CHAPTER - 20

[ 8 MONTHS LATER ]

Mayank took Nupur out for a vacation,so that her mind remains engaged and her mood mends up and she could forget her pain of loosing the baby.With Mayank's love and hard work,Nupur slowly came out of her trauma and started leading a normal life.8 months later,one day,Mayank called in his home to his mother.The convo :-

M :- "Hello ma!"

S :- "Ha Mayank beta bol.Kaisa hai tu?"

M :- "Ha ma aap sab ke liye ek khush khabri hai."

S :- "Kya hai beta bol?"

M :- "Ma aap daadi banne waali hai.Nupur phir se pregnant hai."

Suhaasini's happiness had no ends.She called everyone and conveyed the good news.

S :- "Mayank beta ab bilkul der mat kar.Jaldi se Nupur ko lekar yaha aaja."

M :- "Ha ma jab bhi agli tickets milenge hum yaha aa jaayenge."

Mayank gave the call to Nupur.

N :- "Hullo ma."

S :- "Dekha maine tujhe kaha tha na ke bhagwaani teri goad phir se hari karenge."

N :- "Ha ma main aa jaaungi."

They cut the call.Suhaasini said,"Sab tayyari karo Nupur ke swaagat ki aur is baar hume bohot zyaada khayaal rakhna hoga aur is baar nupur ka bachcha isi ghar mein janam lega."Everyone agreed.

[ WITHIN FEW DAYS ]

Mayank and Nupur reached Delhi within a few days.They had a grand welcome and everyone pampered Nupur.Saloni said,"Ab kitchen mein aana to dur agar bistar se bhi uthi na to mujhse bura aur koi nehi hoga."Mala said,"Ha aur nehi to kya.Abse tum koi kaam nehi bas araam karogi."Maanav asked Suhaasini,"Tum logo ne Nupur ke gharwaalo ko bataaya hai ya nehi?"Suhaasini said,"Nehi unko abhi tak nehi bola aur koi zarurat bhi nehi hai,jo log apni beti ko beti hi nehi maante,unhe ye sab khabar dene ki kya zarurat hai?"Maanav said,"Suhaasini chahe vo log jaise bhi ho par hai to vo Nupur ke gharwaale aur hamaare rishtedaar hi,Hume duniadaari to nibhaani hi hogi na."Suhaasini agreed.She said,"Thik hai main unko khabar de dungi."Everyone took Nupur inside her bedroom.

In the evening,Nupur's mother and father arrived in Mayank's house.Everyone welcomed them but no one was glad to see them.Suhaasini and Maanav gave a cold welcome to them.Maanav said,"Mubaarak ho nana banne waala hai."Raghuveer smiled and said,"Tujhe bhi."They remained silent for sometime.By that time,Mayank and Nupur arrived and took their blessings.Gayatri asked,"Kaisi hai Nupur?"She replied,"Ha main achchi hu."Gayatri said to Suhaasini,"Main jaanti hu hume kuch bhi kehne ka koi haq to nehi hai,par agar aap sab ijaazat de to Nupur ko main apne saath le jaana chahti hu.Main jaanti hu hum logo ne Nupur ko kabhi vo pyar nehi diya,jiski vo haqdaar thi.Par ab hum apni galti sudhaarna chahte hai.Please hume ek mauka de dijiye."Suhaasini said,"Nehi!Hargiz nehi!Pehle hi hamaari bachchi ne us ghar mein jaakar apna bachcha kho diya hai,ab hum usey waha hargiz nehi jaane denge."Maanav said,"Ha Nupur kahi nehi jaayegi,vo yehi rahegi."Raghuveer said,"Hum jaante hai hamaari galti maafi ke qaabil nehi hai,par hume apni galti sudhaarne ka ek mauka to de dijiye.Mayank said,"Main apni biwi aur bachche ki jaan dubaara khatre mein nehi daal sakta."Gayatri joined her hands and pleaded,"Please hume ek mauka de dijiye."Nupur couldn't see her mother like that.She grabbed her hands and said,"Please ma aap aisa mat kijiye."Nupur looked at Suhaasini and said,"Ma ek aakhri baar inki baat sun lijiye na mere liye."Mayank asked,"Pehli baar tumhi to mana kar rahi thi ke tumhe nehi jaana hai inke saath to ab achaanak kya ho gaya?"Nupur replied,"Tab ki baat aur thi aur abki baat aur hai.Aaj inke aasu saaf saaf bata rahe hai ke inhe apni galti ka ehsaas ho gaya hai aur pashchaataap se bari bari saza aur kuch nehi hoti.Please maan jaaiye na aap sab.Mujhe pata hai is baar sab mera bohot khayaal rakkhenge.Pehle maine mana kiya tha par ab main keh rahi hu,please maan jaaiye."Nupur persuaded everyone and at last,unwillingly everyone gave their consent and Nupur was allowed to go to her home.

Nupur was given a grand welcome in her house.Uday and Disha were ready to leave the house,but somehow,the BF managed to persuade them and they agreed to stay.Disha and Naina removed all her evil eyes.Both the brothers came and took her in.Adhiraj and Naina were very repentful.Naina said,"Sabke saath saath maine bhi hamesha tere saath bohot badsaluki ki hai,mujhe maaf kar de."Adhiraj said,"Maine bhai hokar bhi raakhi ki izzat nehi rakkhi.Tere saath hamesha sautela bartaav kiya,mujhe bhi maaf karde."Nupur said,"Main aap sabse choti hu please aap log mujhe aise sharminda mat kijiye.Aap sabko apni galti ka ehsaas hai na bas yehi mere liye bohot hai.Mujhe aur kuch nehi chahiye."Gayatri said,"Chalo ab saare rona dhona bandh karo aur Nupur ko uske kamre mein lekar jaao,zyaada de raise time par khare rehna thik nehi hai.Maine uska kamra neeche shift kara diya hai taaki usey zyaada seeriya na charni pare."Naina took Nupur to her room and everyone else Disha and Uday were left behind.Disha said,"Aakhirkaar sab thik ho hi gaya hai na?"Uday replied,"Ha.Sab kuch."Both looked on.

[ 8 MONTHS LATER ]

Nupur was half lying on the bed and Gayatri was arranging her wardrobe.Nupur said,"Ma???Ma???Meri baat suno na??O ma??"Gayatri irritatingly looked at her and asked,"Kya hai?Tabse ma ma kehkar gala phaare ja rahi hai?Bol."Nupur asked,"Ma main thora khana bana lu?"Gayatri replied,"Naina aur Disha ne bana liya hai."Nupur asked,"Ma raat ke liye sabziya kaat du?"Gayatri replied,"Shaam ko hum teeno bethkar kaat lenge."Nupur asked,"Ma tumhaara sar daba du tel maalish kardu?"Gayatri said,"Nehi koi zarurat nehi hai."Nupur became very angry.She said,"Kuch bhi kahu to nehi kar sakti,mujhe koi kaam nehi karne deta hai.Is tarah se to main paagal ho jaaungi.Aise ghar mein koi insaan kaise bina kaam ke beth sakta hai.Main bol rahi hu main ghar se bhaag jaaungi.Main us ghar waapas chali jaaungi."Gayatri laughed and said,"Ha ja.Yaha to phir bhi tu chal phir sakti hai,vaha teri saas tujhe bistar se uthne bhi na de."Nupur was disheartened since Gayatri was right.Nupur made a crying face and said,"Main aise nehi reh sakti,please,koi to kaam dedo."Disha came with her 7 months daughter ASMI in her arms and said,"Kisne kaha hum tujhe aise bekaar ghar par bethne denge?Ye le sambhaal apni bhatiji ko teri bohot laadli hai na.Main iske nahaane ka pani nikaal deti hu,tu araam se neeche beth,iski tel maalish kar aur isko nehla de."A bright smile appeared on Nupur's face and she immediately took Asmi in her arms and said,"Karegi na bua apni laadli Asmi ki achche se tel maalish karegi phir usey nehlaayegi,phir ek shweet sa dress pehnaakar,usey khilaayegi bhi aur uske saath khelegi bhi.Hai na?Asmi bua ke saath khelegi na?"Disha made all the arrangements and also put the bucket of water on the floor.Nupur sat on the floor.Gayatri brought oil for Asmi and said,"Asmi aise vaise tel se thore hi maalish karvaayegi,uske liye to special tel laayi hai daadi jisse uski haddiya mazbut ho jaayegi.Hai na Asmi?"Nupur did Asmi's massage and gave her a shower.After that Disha brought Asmi's meal and Nupur fed her.It was sleeping time for Asmi so Disha took her and said,"Ja Nupur,jaakar khaana kha le.Mummyji ne bulaaya hai."Nupur left from there.

In the next 8 months,everything changed in Nupur's house.Her whole family showered all the love over her which she never got in her entire love.No one allowed her to do any kind of work in the house.Earlier when Nupur wanted to take rest from household works,now she shouts and pleads to do work.She was only allowed to play and take care of her niece,Uday and Disha's daughter Asmi.When she was born,everyone welcomed her whole-heartedly which they didn't in case of Nupur.Everyone pampered her to the core,but Asmi's favourate was Nupur.Upto 7 months,on Nupur's insistence,she was allowed to go to yoga classes so that she and her to-be-born twins remain fit.Nupur,with all the ladies sometimes used to go to shopping and every weekend they all had dinner outside.Other than this,Nupur was not allowed to go outside since Gayatri thinks that someone may cast evil eyes on her daughter and her to-be-born grandchildren.Mayank,before leaving for Mumbai,used to come everyday to Nupur to check whether everything was fine or not,since at the beginning,he didn't trust them.Slowly all the SF forgave them and accepted them as family.Every night Gayatri used to sleep with Nupur.Mayank used to call Nupur everyday.

In the dining table,Naina served Nupur food.On seeing the quantity,Nupur exclaimed,"Bhabhi main itna khaaungi to mar jaungi.Ye to teen logo ka khaana hai."Naina replied,"To tu bhi to teen hi hai.Tere andar ek nehi do jaan pal rahi hai,tu zyaada khaayegi to unko bhi to aadha aadha milega."Nupur smiled and started eating.Nupur said,"Bhabhi mujhe achaar khaani hai,bohot mann kar raha hai."She replied,"Thik hai main tere bhaiya ko bol dungi ke aate waqt saare samaan le aaye."Nupur nodded her head.

In the evening,when Adhiraj returned,he said,"Naina tumne to bola nehi ke kya laana hai main jitney cheezo ka achaar banta hai na,sab utha laaya."He handed the packets to Naina and she on seeing the packet asked,"Ye kya kiya aapne?Aap ko pata hai na Nupur ko imli ka achaar pasand hai,aur aap itna saara...Mummyji!!!Dekhiye apne bete ki kartoote."Gayatri said,"Uff!Tune bhi kisko bheja ye sab laane ko.Saare mard ek jaise hai is ghar ke."At that moment,from the doorstep,someone said,"Main aisa nehi hu."Everyone looked at the doorstep and found Mayank standing there.All were very happy on seeing him.Nupur was super excited.Gayatri asked,"Mayank kab aaye?"He replied,"Abhi thori der pehle hi aaya.Ghar par samaan rakh kar seedha yaha aa gaya."Nupur abgrily asked,"Tumne mujhe kal bataya kyu nehi ke aaj tum aane waale ho?"He replied,"I wanted to give you surprise."Gayatri asked him to come in.Uday came out of her room with Asmi and said,"Disha iske dudh peene ka time ho gaya hai.Tumhaara kisi taraf dhyaan hi nehi hai."Gayatri said,"Tera to bohot dhyaan hai har taraf,kitne dino se bol rahi hu ke Disha ko Asmi ke saath uske ghar chor aa par nehi tu meri baat sunta kaha hai."Uday replied,"Disha ko jaane do Asmi mere saath rahegi.Hai na apne papa ke saath rahegi na meri pari?"Disha said,"Dekha mummyji ye mujhe ghar se nikaalna chahte hai."Gayatri said,"Main isko ghar se nikaal dungi."Everyone laughed at this.All the BF alongwith Mayur enjoyed the evening.

In the evening,Mayank and Nupur went for dinner outside.After returning,they again had a fight whether they will be having baby boys or girls or both.Nupur opted for boys and Mayank opted for girls.Gayatri came to their room to ask whether they need anything.Mayank asked,"Mummyji ek baat bataaiye aapko kya lagta hai,do bete honge,do beti hongi ya ek beta aur ek beti?"Gayatri understood that was a tricky question.She replied,"Ab chahe beta ho ya beti main to bas itna hi chahti hu ke bachcha swasth paida ho."After that she left.While sleeping,Mayank half lied down on the bed and Nupur leaned over him.Both were lovingly caring Nupur's baby bump and Mayank said,"Hamaare bachcho ne dno parivaaro ko mila diya.Tumhaare familywaale bhi to kitne achche ho gaye."Nupur replied,"Sab kuch tumhaare wajah se hua hai Mayank.Maine to ye ummeed hi chor di thi ke mujhe is janam mein kabhi pyar milega bhi ya nehi,par nehi.Jab main apne kismet ke saath samjhauta kar rahi thi tab tum aaye meri zindagi mein pyar ka farishta bankar aur meri puri zindagi ko pyar se bhar diya.Mujhe aur mere zindagi ko ek maksad diya."Mayank said,"Adhoora to main tha Nupur tumhaare bina.Tumne mujhe pura kiya hai.Pehle maine socha tha ke shaayad tumhaara pyar mujhe kabhi milega hi nehi par bhagwaan mujhpar meherbaan the,tabhi aaj hum dono ek saath hai."Nupur kissed on his cheek and said,"Aur ab hum hamesha saath rahenge."Mayank kissed on Nupur's forehead and said,"I love you Nupur."Nupur said,"I love you too Mayank."Both embraced each other and Nupur slept by putting her head on his chest.

Nupur's life started with measury,without love and care but Mayank entered her life with a ray of hope and happiness who completed her with everything which she never had.He taught her to live,to love and to be happy and they both lived happily ever after.

EPILOGUE :-

[ 3 YEARS LATER ]

Nupur and Mayank took two packs of gifts and two teddy bears and then went out of their room,early morning.They opened the door of another room and walked inside slowly towards a medium size bed.They put the gifts on the side of the bed and then slowly removed the blanket and found two small little angels were sleeping hugging each other.They both were the replica of each other and so everytime it becomes difficult for all the family to decided whos who and the two naughty angels always takes advantage of it.These two girls love each other very much and always do naughty pranks with evertyone and saves each other from the elders' anger.They can fool the whole world,even Mayank but not Nupur.When they were born,their father was the happiest person on the earth since he won the challenge of having daughters.They were PIHU and KUHU MAYANK SHARMA,Mayank and Nupur's 3 years old twin daughters.Nupur and Mayank kissed both in their forehead and wished together,"Happy birthday!"Nupur woke them up and said,"Utho utho aise birthday waale din itne der tak koi sota hai kya?Chalo uth jaao."Pihu and Kuhu both,with difficulty opened their eyes and slowly woke up.Mayank said,"Ye lo tum dono ke liye mamma aur papa ke taraf se gift."Pihu asked,"Ittaaa(Itna) bala teddy beal?"Kuhu said,"Dech(Dress) bi laaye?"Nupur said,"Ha hamesha ke tarah dono ke liye bilkul ek jaisa."Both the sisters opened the gift and found two same to same dress of the same colour.Pihu then said to Kuhu,"Appy badday Koo!"Kuhu too wished her back,"Appy badday Piu!"Both the sisters hugged each other.Mayank asked,"Aur mamma papa ko huggy kaun dega?"Both hugged their parents.

When they came out,they found everyone waiting for them outside.All wished them birthday.Just like Nupur,everyone used to give them one pair of the same thing so that they never fight for anything.Kuhu asked,"Bolo main kaun hu?"Pihu asked,"Piu ya Koo?"Everyone again became confused.Suhaasini pointed correctly Pihu as Pihu and Kuhu as Kuhu.Pihu lightly slapped on her head and said,"Piu chab gatti(galti) katte(karte) hai.Hamecha koi caet(correct) nei bolta."Kuhu replied,"Chab buddu(budhdhu) hai."Pihu said,"Main Koo ye Piu!Ab toccat(chocolate) do."Maanav was bound to give her chocolates as it was a rule that whenever anyone looses to recognizes them correctly,they get a chocolate.This time,Nupur stopped him and said,"Papaji,jhut bol rahi hai dono,ma ne sahi guess kiya tha."Both Pihu and Kuhu made faces and said,"Teatin(cheating) aap ganni mamma ho."Kuhu asked,"Aap habbal(har baar) jeet jaate ho.Kaiche?"Nupur replied,"Kyuki main tum dono ki mamma hu aur mamma ko sab pata hota hai."Maanav felt sorry for them and still gave them the chocolates.Suhaasini pampered them a lot.but as soon as her hand fall on their head,the both exclaimed,"Dadi baal nei!Ganne ho jaayenge."Everyone laughed at this since Mayank never used to like if anyone touches his hair.Nupur said,"Chalo dono breakfast karne aur phir sham ko nana nani aayenge na."Pihu asked,"Achmi(Asmi) didi aul Kan(Karan) baiya bi aayenge?"Nupur nodded her head.

In the evening,there was a party for Kuhu and Pihu's birthday and many people were invited.While Nupur was getting them ready,Pihu asked,"Mamma hum kitne yeal ke ho gaye?"Koo replied,"Aley papa ne kal bola na hum thee(three) yeal ke ho gaye."Pihu asked,"One,tu(two),thee(three)??Hum bae ho gaye mamma?Ab main au Koo ichkool(school) jaayenge?"Nupur replied,"Nehi beta tum dono agle saal se school jaaoge."Kuhu asked,"Aap loj tippin(tiffin) bi doge?"Nupur said,"Ha."Pihu asked,"Muje jam bed(jam bread) au Koo ko paachta(pazzta) dena ha mamma."Kuhu asked,"Mamma ichkool jaane ke baad hume loj kan baiya,Palak didi ke talah homeark(homework) kanna paega?"Nupur said,"Dono ek saath continuous baate karte rehte ho.Kitna bolte ho?Uff!Mamma na kisi din paagal ho jaayegi tum dono ke vajah se."Koo thought for a moment and then said,"Pal papa kehte hai ke aap paagal ho."Nupur became very angry at Mayank on hearing this.After that,Nupur took both outside.The BF pampered them a lot.Gayatri said,"Ale meli nanhi pari.Kitni pyari lag rahi ahai dono."Pihu said,"Pata hai nani,ye dech mamma ne di hai au papa ne ye bae bae teddy beal di hai."Both then went to Raghuveer and then asked,"Nanu aap chaicle(cycle) laaye ho na?"He replied,"Ha laaya hu."Both the sisters were very happy.Nupur then called them to cut the cake.After cutting the cake,they gave it to all.

After the party,both were busy unwrapping the gift.Nupur came and said,"Ab so jaao,kal uthkar dekh lena."Both the sisters obediently lied down on the bed and Nupur sang a song for them to make them go to sleep.At that moment,Mayank came with a camera and said,"Ek minute.Time for a family photo jo hum hamesha Kuhu-Pihu ke birthday mein uthaate hai."Both the sisters jumped on the bed and Mayank fixed the camera.Four o them posed in front fof the camera in different pose and the camera clicked automatically capturing their memorable and happiest moment as a proof of their happiness.
