"Tumhe wahan se mujhe waapas laane ki zaroorat kya thi? "

Nupur had asked this question 100 times before they reached home. Mayank after asking her to keep quiet till they reached home, ignored her totally. He had driven back in samrats car .

Nupur had started talking by the time they had reached home . As Mayank parked the car and without speaking back, went inside the house. She followed him keeping up a constant stream of one sided conversation.

"Tumhe wahan se mujhe waapas laane ki zaroorat kya thi? Nahin mayank, jo hai bolne do. ( can anyone stop her from talking?!!!) Gunjan bohot innocent hain. Agar koi bhi uske saath ache se baat karega tho woh uski dost ban jaathi hain. Aur samrat tho ek no ka flirt hai. apne baton se Mumbai ki ladkiyon ko phasaa saktha hain , tho gunjan kya cheez hai? Abhi hum wahan se aaye tho.."

"Shut up Nupur." Mayank s voice was soft but steely. He had entered inside, put on the lights and turned to her in the middle of the room with his hands in his pockets, his eyes as steely as his voice. He was angry. Sam was his only friend,his first friend and come to think of it his best friend. no not only that samrat was one of the nicest persons he had ever met. He treated them as family. He was angry at the injustice of nupur accusing samrat.

"SHUT UP!! MATLAB?"

" jahaan tak mujhe yaad hain , tumhare chiruji samjhaa rahe the ki SHUT UP ka matlab hai CHUP RAHO aur woh bhi GUSSEWALE anger mein." His voice bordering between sarcasm and anger.

"chiruji ko beech mein mat lao. Hum samrat ki baat ..."

"nahin nupur, tum samrat ko beech mein mat lao..in sab mein samrat kahin pe bhi nahin hai. tum apne aur gunjan ke bare mein socho. Samrat ko isme mat kheencho."

"matlab?" she asked in a cross voice.

He moved forwards and put his hand on her shoulders torn between anger and concern ," matlab tum khudh jaanthi ho. "

"achha? Main tho yeh jaanthi hoon ki samrat se meri behen ko bachana hai."her voice harsh and shrill.

"samrat hain nupur. Tumhara friend hain, mera friend hain.kya tum nahin jaanthi ki woh gunajn ko kitna maantha hain? Aur tum please dheere bolo"

"main dheere hi bhol rahi hoon. Dosti alag baat hain mayank. Agar usne humare liye ghar diya tho kya hum uski koi bhi manmaani dekhthe rahe. Aur waise bhi tum mujhe kyun keh rahe ho? Tumhine dekha na aaj , agar hum waqt pe nahin pahunch the tho..." she tried to make her point

"tho kya?"

"mayank..." she said, her tone conveying her annoyance that he didn't think what he saw was important enough.

"kya nupur? Kya hamare beech aisa kuch hua nahin tha . har couple mein kuch na kuch .."

"hamaare beech aisa kab kuch hua hai mayank?"

"jab main Bangalore jaa raha tha tab nupur? Jab hum apne pehle date peg aye tab? Jab hum woh classroom mein jaathe the tab?"

" jab tum Bangalore jaa rahe the, tab...matlab hum...hamare beech kuch hua..." she couldn't complete her sentence and say that nothing happened between them.

She knew and he knew how weak and helpless both had been on that night in the barn. And how much in love!! She stared at him now and could plainly see the struggle that both had been through to let each other go. She remembered clearly how thankful about it she had been later , when bauji fixed her wedding with adhiraj and she ultimately decided to breakup with Mayank. Not that it was a wrong thing but...she had never felt she was doing something wrong then...but now...she didn't know if being in love was enough anymore...she just didn't..

Mayank stared at her and could almost hear the voices in her head .he himself had thanked his stars that they hadn't gone all the way on that night. Not that he felt it was wrong thing but it just led to more complications.. He pulled her close to himself. He was still angry with her, he knew she was overreacting but he knew why. He also knew she had no idea that she was mixing up all her problems and was reacting . more than anything, he knew she thought gunjan was really in trouble.

"mayank,"she put her hands on his chest, resisting the urge to put her head on his chest and forget all her fears. She knew she would believe every word of his if she would let her guard down.

"mayank, saare chheze hamare control main nahin hota hain. Agar bauji ko pata chalega tho woh yahin kahenge ki yeh sab meri galathi ki wajah se hua hai.jo hamare saath hua agar woh gunjan ke saaath hua tho. ." her looked at him imploringly, trying to convey the unknown fears she had.

"jo hona hai woh hoke rahega. Uskeliye tum aaj apna saare relationships kyn spoil karna chahthi ho? Gunjan ke saath, samrat ke saath...sab ke saath?"

"mayank, samrat ne gunajn ko sab ke saamne kiss kiya ..." she tried explaining another angle. She had now regained some composure and was speaking in a normal though hurt tone.

"kya gunjan ne mana kiya?"

"nahin. Isliye ki woh bohot bholi hai." she added.

He sighed."us se apna space do nupur. Woh bachhi nahin hai."

" nahin mayank woh tho bauji ki pyaari si, achhi si bachhi hai," she said sarcastically and he immediately caught teh tone but before he could talk to her about that , she continued," aur agar aoh badi hai , phir bhi bade bhi Galati karthe hain mayank. Aur jab bade galthi karthe hain tho woh badi badi galthiyaan hote hain" she remembered her bauji saying meri ek hi beti hai.

"aur un Galati se hi seekthe hain nupur. agar gunjan se kuch Galati hoti hai, tab woh tumhare paas hi aayegi. Agar usko samrat ke saath rehna hain tho rehne do. Aur nupur, tumhe samrat se kab se problems hone lagi?" he tried to remind her her friendship with samrat again.

"mayank,shayad yeh sab galat hain. Yeh sab couple banke ghoomna phirna yeh shaadi ke pehli hi date pe jaana, yeh sab shayad galat hain, jaise bauji kehthe hain waise hi rehna achha hota hain. "

"jab se shaadi hui hai nupur, tab se tumhe sab galat hi lag raha hai." mayank said half jokingly but as both of their eyes met, he realised she was also thinking the same thing. She didn't say it but she felt it was wrong! He let his hands fall from her shoulder and removed her hands which were on his chest.

Nupur felt like she was pushed into a well the moment he let her free.

Just as he turned to walk away, she screamed," ab tum bhi mujhe chod ke jaana chahthe ho na. Tho jao."

Mayank went to the kitchen as she kept up her screaming, picked up dinner in a plate and came back with it to her ," ab khaana khalo.dinner thanda hogaya hai. Mujhe bhi bhook lagi hai."

She looked down at the dinner plate and again guilt enveloped her. As he tried to feed her forcibly, her eyes moistened. she pushed away the plate saying," ab tumhe to ek mauka milgaya ' mujhe chodne ka. Main tho dinner bhi nahin bana sakthi." So saying, she walked out into the inner room and before he could run after her, closed it saying loudly," mujhe akela rahna hai."

Siting on the spare cot, she put her head on the pillow and let the same thoughts run in her head till exhaustion took over and she slept.

But please add some SaJan scenes too, they are currently diluting in the scenario and MayUr are getting more footage! If it is supposed to be a MayUr FF, then sorry to interrupt!😳

I hope Gunjan and Nupur sort out their differences soon and become the inseparable GunUr again!😃
