@ Dew: The girl was good in the beginning but the popularity bug bit her and she transformed... 😊 Jigya is good, even girl's parents were brilliant... the acting of almost all the characters is good.
About cast of MRD, I agree to disagree, the cast must be a great one, but the acting did not click for me. Just my opinion again.
Again a disagreement here... concept was based on a tradition that still exists in Raj, MP and some of the others states. The idea of child marriage is repellent but the concept was something new and the acting and presentation style complimented that.
Well Ranjana, there are plenty of books that does not reflect our lifestyle or culture but we still read them. There is space for everything, one needs to explore that and built a great storyline. BV just did not... take it as a story based on an evilish tradition.
The popularity may have given the impression of its glorifying child marriages, but the story always sticked to its negativities.
Again my opinion. 😊
,,,,,,,,,,Agree Anshu,Infact Let me clear my stance here when I said the concept I didt aprove of I meant the treatment of it, Why it is nice for sure but the way it is dealt with is pathetic. I also understand that child marriage do exist and it is still thriving in our nation but then if need to change a system we should not gloryfy it but try and show some positive change in that. I have seen a friend of mine given away in a marriage like that as per a tradition among Pandas of mathura. She stood against it held her ground and though she had to marry when she was 12 years but with the condidition implied that she would agree only if the family lets her study further and then let her utilise her education if she pleases. Amazing maturity that girl had for her age> Today she is a research scintist married to the same guy and is very happy. Went to her sasural after doing hr masters. I think we need to show progression and not regression. My view .
