Shaan jo bhi kiya, accha nahin kiya. nautanki aur dramabaazi karne laga Shaan. Shahid is just participating in Josh. Nobody cares for Shahid's singing. Nobody votes for Shahid because he sang well. Aur, rahi support ki, Shahid was "supporting" Mohit and Genelia was "supporting" Shaan. Fact is, they were there to supporttheir movie "chance pe dance". I don't know why Shaan thought Shahid will get votes . If that is true, Mohit would get all the votes doesn't matter whether Shahid sits on Mohit's side or sings along with Moht. Another fact is Shaan won and Shaan got more votes so his theory that People voted for Shahid was also wrong. I don't know how people can say he is nice and he is this and that without meeting him or spending time with him. How you tell just based on TV? May be he nice, may be not. But don't assume.

I know the thread starter's problem with Shaan is that he used emotional atyachaar to get points for his team.

Well yes he did. But as we have seen with people like Ameya, Hemachandra, Himani, Aabhas etc., the public score is not always rooted in the singing or performance but on other factors such as likeability. Shreya even complained on twitter that Aabhas did not get fair dues for his singing from the public. So if Shaan does use emotional and personal details to get the audience's votes, I think it's fine. At least at the end of it, Debojit gets a fair score.

This format gives more than 50% of the judging rights to lay people, who are not musicians and who can't even hear the singing properly coz of all the noise and shor-sharaba. There is no guarantee that good singing will be rewarded fairly in such a format.

If the judges use 'emotional gimmicks' to redress the balance and to produce fair results, then thats fine by me.

Shaan is a very well mannered cool humble captain.. What he said to Sahid that was a joke.. Both were laughing .. Shaan didnt say anything seriously .. Shaan is the '' Best Captain'' Matured and level headed

And to those people whom i blasted shankar just to check there too at the very first too i was in support of my those fav after shaan and shreya it was shankar..and i point him from the very first show itself shankar is talented singer,but that above person has to go through that he compare shankar and he destryed shaan as much he can with shaan haters and annoyed shaan fans,i like shankar but never much attractable with his team,this was my very first comment and still to those fake members,who caused my thought in to fake manner..,ha ha..

How will it be fair results when one captain is using emotional gimmicks to gain more points for their team and then questioning other teams points calling it leniency points? 😕

I still think Shaan is a nice, genuine guy. And I don't find his dramebaazi offputting. I can totally understand his dilemma - he feels that his team members will not get the scores they deserve if the public is left to itself. So he tries to get the public on his side. And he gets upset when his singers have a disadvantage coz Shahid Kapur's star power is performing against them.

Aah the perils of audience voting/polling/scoring reality shows. True talent can hardly ever win. Singers have to become PR kings and learn to project themselves properly to win. This is why we've had undeserving Indian Idols, Voices of India and SaReGaMaPa Challengers (? if thats what theyre called lol).

So Shaan asked the judges if Ameya was being given an advantage. And they said no. So he said OK.

What is the big deal in that???

If Shaan has fallen from hero to zero in your eyes then fair enough. Thats great. But I still respect him.

*(Shreya and Mika later said that they had not been lenient, and even HR later said that his mark was consistent with his previous scores.)

I wouldn't have had any problem with Shaan if he was only supporting his team members but pulling other team down is not very sporting according to me. And if Mohit had Shahid singing for him.. Shaan too had Genelia blowing kisses for Shaan's team.. so why is one thing acceptable and other is not?

I know that these reality shows can never have truly deserving winner... but that does not mean we just have to accept whatever drama they create on stage and not to say anything about it..

No xobile.. thankfully Shaan has not fallen at zero yet in my eyes. But I hope it's not a crime to say that I didn't like certain behavior of him.. and that definitely does not mean that I hate him 😊
