Again a very engrossing topic nd discussion.👏

Sonali ur take on IMV tht after having done all his misdeeds finally redeeming himself thru CP isn't palatable for me. Wen in today's episode he told 2 Charu dat all the puniya she was doing was to counter the paap done by him, it only reinforced my take tht IMV is beyond redemption. How can he so balantly nd nonchalantly talk abt his paap nd still seem redeemable? As Babuji guessed, IMV is shown now using Ishwar for his own daibolic means...he has reached his nadir. Also I found tht IMV saying to himself tht only Baa nd CP hv seen the Ishwar in him made me extremely sad as I feel tht wat little Ishwar he had in him has now been completely lost nd he's becoming souless. Also just as V always had those qualities tht makes him so adorable to us audience🤗😍 nd Sabina only awakened dem, similarly the malevolent nd diabolic qualities of IMV must hv been inherent in him, which were brought to the fore after CP's death nd the perceived injustices meted out to IMV.
I see IMV as a weak person as he let tht one aspect of his life, however intense, dictate his whole life. It would hv been OK if it was shown dat dat ignites the fire in him to prove those doubters (i.e., Bha) wrong nd he becomes super successful (which is shown)... but tht also becomes the reason for him not able 2 hv one true relationship nd all his relationships r undermined by tht one wrong dat is done to him...dat makes him a weak person.
Coming to the Sabina angle, I don't think there has been a closure to dat track. I'm neither for or against V-D or V-S, but would like to hv Sabina back in the picture to see how the equation is shown to develop between the three of them - V-D-S. Again it's a complex relation as it's not only V-D vs V-S, but there is also an S-D (nd I don't mean Dostana style😉). The one time dat S meets D she gv her a bracelet nd told her to show it to her if ever S forget's her promise or sumthing like dat...so I'm sure S will be back.
@kools - I know initally it seemed dat D would be shown as someone who would be constantly teaching lesons to IMV, but it was misleading nd I don't think tht dat was ever the intention.I too, like Sonali, like the way the soap has turned out till now. Also I liked ur take on showing IMV not totally black nd D wid her innocence, good intentions nd straight ways making IMV realise of his follies nd he changing for the better...but now wid the entry of CP it doesn't seem likely. Now IMV has becum a black character wid his killing spree.
All this time it's IMV's love for CP nd how her rejection, her marraige nd the difficult life after tht nd her death shaped IMV's future course of life. I would like the CV's to show frm the POV of CP...how intense was her love for IMV?(as she did tell IMV she couldn't continue wid their relationship as Bha didn't approve nd had fixed her up wid sumone else). Also now as a sadhavi we see her as a strong woman but she musn't always hv been 1 as she was not able 2 stand up for her love, got into an abusive marraige nd finally abondoned her child. The CV's can show us a glimpse of her past.
OK Tht's it...actually not...😳but it has become way too long a post for me.😉

Coming to CP ... y'days Epi was a shocker. IMV's emotional side was brought into picture. It was quiet shocking to see IMV being so desperate to see/meet CP/Sadhvi. I am deffo waiting for this track to open up before making any conclusions over this.

Yes it was very sad .

Chandraprabha is at peace . He isn't .

Chandraprabha was more collected than him even in youth she had first gone along with him but later buckled under her father . It was he who always got the raw end of the stick .

Chandraprabha did not bother to tell anyone she was alive but spent the rest of her life in anonymity . He spent a living life with a dead heart .

I feel bad for him .He has suffered and hence he spreads suffering

He could not get over her .I don't think he will now .

There is no meaning in this story if Vaibhav Virani remains a sore looser just like his Dad IMV😉

Devki is a person who traded her body in the name of sacred institution of marriage for the betterment of BB's business that does not make her a better person on any grounds. VV will definately be a looser in love at par with IMV if he does not beat the cunning game of IMV in separating Sabina from him.

There are many marraiges that are done as a compromise ...this is a reality of life . There is not a shred of love etc in many arranged marraiges . There r some arranged marraiges where the girl simply marries for sake of parents , though she does not like boy initially . Saying that they SOLD themselves is a bit harsh . This is simply reality of life .

Its not just Devki . Even Vaibhav has accepted this Compro Marraige . Has he too sold himself ?

I dont think they sold themselves . They simply settled for the compromise as the Real thing was currently not within miles and miles of their radius .Both are intensely practical and objective people and are jelling VERY WELL . Infact had Vaibhav not got that crush on Sabina , this marraige wud have been very succesful . IMV has done many bad things but he knows a diamond when he spots one and he picked one for his son .

I think they will do very well together . Its already started . They are made for each other and will do the sacred institute of marraige proud .

Two evils togather dont make one good its not mathematics that two negatives multiply to bcome positive, just because VV also compromised does not make a Devki any better person on any day. Time can change many things but history is a witness to the fact that Devki was incapable and handicapped and forced to trade herself for the betterment of BB's business

How then is VV good enough for Sabeena since he has traded himself for whatever reasons? A lot of girls and boys are pressurized every day to forgo their love and marry according to parent's wishes. It is each person's circumstances and will power and intent that decides if the boy/girl agrees to do it or not. But once done, you can't go back and say the arranged marriage was forced and now I'm going to be unhappy and keep my spouse unhappy for the rest of the life; or after marriage decide to pursue their love. Sabeena let go of her love, she had valid reasons and was pressured, I agree. But she did let go, and Vaibhav married Devki in his full senses. He may have been cheated by IMV, but he and Devki were both fully knowledgable of the circumstances of their marriage to the best of their knowledge, and they both accepted it. And marriage is not a game, however it may have started off. I personally like both Sabeena and Devki's characters. While Sabeena has dignity and elegance, Devki has innocence and vulnerability and the ability to trust. They are both awesomely written characters, all of MB is actually, and it's unfair and harsh to use such words for either of them just coz you (or anybody else) wants VV to be with one or the other. And I take offense from the fact that you're talking about compromise in an arranged marriage as if it is prostitution. Your words about trading bodies and oneself is extremely objectionable, so please use less harsh words while making your point the next time around.

P.S. Hi Kool. Long time 😛 🤗

@Kool... you snatched the exact words from my mouth.. 80% of the people in India still go through arranged marraige mostly on their parents sense of judgement.. some of them are not even ready for it.. but see it as a compromise to start with.. but WORKING out a marriage is what it entails.. the lofty romanticism needs to be balanced with practicality.. my point of reference are my own parents.. who never met each other before marriage.. and have built a beautiful world around them after more than 30yrs of working on it daily..

@Sowmya: m so glad to see your post.. I would take immense objection to the use of words by the concerned writer.. but really I do take pity in the thought process.. I feel ashamed as a human being in general forget bringing my feminist streak...i love every character in this show. .and try to see things from their POV.. dont feel the need to demean anyone.. for the sake of it..

and welcome to the forum.. do post more often. .there are few of us.. tht love the show in totality and respect differences of opinions.. esp coz we can state them in a civilized, polite manner
