another popularity contest with singing as a backdrop/premise. Gajjennddrra Sinngghh has made it a full-on masala ride by adding the extra elements of inter-captain competition, public scoring and a live concert atmosphere. So this is what happens:

The captains cannot depend on the public giving good marks for good singing. The public responds to hype as well as singing. So judges have to use hype to get public votes. Examples: Shaan comments on Debojit's personal life. Shankar calls Rahul the best Rafi singer after Sonu. Himesh hugs Vineet in a very overt way. (Too many examples to be listed here)

These are all ways of hyping up the audience to give high marks. They are all tools in boosting contestant popularity. And guess what, it works! Debojit, Rahul and Vineet went on to get amazing marks from the public.

Conclusions:

1. Don't single out Shaan - they're all doing it. And if they think it's gonna get them points, they'll do it more often.

2. Don't question Shaan's motives. Yes, he wanted high scores from the public. But that's because he genuinely liked the performance and didnt want his teammate's work to go unnoticed. Same goes for the other captains.

3. If you or I were in the captains' shoes, the pressure could easily get to us too. The format of the show makes singing ability and popularity/hype equally important factors. So captains are forced to strengthen their team in both ways - singing-wise and popularity-wise.

Now, overanalysis over. Let's all relax and just enjoy the show. And let's not get personal about the judges or contestants.

@xobile.. we are talking about Shaan here because we used to love him before as the topic starter has mentioned. The Shaan I knew before was not like this 😭 and I still do like him as a singer but not as a captain in this show. Hope you understand the difference.

And I agree that Shaan is not as bad as Himesh.. but Himesh has always been like this.. so no surprises there. It's Shaan who surprised me 😔

And Shankar promoting Rahul is not that bad because it's on the basis of music and singing and not on personal life... hope it stays like that 😉
