n her bid of idealism.. D has opened a can of worms.. she hasnt thought it through.. what will Sabina coming back and entering the family achieve for ANYONE.. even VV.. on the contrary it only wrecks.. IMVs line.. I wont let my LIFE'S worth of an investment fall apart just for one woman (one love story.. chand lamhon wala)

Yes , if D has one flaw it is her idealism .

The can of worms she has opened by bringing Sabina is gonna spill over to an extent that there will be carnage .

She brought her in V's life . Then she brought her in V's house by deciding she will live here . Then she is deciding to bring her in V villa as a bahu without asking IMV and to top it all she is promising the public that I will bring her back to this country .

Honestly speaking , Sabina did NOT want ANY of this . She was OUT of V's life , she did NOT want to return to do films , She was trying to run away to Singapore and defo did not want to come to Vaibhav Villa and now , she has NO idea that D has sent V after her and that D has plans to MAKE her come back .

In her OTT niceness to score brownie points with Vaibhavji , D has dug Sabina's grave .

Neither did IMV want to destroy Sabina nor did Sabina want to get destroyed by being Laila .She was pragmatic enough to choose HER reputation over Vaibhav's love and had fled to another country as her instincts told her that this was a dangerous man she was dealing with and he unfortunately held the cards in HIS hands .

IMV had no intentions of destroying her . He wanted to hold ugly facts over her head and coerce her to STAY OUT of his son's life , bas .

But Devki has forced him in such a corner that he will come out snarling now . Not only is she leaving as his bahu , but she is forcing Sabina down his throat .

She is forcing him to open his closed hidden fist .

Baa could have STOPPED this all . She knows her son . She cud have warned D that S was Vaibhavs past flame . She should have sent Sabina packing . In her bid to be Mother Teresa , Baa destroyed the lives of BOTH ...Sabina and Devki . For her , an idealistic war of words was more important than pragmatic forecast of what would ensue .

Master was more pragmatic .

Did not Baa know that whatever innocent D decides , IMV wud capsize it all and NEVER let her go ?

Did not she know WHAT IMV held over Sabina's head and what was at stake for her ?

Was Vaibhav's marraige to Sabina really worth this bloodshed ?

The destruction of reputations , families , perhaps a death ?

Baa simply amazes me . The only one who knew EVERYTHING , she did NOTHING . She aided Devki to open the can .

Kools: you know D has always been OTT in her idealism bid.. when VV was his real self.. he wld stop her.. from going all the way.. show her the practicality.. aka Sid's career choice track.. Swing air time also.. when he couldnt IMV wld wreck it.. now b'coz he lost objectivity D had no one to stop her.. IMV was out of the scenario.. moreover she was in love with this man.. and went out of her way.. in a bid like your are saying potential jeopardizing Sabina.. the thing is Sabina herself tried to stay clear of IMV.. but at some point when she stayed back or even before after reading Ds card.. when her mahaanta keeda jumped she added herself injury.. and Baa supported that.. if D is responsible.. Sabina herself is.. by her self admission to VO I dont care what happens to me as far as I get to talk V out of this madness.. but obv when it affected VO and his family and she saw she cldnt help the scenario with V.. she left.. but too late..

Baa is one person who has had most amount of information about everyone and has royally messed up.. she knew exactly what kinda documents IMV had abt Sabina..yet behind his back she supported Sabina's stupidity.. when Sid the other confidante told her to leave.. Baa and her keeda.. she did not think abt how shoving a hubby wld adversely affect VV.. wat kinda torture it is.. how tht cld potentially be harmful for VD.. and now when she knows.. and the rest master warned her tht be ready for IMVs wrath.. she ran to warn IMV🤣 in her characteristic main lad padungi. .aka shri krishna..

Dear old lady.. why take your self so seriously.. your domain isnt as wide as IMVs.. he can hurt from all angles.. if he wanted.. you can protect D in the house.. not outside it.. not in business.. thts IMVs realm.. you cant stop IMV from hurting Sabina.. Master knows abt the bank manager fiasco.. he knows how dangerous IMV can get if rubbed wrong.. and its stupidity to show bravery there..its suicide.. coz by their own admission they cant go to the level that iMV can go to.. thats why Baa bothers me now.. she doesnt think about the info she has.. to put things in perspective for everyone.. and she takes herself too seriously when she doesnt know half the things.. CP is IMVs last weapon.. he can very well blackmail BB.. tht D has no one after him.. apart from their family.. and for her good he better put some sense for her own good.. he can blackmail BB abt divulging parimita's secret.. or why blackmail he can break D emotionally by divulging tht.. he has too many weapons in his hand.. to not even use his mind to its full capacity..

in any war.. its prudent to know your adversary.. Baa declares war without knowing who or what she is taking on.. or for tht matter what she is fighting for in the first place😆

Exactly . He has too many weapons and absolutely no filters . That makes him exceedingly dangerous . Sabina had boasted in front of him That I am not scared of u but her actions spoke otherwise . She had FLED the country . Even the way she was leaving the room when she had gone to talk to Vaibhav and had instead met him , she was FRIGHTENED . He is really a very dangerous man to trifle with . Inspite of KNOWING this Baa simply allowed D to do her innocent nonsense .

I agree with u that Sabina too started digging her grave by listening to IMV and staying on and bringing Vicky as Naki Pati and giving him even more ammunition besides her mother's disreputable photos .

Vaibhav KNOWS his Dad well although he speaks less . See how he had gone to him and bluntly asked him , Dad Why did u bring Sabina here ? Also , the moment he had returned from Singapore and realised that S had been to meet IMV , he had told IMV , Look I know u had sent me away to get me out of the way . Vaibhav KNOWS his Dad . He has no illusions . It is so sad that Vaibhav was not in his senses enough to stop Devki from going OTT this time . The sparkle that came in his eyes when Devki declared she wud finance Sabina's film and his silence on the subject instead of dissuading her firmly was the first dive of his normally objective mind . It later went on failing ...by the time all this ended he was insane , babbling in drunken stupor and unable to stop D from doing gross mistakes .

Thats the reason Baa angers me . Charu did NOT know half the facts ...like WHAT IMV held over Sabinas head etc . But BAA knew . Yet she endangered Sabina instead of telling her to flee . She of all people shud have known that IMV will be even more nasty now that Vaibhav is already married .That this time , there will be no warnings from him but direct action .

In his case, the trade off has been transforming from Ishwar to IMV.

Only 3 people can touch the Ishvar still hidden under IMV . Baa , CP and Devki . Devki manages to touch Ishvar each time while talking to IMV .

how do I gather IMV.. and his means well.. some of corporate tactics are rather classical management styles that I have observed in my dad.. and my ex-boss.. both very smart and enterprising.. hence successful in their spheres..😆

Last three four days I finally manage to catch up on pre-leap GK scenes(was mega intrigued mainly because of the discussions my GK-fied friends used to have and ofcourse AP's awesome GK creations.. My friends AP/Anu/Nureat and Mash actually mentioned about your scene by scene discussion thread..I am just on the first thread.. Have to say love the way you write and analyze! And like Sonali somehow I always liked the word zephyr too hehe... Good to see you here on the MB forum

exactly till now a mess of epic proportions like this.. hasnt happened coz VV acted as a buffer.. he very well considered his dad's underhanded ploy in getting Sabina out of the way.. what stuck him bad then was this woman IN SPITE of that.. wasnt READY to give them more benefit.. and he HAD TO buy his dad's theory.. ideally the old objective VV wouldnt not be crestfallen if he found out abt his dad's involvement back then.. he would have expected it. even NOW like you mentioned he had tht playing.. at the back of his mind.. IMV knows now.. tht was d golden phase when she came and one got to see the Ishwar.. BB also knows.. so does IMVs wife.. altho she doesnt know IMVs history with her.. Parimita when coaxed to return.. to being CP left.. so till date Devki doesnt know..

IMV-D is the core of the story.. and how D is his redemption in the end.. it has loads of similarity to Heathcliff and Cathy's daughter from wuthering heights... but with more layers..

Thanks a bunch for the warm welcome with that very precise summary - I think I figured most of the links except who's daughter D really was - with CP. Now I know. So BB has some blame to share, as does Baa - the latter in a not so obvious way, but very much in concurrence with the other post you made about her - she is a woman of idealist ideals, which no human - including she herself - can really accomplish in the 'ideal' manner. Honestly, if I was going to pick un-realism between black and white, I'd at least pick black, because it doesn't label itself demi-god perfect in preaching a right in theory, wrong in practice.

Not sure I'll be catching up with all the episodes of the past - that might be too much catching up to do - but I'll watch the link you've shared, and if you have any other critical clips in mind I ought to look up, please link/tell me?

I like how all the 'anti-hero' main lead shows sooner or later tend to show streaks of Heathcliff 😆 So I got done watching Gulaal, where Kesar showed that side of Heathcliff which would not let Cathy herself be in peace - the kind of lover who would not be content with putting Sunday flowers by his late lover's grave, but dig it up - sully himself, and sully the concept of 'R.I.P.'
