In the jetage we are talking about mata ka hamatkar and Bhoot and aatma. Crap. wonder why do peopl ewant to watch such unrealistic stories.

But I m a bit shocked with the fact that after changing the script MRD was doing very well..trps suddenly jumped and even entered top 20 and top 10 many times that too on its own merit without any proper promotional campaign...so after all this why MRD should b closed and not shows like jaane kya,rehe tera...,bandhan and all that craps which r fairing poorly sinse Jan and MRD hv overtaken them now...

Thats what has shocked me the most why to axe it when it is picking up and doing well.

Did the channel even tried to promote the show at least once like how they r promoting someone's death in bandhan or that JS serial ??😡....They are promotong child marriage only. Show something positive there atleast.

Why did they not promote MRD in a similar manner...??😕 God knows.They dont even have a set time for its repeats.

I think lack of promotion was always the cause of its poor trps..but now when its fairing well even without promotion,they r axing it instead of giving it a new time slot or something😕

I hope colors people r coming to this forum and seeing this outburst from all of us😡..so that they can change their decision😡...we can only hope for a miracle now😭

The fault also lies at the production house end. Other than the protagonists and the concept (only the concept), the serial was turning out to be a big mess.

The knee-jerk storyline (this is not working, lets try something else tomorrow )... there was no continuity. The acting of most of the characters was sub-standard... and less said about the sets.

Baalika V ... If I have the time, I can watch the serial just for the acting of dadi sa. More than the child marriage, it's the acting, and the presentation that made B.V a hit.

For me, MRD lost all its charm long time ago ... but still I am little taken aback by the news, but I did not see this serial surviving for too long.

I agree, of late terrible shows are being telecst undeer the guise of fighting for social causes .....

Just becos BV was a hit; now we'll get a load of them ......

MRD was certainly one of a kind ........

Handled with care it would been a beacon for serials with real stuff ....

Unfortunately the PH and channel were too impatient to continue the story in its logical course .....

They tampered with the story and turned it into a run-of-the-mill soap ....

In the bargain the characters of the main leads were butchered, even before the they could take shape .....

Unfortunately the television industry in India is headed for some dark times ....

What with reality shows which show scant regard for the sensibilities of the viewers or even the participants, making nervous wrecks of starry eyed youngsters and even small kids, stripping them of their self-respect / confidence all in the name of "reality" .......

The less said about -

child-labour / bonded labour / gender discrimination / extra-marital affairs / domestic violence ....... on TV - the better .....

And the makers have the cheek to gloss over the whole thing, saying ....

'That is what the viewer wants'.......

Has anyone even tried to show

something diff /

something better /

something sensible /

something which doesn't make you squirm in you seat /

something which a family can watch after a hard day of honest toil ?????????

I dont think they even care to think about it .......
